The food is killer, the service is great, and drinks are made well with a good beer list. Overall vibe and atmosphere is great. Rustic look with still some new age too it. Good music and TVs. Usually our bartender is either Cullen or Chris, and they are both amazing. We see them often for their great happy hour. Pizza is great here but so is everything else. I think this is a solid spot for a large group! Long tables, tons of options, service is fine no complaints. I think every pizza ive tried ive really liked and the nashville hot is really tasty. I can't wait to visit Parlor when the weather is warmer! Their patio looks like an absolute vibe and the happy hour deals (BOGO pizza?!) are unheard of. Great value and most importantly tastes amazing. High quality ingredients, plus whoever is the brain behind the topping combos knows what they're doing. The service was excellent, very quick and nice people! The manager, Jason, even stopped by our table to check in and make sure everything was copacetic. My only notes were that the chairs at the high top tables inside aren't very comfortable and it was so dark that I honestly felt like a grandma having to shine my flashlight on my menu. Service was very good and one of the 2 pizzas we ordered was excellent. However, it's really expensive for what it is. My wife and I purchased 2 drinks (1 beer & 1 cocktail), 1 small salad to share, and 2 12" pizzas. The bill (pre-tip with tax included) was $93. The pizza that was so so was a pepperoni and onion pizza. Base price was $16.50 for that, onion was $2, pepperoni was $5. Cheese was not included and was an additional $4... $28 for an average pep and onion pizza is ridiculous. Again, good service and atmosphere but pizza could be a little better and so could the prices for the create your own ones. read more

Great place to sit on a sunny Sunday when you're hungover and all you're capable of doing is drinking beer and watching football. This place has a gigantic patio. The majority of the seating is outside. Ordered the Art History lager and the Haymarket Pilsner to start. The lager was forgettable, but the Pilsner was great. For the second and third rounds, we both went with the Pilsner. Crisp, clean, light. Got the Cheesus Mary and Joseph pizza but added pepperoni. This pizza would've been extremely lackluster without the pepperoni. With the pepperoni, this pizza was great. Perfect size for two people, and a crispy crust that I actually ate (I'm usually a crust foregoer). I've gone to all three locations in the city and all things considered (avg business, vibes, outside seating), the wicker park location is my favorite. Come here for happy hour if you can (Mon-Fri 4-6) for their spicy marg and bogo pizzas. Unbeatable deal. Came here to celebrate my friend's daughter's birthday after helping to chaperone an escape room with a bunch of teenagers. We were a party of about 10-12 in attendance. They had a nice table setting already prepared for us on high tables as soon as we got there. Our server was super nice and very attentive and came and checked on us several times. The food was delicious! We ordered several pizzas for the kids and I dibbed and dabbed at all of them. They were all made fresh with their wood fired ovens and any pizza I had was great! Crust was perfect along with all the toppings. All of the appetizers were on point and the portions were a plenty! You can go wrong with this joint. It was a fun and vibrant atmosphere in Wicker Park and a beautify day out. This very large, and expansive restaurant is a wonderful variety of pizzas and drinks for all types of clients. Whether you're a heavy mediator, a strict vegan, or somewhere in between, they will likely have something for you. Additionally, it makes a great place for brunch, or very family friendly atmosphere for daytime and early evening hours. However, if you want to stay up later, definitely keeps it up in action and can be very fun scene. I tend to get a cocktail with one of their spicy pizza dishes. But it's all great. A basic spot in Chicago that always has me coming back. I especially like the patio and crowd at this location compared to the others. I came for happy hour with a friend. The happy hour deal here is really solid. They have two for one pizzas as well as some drink deals. We both got the prickly pear margaritas. They were so pink and pretty!! As for pizzas, we got a cheese white pizza (I don't remember the name of it) and my all-time favorite thing on the menu the burrata be kidding me. The burrata pizza is a must order in my opinion. TL;DR A super hip vibe with a creative menu and good food to back it up. Parlor Pizza Bar is vibrant and welcoming in Wicker Park. They have a huge patio on one side and the wall on the other boasts a huge colorful mural. The dining room is large and the huge windows were open the day we visited. The Bears game (and others) were on and Parlor noticeably does an amazing job having music on during commercials and the game audio on during plays. For this visit I made a reservation online for 2pm. There were tables available but we were able to get a booth because of the reservation. I really wanted this to be a five star review, and my (minor) criticisms come in the time between being seating and the food coming out. Service was slow. Not unbearable. And not even a bad thing for a bigger group hanging out relaxing for a way more laid back Sunday. Our server was friendly, and I let her know we were ready to order. I got the banana soufflé pancakes and a side of house hash, and my partner got the eggs benedict pizza. A surprisingly short amount of time passed and my pancakes were brought out. It was then another 15 minutes before the pizza came out. I'm assuming the pizzas are in their own oven or kitchen space and are a separate ticket system from other dishes? But my choices were to eat alone and then watch my partner eat alone, or let my food get cold so we could eat together. I chose the latter. The food was really good and will bring us back. The eggs benny pizza is decadent but not too rich. The eggs are cooked beautifully. The crust is one of my favorites in the city. Chefs kiss all the way around to the pizzas here. The pancakes are novel and fun. I definitely think I lost some of the lightness of the soufflé part by waiting to eat until the rest of the table's food arrived, but I loved the banana cream on the side and the flavor of the pancakes. The house hash was a nice surprise and I love the way they prepare the potatoes. I really wanted to try one of their absolutely bonkers dessert tacos but I filled up on entrees, so that's definitely on the short list to try. I did an online order from takeout here. I was really surprised at house packed this place was when I went to pickup my pizza. Every table was full, but most importantly, the staff was friendly and the pizza was delicious. I ordered a Margherita pizza as well as their Sgt. Pepper pizza. Both were delicious and fairly priced. The Margherita came with your traditional tomato sauce, mozzarella, fresh basil and extra olive oil. Nothing else is needed on this classic pizza. The crust was perfectly charred and everything tasted fresh. The Sgt. Pepper obviously came with pepperoni, mozzarella di Bufala, and white truffle oil. You know that song "oh no, oh no no no no no"? If not, try this place and you may get it. It is basic, not bad, but not good. The best part of this place is the ambiance, and the location. I have been here multiple times because of convenience. Their pizza is so odd, it's wood fired, in a way. They have sports games on and people move all the tall chairs around the tv which makes sitting near a tv inside or out awful. They have some nice salads and that's really what you should get if you go here. The service is always hit or miss because they have so many tables and very few staff, it appears. They also have some fun drinks. This is definitely a kid friendly place from the pizza to their desserts. It also feels very touristy. read more

Come for the pizza, stay for the fun ambiance and drinks! I've been here a few times but most recently during their happy hour (4-7 M-F) on a Friday. We arrived around 6pm and it was pretty busy but we got two seats at the bar. Ordered the Calamari appetizer and two pizzas (pictured) as well as a spicy margarita. All on special as part of happy hour! Service was friendly and the perfect amount of attentiveness. Food came out hot and delicious. Stopped in here for a big group dinner the week of Thanksgiving. It was emptier inside and they were able to accommodate us to sit at a large booth instead. The environment and style of the place is very welcoming and social. The hostess and other greeters as we walked to our table were nice. Our waitress immediately asked if there were any allergies, which a lot of restaurants don't even ask that question, so I was pleasantly surprised. The drinks came out very fast and the pizzas came out at a reasonable time as well. The Stracciatella Got Her Groove Back pizza is on the spicier side because of the jalapeños and pepperoni, however the cheese mellows it out which made for the perfect spice ratio. The ALL CAPS pizza was my favorite. The black truffle on it wasn't too overwhelming, but just the right amount and the mushrooms were perfectly cooked. Walking into the Wicker Park Parlor Pizza Bar, we were greeted by what seemed to be the manager. Very kind person. The restaurant is a very chill place to sit in. They have the large open windows, nicely sized tables, and a massive bar. Their outside seating is very cute as well. The food is outstanding. By the time we ordered to the time we got the pizzas, was about 7 minutes. The pizza is made in the stone ovens, so you get that charcoal flavor in the mix. This location is in a very nice area, with shops, and other beautiful restaurants. The only thing I had trouble with, was their digital menu. It was glitchy and half way through ordering, we didn't know there was another menu page. Their hostess was not the kindest and inviting person, but that didn't detract us from the enjoyment of this establishment. read more
