One of the two women working there went out of her way to make a fresh batch of coffee which I really appreciated. The place has a very modern and European decor which I totally liked. The pastries looked fresh and appetizing although I didn't have one. Bronxville is a very tough town for a new business and there are already two established coffee shops there. This one is truly unique and totally hits a niche the others don't. I highly recommend it and will definitely return. The staff is welcoming and engaging.

And comparing Hair Saloon and my little reliable shop... the phrase I would use is you get what you pay for. The quality Brianna and Danielle exposed to me to is something I would never turn my back on now that I've had a taste of it. When I walked into the salon, which shares a little building with a nail salon next door, my nervous little self was greeted with warm smiles and welcomes. I was given a little tour of the cafe/bar side, and then the section where the actual magic begins. Seeing as how they've open during the height of COVID, they're still very infection control friendly! The chairs in the cutting/stying section are more than generously six feet apart, and the chairs by the washing station are separated by clear screens. 10/10 for cleanliness because you see these other businesses and since late 2021, you know hygiene has definitely been thrown out the window. You know you're dishing out a little more $ when there's massage chairs during the hair wash. In my head I was just wow'd because Chinatown could never lol. Brianna was great during the wash. One thing I have to commend them for is the communication step-by-step. She asked me my preferences in shampoo, and I usually opt for products that offer volume, so she introduced me to R&Co, which was pretty much *the* brand that was used on me throughout my appointment. I really appreciated how she explained the different types of shampoo they used and who would benefit from what. The shampoo, the hair serum, and hair spray I'm pretty sold on because I'm that person who's always looking for the next best thing when it comes to hair and face products. Now Danielle. You are the GOAT. Thank you for showing me what it's like to be well taken care of as a client. There is something in that customer service of yours that feels so warm and it's like, of course the business would be 5 stars on here! You're like the big sister of hair, telling me what works and what doesn't. While I was there planning to visit the Italian Art Gallery nearby, I came across Cold Spring Coffee House and saw that it had great reviews, so I figured it would be the perfect place to start my day. The coffee house is an easy walk from the Cold Spring train station, which makes it a great stop when spending the day exploring the town. Inside, the coffee house isn't overly decorated, but it has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. I wasn't a huge fan of how close together some of the tables were, but it was quiet enough to sit. They also have a few tables out front if you'd rather enjoy your coffee while taking in the charming street. But the real showstopper here is the pastry selection! With such a beautiful display of pastries, who needs extra decorations? There were so many tempting options that it was hard to choose, but I ultimately went with the Goat Cheese & Honey Danish and paired it with a medium coffee. Overall, I'm glad I added this stop to my Cold Spring adventure. I always enjoy spending time here, strolling through the town, popping into the different shops, and finding little spots like this along the way. The juice was delicious and was juiced then blended for the perfect velvety texture. It was super fresh, as evidenced by all the fruits and veggies washed and displayed in the deli case. The tacos are served with a piece of queso frito, a side of salsa verde, and a side of salsa roja. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the portion was generous. The salsas were very flavorful with great heat. I only wished the filling had a little more salt or a little more chorizo to give it the additional saltiness it needed. Overall, a good solid meal.
