Harvest Hen
Tomiko P.

Had lunch with my girlie here today and enjoyed it very much. It was busy and an announcement was made that it would be a 40 min wait for food but we waited about 20 mins with coffee order and food coming out which was perfect. Seating is limited but ppl are pretty considerate in not just sitting around. My daughter had the strawberry matcha latte with Oatmilk and warning it's not as creamy as one would want very traditional matcha tasting. I had a caramel latte with Oatmilk delicious. Our sandwiches were great the Classic Coop & Harvest Hen which we highly recommend.

Such a cute cafe. The staff is welcoming and laid back. The space is great. Nice and open across the street from the train station. They have a variety of treats. They all look so beautiful and their coffee is good!!

The ambiance is very cozy, laid back perfect fo families. The service is very quick and one of the girls who helped me pick pastries was really amazing and sweet. I got 1/2 cookie butter 1/2 carrot cake latte & my fiancé got mocha chocolate drip, both tasted good just wish there was a topping like cookie butter on top of my coffee or asked how sweet I wanted it. We got the feather & fig chicken sandwich it was good sweet & hearty tasting. For the pastries I got the Biscoff donut def must have, the tiramisu donut good, the cinnamon bun was ok prob won't get again & the blueberry muffin so good & moist. Overall would come here again.

Even in freezing weather I will go lengths to get an iced coffee, especially if it's at a brand new cafe that everyone has been raving about! I made it to Farm Cafe on New Years Day and was really looking forward to trying the tiramisu iced latte. When I arrived less than an hour before they closed (my fault) they were out of tiramisu but was recommended to try the cookie butter latte. It was definitely a good choice. I will be back to try the food! Note- if you're a fan of making coffee at home and have a sweet tooth, they do sell their in house made syrups!

This is the folks at shop, on a Sunday morning, great place

I'm a total sucker for a cutesy coffee shop, so obviously I had to try this place. It's new and in soft opening, so yes there are a few kinks, but patience, people. I went with my bestie and it was packed (not a single seat in sight). I ordered the cookie butter latte and it was so good that when they ran out of the banana latte, my friend got the same thing no regrets. We also tried the gluten-free banana bread, which was good. I'd definitely be back to try more from the menu.

I tried this place yesterday after seeing it all over social media and I actually really liked it. The staff was super nice, the inside is very clean and has chill vibes and lots of seating. I got a latte and an apple pie crumb muffin and couldn't say no to the chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was spectacular, the muffin was also good and huge. I loved the latte and would definitely return to try more!

Delicious food and impressively consistent every time--I can always count on my order tasting exactly the same in the best way. The dirty vanilla chai with oat milk and cold foam is amazing.

I was very excited for Farm Cafe to open. My first experience there left much to be desired. My main piece of advice is that the owner should be on the floor greeting. It's a new business and crazy crowded! Confused about where to order bc there was no clear line. Just people everywhere. Couldn't see the menu until I got close to the register. They were sold out of the cookie butter latte when I ordered. The owner never said hello to anyone or even smiled. In my opinion when you have a jam packed place of people waiting and you're a new business, you should be smiling and saying hello to everyone and thanking them for coming in and being patient. She also should have guided the lines for the registers. I ordered a "feather and fig" sandwich which was delicious. Overall I would go back again maybe in a few months hoping for a less crowded day. Also I would like to add that it has a Kerber's Farm (Long Island) feel but yet I saw no mention of what farm they source from.

Everything is amazing! The cinnamon buns are the best I've ever had. And the steak sandwich is phenomenal. I love this place.

Coffee tasted nice but there is no reason to be paying $11 for a simple drink. Very overpriced. Not $11 nice.

Great family restaurant! If you live nearby and your kid loves trains--whose doesn't--this is a…read moremust hit for you. Located near the Valhalla train station, from what I can see this was the old train station, along with a caboose they connected. It looks a of and authentic because it is old and authentic. My favorite is the bar, although my son doesn't let us sit there as he can't see the trains pass out the window. Service has been good every time I've been. Worth making a reservation if you're coming for a high traffic time (ie: Winter Wonderland) as they can pack out. In terms of food, it's basically a diner. I typically get a burger with fries and have done well that way. I typically get the Signature burger, which is solid and comes with a lot of frizzled onions. Chicken tenders, fries and all of the basics are good too. So are the drinks, with the beer menu being decent as well. That's not why you're here though: it's a family thing, and for that it's hard to do much better.

This review is for the breakfast at the cafeteria…read more Breakfast is more restricted than a McDonalds. It is 9:30 am to 11:00 am. The service is exactly like a McDonalds. I got there and waited while the staff and a customer were socializing and ignoring me. The standard 'we don't care and we want you to know it.' There is food that is prepackaged from other companies. I did not really look at it since I am here for the 2 Michelin star in house cooked food not something that can be purchased in a lot of places. I chose to get a golden raisin muffin because the scone had nuts in it. The muffin is $6.50 which is what you expect from fancy places. It tasted really delicious and much better than supermarket and bakery muffins. This was a nice once in a lifetime stop, but it is not somewhere to return. I understand it is a farm and has to be further removed from society, but the time constraints are too much. Also, there is no guarantee what will be served, and you need to be able and willing to eat anything.

The tour was so informative and intriguing to learn how all of the products are sourced on the land. I loved seeing the greenhouses and the variety of vegetables and surprisingly, a pineapple tree! (Who would've thought a pineapple tree grows in NY?) You can really tell that the workers have a passion for cultivating the land and producing high quality meals from it. Our lunch consisted of a pastrami-like sandwich, delicious gazpacho, salad, and cheesecake with berries on top. The meal came with a Spindrift drink. It was refreshing and filled us up. Next-door to the main cafeteria, still on the property, is a very swanky exclusive looking hall with a very classy bar. After our tour and lunch, we capped our visit with a drink each. Such a unique experience and I definitely recommend it for special occasions. (Please note this is a bit on the pricier side, but well worth it.) It's more than just a meal, and becomes a core memory!

But I could be wrong given I am normally on the New Haven Line). Anyway, this place has 5-star reviews across the bar which is how this ended up being the first option I could find on the Saw Mill. So went we did. You can find street parking right next to its building. This is a nice quaint little art shop, and there's plenty of things here you can buy if you just need that something extra in your life. It is a Filipino shop with plenty to check out if art shops are your thing. I personally get bored with them pretty easily if I'm not fully invested in what art places have to offer, but that's nothing against this place as that is just a personal preference. So what you see on my pictures here is what I had: the Ube cheesecake and the Ube Affogato. Believe it or not this is not my first experience with affogato as there used to be an affogato place on the way to/from work I would stop by for. It's ice cream and espresso, and let me tell you that if you haven't had a good affogato before, you're missing out! In fact, I even once met a cast of actual Netflix actors and actresses at that old affogato shop, and there was one person in the cast that remarked that I could have fit in right with the cast. So by getting the Ube affogato here, it was like taking a trip down memory lane. It WAS however my first experience with ube, so it was a taste of old times and new memories all-in-one. Both things I had were really delicious! If I have more Ube things in the future and they're this good, I might have a new contender for a new favorite flavor of food! The customer service was really nice too. The lady working there you can tell puts a lot of care into what she does. A nice little tidbit I like is that when I asked for a spoon for my cheesecake, she shared that Filipinos tend to eat cheesecake that way as well. I thought that was some really cool knowledge. And the ambiance is very homestyle that sometimes you can't tell it's actually a shop. This will make for a great morning stop if you're ever in the area. Maybe you could stop by here, kick it slow a bit before catching a train to NYC, or even Sleepy Hollow. This place gets both my thumbs way, WAY up!
