We had lunch here. We both had a lunch special. My wife had the shrimp with veggies and I had the Kung Pow chicken. Each came with soup, a crab puff, an egg roll and rice. We both started with the hot and sour soup. It was really good. The soup would have been great except the wood ear mushrooms hadn't been hydrated enough and were extremely tough. But the flavor was outstanding. My wife had 7 large shrimp on her order but she was unhappy with the veggies. They were undercooked and surprisingly tough. She had to ask for a knife to cut some of them. But she thought the side dishes were very good. I had a similar experience with my dish. The flavor was great but I had to push some veggies to the side as they beyond chewy. Again, my side dishes were great. The service was quick (maybe too quick to soften the veggies) and the price was reasonable. We're going to give it another try for sure. read more

I can only speak on behalf of pickup and their food. I got the sweet and sour chicken and what I enjoyed was the fact that the sauce was on the side rather the chicken being drenched in the sauce. Delicious! We placed a large order for take out. Everyone we came in contact with was so kind from the man that took the order to the several ladies that greeted us and checked us out. Beautifully decorated inside. The chicken lo mein was probably my favorite out of the several dishes we had. General Tso, was the second favorite. Two in our group ordered shrimp and both were thrilled with the amount of shrimp and the size. All portions were huge. Our new go to place, no doubt. Love love love this place !!! It's got a soothing atmosphere and relaxing ambiance. It's small and cozy and has comfy booths along with tables and what looked like possibly a bar area. I came here on my hour lunch break and was in and out with plenty of time to eat and breathe before going back into work. I was greeted with kindness and they were very attentive to me. For starters they brought out wonton chips and sweet sauce to dip, my favorite ! My lunch came with the entree of choice, a cup of soup, fried rice, a crab puff and a veggie egg roll for 10.95!! What a great price for all this food and for how delicious it was, I will definitely be back. The soup choices were egg drop or hot and sour. I chose hot and sour and it was so yummy and flavorful! Order food for pick up. Little confusing because name on Yelp is Tao but it's actually Dao. Getting past that everything we ordered was really good. A hidden gem for sure! My husband is always so skeptical about trying new Chinese restaurants because he's always disappointed...but he LOVED it here! Takeout seemed like a perfect idea! This little place was literally 4 minutes from a friend's house so we gave it a try via Doordash. It arrived in barely over 12 minutes (crazy for a weekend night) shrimp Lo Mein had good pieces of shrimp but the vegetables were a little sparse and the dish was a tad greasy but still very tasty. It was nice to see Chow Fun on the menu (flat rice noodle) with chicken, not all restaurants have it. Great pieces of vegetables and the chicken was moist, tender and delicious. Vegetable egg rolls were huge and jam packed, chicken egg rolls slightly smaller but good. Steamed pot stickers were delicious. In addition to fortune cookies they gave us a bag of honey banana won ton looking desserts. They were sticky and interesting but hey can't argue with free! read more

This is the best Chinese food I've had since moving to Phoenix 20 years ago. At a lot of places if you order something like Mongolian beef, they'll fill the platter with 99% vegetables then toss in some scrap of meat so they can legitimately call it "beef." This place doesn't skimp on the meat. The food also tastes less "junk-food like" because it is full of fresh vegetables that have not been overcooked until they are soggy. read more

I never ate oriental food growing up. I have chronic migraines caused by allergies that I have not tested yet, so I kinda ran my allergy list based off of "what looks, smells, or tastes like it'll give me a headache?". However, now I wished I had discovered I wasn't allergic years ago! My family has eaten here for years, they love the Kung Po Chicken! The chicken is crispy, veggies don't taste raw but aren't limp, and the spice level perfectly follows their 1-10 scale. I do not necessarily enjoy the crunch of a peanut in my meat, so I choose the General Tsu's chicken, which is simplified Kung Po. It contains chicken, carrot, and peppers that blend wonderfully with the sauce. Everything of course comes with white or brown rice which is wonderfully clumpy! All meals are easily two serving sizes, so with the average cost being $12, you get two $6 dinners! Their to go system is great, food is always hot by the time I get home. Last thing! They got a remodel and painted a beautiful peacock on the wall! I could stare at it all day, I love cool art! I have been and will continue to come back! read more

Only Asian food in the area and oh man is it GOOD!! The service is extra fast and well paced. Our appetizers came out within minutes of ordering and our food arrived right as we finished the apps. Everything was so good but the Mongolian beef was the absolute best. Hands down I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Also, when we arrived, there was one server and five other tables sat alongside us and yet he was so proficiently quick and got everyone taken care of. Always looking for a new Chinese restaurant, decided to drive the 20 minutes to try it. I think the owners told our order and delivered our food and they were extremely friendly and accommodating. Particularly like the section of the extensive menu that lets you select a combo with two different entrees with either white or fried rice. This allowed the two of use to try four different entrees to really get a feel on how they do with beef, chicken and pork. All were very good. Also tried the Hot & Sour soup with a uncommonly large "small" portion. I have my favorite at another restaurant, but this was a very close second, particularly spicy. Will definitely go back, and since my favorite Chinese restaurant has been sold and has been slipping, this could become my new favorite. read more
