I need 11 STARS to share what they just did for us. Love this business!!! Today was the second time I had Dapper Dogs come to our house for grooming. They did a beautiful job with our half golden retriever / half Bernese before the Holidays, so much so that we had them back and offered them the challenge of a lifetime. Our little rescue (whom we LOVE) is normally a trembling scared mess. She doesn't like new people and NO ONE can touch her feet -- not us, not the vets, no one. We have been to three different vets, who have tried to trim her nails and each time either turned away or given sedatives for her (which, by the way, didn't work either). She really is sweet, not aggressive, just scared. So unless she is really, really comfortable around you, no one gets close. Dapper Dogs said they were willing to try. They arrived early today, took their time with her and did what no vet (or other groomer) has been able to do -- they successfully trimmed nails on ALL four feet, gave her a bath, and she liked them. Even let them dry her off after the bath. Wow! I can't say enough nice things about this amazing young couple building their business. Fantastic service for humans and hounds alike. We had a great experience with John and Melody with Dapper Dogs! Our dog, Shadow, has been growing out his pandemic hairdo and was in desperate need of some grooming. I reached out to a groomer I've used in the past, but they were booked up for 3 weeks! I searched on Yelp and found Dapper Dogs and was a bit skeptical because of just one review. I reached out to them anyways and they were very responsive over text. They assured me that they had lots of experience and provided some other stellar references. They offered me a number of open time slots and they were available right for the following day! And they would come to my house! Amazing. Anyways, they came right on time, showed us the cool van they work in that they sanitize between every client. A few hours later, Shadow came back clean and dapper! They did a great job with his haircut and even brushed his teeth, expressed his glands, and cut and filed all his nails (even the pesky dew claw!). I would give this service 10 stars if I could! This is first time I have really felt good about the grooming that my Beagle, Petey was given. Beagles shed all year, but for some reason it seemed particularly bad this year. He was given a very THOROUGH BRUSHING (always a problem with other groomers), a hygiene cut, anal glad expression, his nails where trimmed nice and short (even the dew claw) and the fur between his paws was shaved. Often groomers "miss", or "forget" or "just don't do" the fur between the paws and the hygiene cut is often left out. Petey even got his teeth brushed and his teeth look great. Dapper dog left the toothbrush with me. John was very professional and the price was very reasonable. I am so happy to find a new groomer and I would give my 10 star recommendation that you call John if your dog needs grooming! read more

This is the first time that I have used Dapper Dogs as they were recommended by neighbors on the NextDoor app. John and Melody did such a spectacular job on both of my dogs who had baths, nail trims, their teeth brushed and glands expressed. John and Melody were very professional. Their van was clean and really nice inside. I could see their love for dogs right away when I handed my dogs off to them. They parked right by my driveway and completed the services on both dogs in an hour. Our first grooming appt. with this mobile groomer was a good experience. Our miniature schnauzer was transformed into a clean dog and her hairdo was suitable for her breed. However, Dapper Dogs has not replied to my phone message nor my email requesting a second grooming appt. When I called again, after waiting 7 days, I couldn't even leave a msg. because there were so many msgs. on their phone. Apparently, I'm not the only one who can't get a response. We had been sending our almost one-year-old labradoodle to a local grooming salon and every time she HATED it. We had to drag her out of the car and she could not get out of the place fast enough when we came to pick her up. We were told that most dogs hate grooming and being first-time dog owners we did not know any different. We were told that over time it would get better but the last time we took her not only was she there almost all day because they said she was "having a hard time" the cut looked horrible and uneven. We came across Dapper Dogs and figured they would be worth a try. They were AMAZING and exceeded our expectations. They did a wonderful job with our pup, were so friendly and nice to work with and the best part was seeing how much our dog loved them.
