My most recent experience has led to this review being 5 stars to 1 star. Unfortunately, my go-to groomer Alexandre is no longer working in the Bay Area which led to me booking with a groomer (Edilso) I am not familar with. To start, my appointment was pushed back by several hours, increasing throughout the day. Initially it was pushed back 1 hour which was fine but soon they informed me that my groomer will be several hours late (I believe it was 3). When I pushed back, the customer service rep did not take accountability and simply informed me that there was a new appointment booked before mine that was quite far from me. It seems they are trying to squeeze in as many appointments as possible leading to customer dissatisfaction and lack of accountability. Eventually they offered a small discount which is nothing to cover the time I will have spent waiting for my groomer. Now the groom, it was awful. It looks like Edilso rushed the haircut and shaved her down as well as her matting. Usually the matting is brushed out and taken care of but in this case, my dog was shaved down unevenly and the haircut looked nothing like the inspiration photos. The haircut was extremely short and uneven. Additionally, Edilso was not friendly and had a bad attitude. My dog seemed to fear him and wanted to get away from him the moment she saw me which indicated that she had a terrible experience. In my previous appointments, she would say goodbye to the groomer and have a friendly demeanor. I can't imagine what Edilso had done to her during the grooming. My dog has tons of anxiety and stress around getting groomed to begin with and seeing how she behaved around him was upsetting. Overall, Eagle Pet Grooming does not care about their clients or the dogs they work with. They're simply trying to squeeze in as many appointments as possible and rush the grooming disregarding the comfort and experience of your dog. There's another well rated mobile grooming company that I am now going to. I would steer clear of Eagle Pet Grooming if you want to prevent your dog from having a traumatizing experience. read more

I tried a mobile dog grooming service for the first time and always thought it was a luxury I couldn't afford, but with my XL Golden Retriever it's honestly hard to find affordable grooming anywhere. Sergio was Bailey's groomer and wow -- he completely exceeded my expectations. Bailey was long overdue for a professional grooming, and the before and after photos speak for themselves. Sergio originally estimated about 30 minutes, but it ended up taking closer to an hour and a half, which honestly reassured me because I could tell he was taking his time and paying attention to every detail. When I picked Bailey up, he even pointed out that he carefully removed one of the knots on her ear. It may seem small, but those extra touches made me feel truly valued as a client. Most importantly, not only am I happy with the results, but Bailey seems so happy too. Eagle Pet Grooming sent a groomer to my home unannounced to demand payment less than 48 hours after I raised a written complaint about the grooming service. I am disappointed to be writing this review because I had been a regular customer and had generally been happy with the convenience and quality. My dog has been groomed by Eagle Pet Grooming about seven times since February, and I had paid for all these prior services without issue. This week, my dog was groomed and, for the first time, received a sanitary trim that went far beyond what I expected or had ever seen from prior appointments. I had also requested bath only and was very specific not to cut my aussie's fur. The shaved area extended well beyond the private/sanitary area and visibly onto her backside and legs. I emailed Eagle the same evening and explained that I had specifically requested bathing only, and that there was now a large shaved circle around my dog's backside. Their response was dismissive. They replied that a sanitary trim or small butt-area shave is "a standard part of the bath package" and said that if I did not want it next time, I should let them know. They did not ask to see photos, did not offer to review whether the trim had gone too far, and did not make any meaningful effort to address the actual concern. Then, less than 48 hours later, while this complaint was still unresolved, the groomer showed up at my home unannounced and demanded payment. I immediately emailed Eagle and told them this was inappropriate and aggressive. I also told them not to come to my home again. On a phone call Nathalia expressed no concern or remorse for the invasion of my privacy at my home, and she simply stated that if I "didn't want to pay for their service, I shouldn't have booked it." Nathália followed up with an email focusing again on payment and stated they needed "trust, respect, and partnership" from clients. She asked me to make payment immediately and stated that the groomer was waiting for compensation.Missing again in this response was any concern that someone had come to my home unannounced to demand money from a repeat customer who had an open complaint. The grooming issue was disappointing, but the handling afterward was much worse. A customer's home should not be treated as a place to confront them over a disputed grooming bill, especially when the customer has already raised the issue in writing and has a history of paying for prior services. I will not use Eagle Pet Grooming again. I am happy to provide documentation of my payments in addition to these email screenshots of our correspondence. read more

I'm really torn writing this because our first experience with this mobile groomer was amazing--our cat, Kewpie, came back happy and energetic. Unfortunately, our most recent visit (February 1) was the complete opposite. Kewpie returned extremely stressed, "off," and physically injured. His eye began swelling, and I discovered his paw was bleeding because his nails had been cut much too short. He was hyperventilating through the night, and after consulting several vets, we had to take him to the vet the next day. To their credit, the team followed up quickly the next day, apologized, and promised to cover the vet bill. However, it has now been months and the bill still hasn't been settled. We had to follow up with the team every month and they had an excuse related to insurance so they couldn't reimburse us. Even though the bill was very reasonable ($90), they have stopped responding. We truly appreciated their service initially, but the lack of accountability for an injury that occurred in their care is disappointing. Cat owners please be careful with this business. read more

I previously left a positive review because the experience at first was really good, but after four subsequent groomings, I can tell you that the variability of the staff has been very frustrating. In particular their groomer did not speak English well and he didn't understand my requests. It seemed like he kind of guessed what I wanted and some things were right and other things were wrong. For example, my dog's tail was not touched at all so it's still completely long. I have to ask someone to groom just his tail now. Their customer service is slow. To make matters worse, the groomer did not return my dog's collar and leash. If you are considering this service, please be aware of this incident and ask detailed questions about their grooming process, safety protocols, and emergency procedures before leaving your pet in their care. Update in response to the owner's reply ================================== Thank you for your response. I want to respectfully address a few factual points for anyone reading this. I left my dog on the floor of the van at 1:05 PM. When I arrived at the van after the call at 1:15 PM, he was on the grooming table with no collar on. Your response states he was 'safely secured on the grooming table while the groomer was preparing materials' -- I'd like to understand how a 40+ kg dog moved from the floor to the table before grooming began. The first alert I received was a text message at 1:12 PM that read only 'I need help' -- with no indication of emergency.The call I received at 1:15 PM was not from the groomer but from someone at the business asking me to go to the truck. There was no sense of urgency in either communication. Regarding the collar, the whereabouts changed each time I asked. I am still without it. I would not use this company ever. Again. I've had my Dog groomed, many many times before and never had a problem. I actually loved their services until now tank. My Pomeranian was excited to get groomed or at least I was. He was not long into his grooming session when we got called out there to take a look at him that there was a problem. We went outside, and we found his eyes bleeding and bulged out. The Groomer told us he was just because the Dog was nervous from the grooming and keep in mind. Please. My Dog has been groomed many times before and never had a problem. I asked a friend who is in the animal World, and she said it's probably he was strangled either the leash was too tight on him or he fell off the table, and was strangled, causing his blood vessels in his eyes to pop, and his eyes to bulge.
