Also, sensative individuals could have gotten sick from it! You would think their bakers would try it first when they prepare mixture. I will definitely not going back again ever. Please be careful! We were offered another biscotti variety of our choice (chocolate chunk) as a free replacement. When we opened the replacement pack, two of the biscottis fell short: (1) one biscotti was half-size, not full size; (2) second biscotti was perhaps 2/3 in size, not full size. Don't they weigh the pack before it gets sealed? Apparently, they do not. And, the chocolate chunk coloration varied. We are concerned that the quality of the ingredients being used now falls short compared to what we experienced a year ago. How in the world can a biscotti having "anise" named in the flavor title have no anise taste at all! It's not worth spending $10. for their single-pack any longer when compared to less expensive Italian-made biscottis available at the grocer, even if their biscottis are larger in size.
