We went here to look at a Lexus hybrid and it was a really great experience. We were able to test drive the model we were interested in and the sales person was very helpful in giving us options on financing and leasing. He even let us know they'd be getting in a model in the color we preferred. We weren't 100% convinced and we were also looking at some other brands, but our salesman followed up without being overly pushy. Ultimately, we ended up purchasing a full EV from another brand rather than the hybrid we looked at but based on our experience, if you are interested in a Lexus, I would definitely recommend Darcars. read more

I have only been in for service twice since buying my Lexus, and both times were by far the best dealer experience I have ever had. My other car is an Audi, and I have owned BMWs and Toyotas in the past. None of those other dealerships can hold a candle to Darcars. It's always been my experience that once you've written that check and driven your new car away from the dealership, the service department never holds up to what it should. I didn't even buy my vehicle at Darcars, but was treated with respect and efficiency when I've been there. This last time, my advisor was Justin...nice, polite, timely with the service. I had questions for Emilio, the technology specialist, and he could not have been nicer either. He gave me his card and said to "call if I had any other questions." I'm not treated as a valued customer. Heck, not even as a person. Did their mothers teach them any manners? I'm flat out ignored. Total disregard for my presence when I walk into the service area for my scheduled service from the adjacent garage. This is not just a one-time situation either. I'm a long time customer. Nobody says hello. Nobody acknowledges that I'm there. Everyone in the area at a service counter has their head down while various others are walking in and out of the narrow space I'm standing/pacing and just pass me by. There's no logical place to stand or wait. There's no place to check in for the service appointment. Eventually after waiting for 5-10 minutes and being ignored, I usually approach someone at one of service counters, tell them that I have an appointment and ask 'where am I supposed to go?' And then I wait. And wait. The icing on the cake is when someone who's cruising through this narrow space asks 'are you being helped?' I say 'no'. They say 'someone will be right with you'. And they vanish never to be seen again. Forget anything you've seen in their marketing about how much they value customers and servicing their cars. I've had this experience enough times to say that none of it is true. And then there's the time when I had a dented exterior part that I'm fully capable of removing and snapping on myself. My wife and I recently visited the dealership to shop for a 2023 RX350 they had in stock and did not enjoy our experience. As soon as we walked in we were nicely greeted by reception but when the sales team saw us they pawned us off someone not on sales. I feel that they saw two young people and did not take us seriously as potential buyers. My wife and I both 29 years of age, offering all cash for the vehicle. The car buying experience was easy and simple. I was out of there in 1 hr. They honored the advertised price. The reason for the low rating. This area seems to only attract a certain type of customer. So when I walked in , I think they assumed I was supposed to look like someone else or something. Salesperson made it seem like I couldn't afford the car based on some of the comments. Once I established that I had a pre approved loan and I was paying half the car off their whole demeanor changed and quickly provided me the service I should have received upon entering the dealership. Awful service department. Was told my recall would take 1hr when I scheduled. Then they called to reschedule bc they didn't have the part. Found out it would take 3/4hrs. Dropped car off at noon. Called at 4p to confirm pickup so I didn't make a trip for nothing - turns out they didn't even take it in! No call. Nothing. Told them they need to bring it to me bc I don't have time to rearrange a ride which is difficult due to Covid. Friday- nothing Saturday I get a call they finished it and could bring it Monday btwn 7-8am. Monday - nothing. So I call at 10:30am, they have nobody to bring my car and no answer for me. After Rubino great my day and a heated exchange they finally got my car to me later that afternoon. Never again. read more

RUN FROM DARCARS- We found that they had a car we were interested in online & got in touch with them. We clearly communicated to our salesman VICTOR (formerly of Acura) that we were interested in a particular model and would make the OVER 1 HOUR trek to come and pick up the car if we could settle on price. Though we clearly agreed upon a price beforehand (and had it in writing), when we got there, AFTER they transferred our license plates, insurance and registration and had us spend hours getting this together/ test driving the new car etc- THEN they realized they had jumbled some numbers and demanded almost double what we had agreed upon. They made no effort to make this right despite acknowledging a mix-up and wasting our entire day. Never in our lives have we been treated so poorly at a car dealership and this was supposed to be a LEXUS dealership. This company is the EPITOME of why car salesmen have the reputation they do. The service department under inflated my tires, causing very premature wear. I even drove the car back to them, noting that the tire pressure light was on. They told me it was a false alarm due to the cold of winter, and as long as all the tires have the same pressure, everything was fine. I trusted them and drove my car like this for over a year. Last week, they told me that all my tires are worn out. I only have 14,000 miles on the car - far too early for every tire to wear out. They blame everything but themselves - maybe my alignment was off, maybe I drive crazy (insulting, but no), maybe I had a collision (hilarious, but no). So I go to a third party. They say the wear pattern is indicative of under inflated tires. He said my alignment is fine. He even showed me where the correct tire pressure is posted (car door) and that was 6 PSI higher than the pressure the Lexus service department inflated my tires. All four tires were at the same wrong pressure by Lexus. And when the third party replaced my tires and inflated them to the correct pressure, the "false alarm" tire light finally went off. I'll never trust this dealership again. Edit: Their "owner response" is all hot air. I already emailed the email address they provided days before posting this review. I purchased an expensive used vehicle ( just shy of 40k) from Darcars Lexus Mt. Disco. At the time of purchase, I was assured that the gas tank would be full. As it turns out, it was not. I was also issued a second key fob at time of purchase which turned out to be non working. When Sales Manager Stanley Passoni was informed of these issues he refused to take remedial action. I then contacted Akshay Mehta, the general manager of the dealership, by phone to complain. Since I live several hours away from the dealership, Mehta specifically and explicitly promised to send me a check for the gas saying "it's not a problem". That turned out to be a blatant lie. I never received a check for the gas. When the general manager of the company is dishonest, it is not surprising that others in the company are also lacking in integrity. Mehta then ignored my attempts to reconnect by refusing to respond to my repeated emails and multiple phone calls. I then posted an honest review of my experience online. Within a half hour, I was contacted by Passoni asking me to rescind the posting without ever suggesting, in any way, that the review contained any incorrect, false, or misleading information whatsoever. After several weeks of deception, excuses, delays, and puffing, Mehta finally agreed to send a check for the gas, the non-working key fob, and a few other services. Yet after several more weeks, still no check. It was only after warning Mehta of a suit in small claims court that a check was finally sent, but it did not include payment for the promised tank of gas. When I reached out to them for clarification, Passoni blocked my emails and Metha ignored them. Mehta and Passoni are not to be trusted despite their seemingly friendly and good-natured demeanor. Potential, well-intended, unsuspecting car shoppers beware and be warned of Darcars, particularly Sales Manager Stanley Passoni and General Manager Akshay Mehta, when considering an automotive purchase. If you have been treated unfairly by anyone at Darcars and they cease back-and-forth communications, you might consider posting an honest review online to get their attention and to alert other would-be victims of their behavior. I have been servicing my cars here for years and recently just had vehicles in for maintenance service. They are professional, use diagnostics to make sure things are running smoothly, as well as scheduled maintenance, and their rates are reasonable! This dealership and service center are my favorite. I Currently have a lease with them that is up very soon. I thought I would go in and check out my options. I was interested in a 2017 RX350 Fsport used lease. I had a bad experience with the salesman Harry Perez. I explained to harry that I didn't want my payment to be too much higher than my current payment. he comes back with a payment that was 130 dollars more. I told him if he could lower the payment by only 46 dollars more that we would have a deal. he tells me that in order to do that he would have to lower the price of the already overpriced car by 1700 and basically said he couldn't do it because the cars have been selling for the price advertised. Certified retail price according to NADA is 35k, he was trying to sell me the car for 41k. thats a 6 THOUSAND DOLLAR MARK UP! they have lost my business. read more
