My vehicle was delivered with most of the dash cluster settings screen locked. As I am in CT, I talked to two different local Honda dealers about resetting that. Both insisted they would need to do a full diagnostic on the vehicle that could take at least an hour and possibly more at over $200 per hour rate. I contacted my salesperson; Alex and he gave be simple instructions that took less than two minutes. I am sure the local dealers knew that and were just trying to upsell. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Honda of Mount Kisco. When I returned my leased vehicle, I was explicitly told that nothing was owed on my account. Months later, I received a letter from the bank stating that I owed over $3,500, which had already begun damaging my credit. This came as a complete shock, as I relied on the information provided by the dealership at the time of lease return. After receiving the notice, I contacted the dealership numerous times. I was repeatedly told that they were working with the bank and that part of the balance would be taken care of. Unfortunately, after those assurances, communication stopped entirely. No one followed up with me, and no resolution was provided. I emailed the manager, Haris Deljanin, on April 6th of this year and never received a response. Daniel Salamanca, the sales manager, was in contact with me briefly but failed to follow through or return my calls as promised. As a result of misinformation and lack of accountability, my credit has been significantly impacted. This situation could have been avoided with accurate communication and proper follow-up. Instead, I was left to deal with the financial and credit consequences on my own. I expected professionalism and transparency from a dealership representing the Honda brand. THESE GUYS ALMOST KILLED US! Our brakes were not attached on the front wheel. Heard a banging noise and luckily got to a dealership out of town who showed us that THE BOLT THAT HOLDS THE BRAKES TO THE CAR WAS MISSING ENTIRELY. They couldn't believe how the work was done and told us that we avoided a very very bad situation. In addition, their inspection report showed our car to be completely fine with no red flags other than that issue, while MTK Honda gave us a fake report littered with items that required thousands to be fixed. Contacting them about this issue has gone nowhere. They charged us over $3K for this latest round of work - and we are now escalating both with honda corporate and with other legal avenues to pursue them for their gross negligence. They don't even realize the severity of this issue for them and their business. But they shortly will. Stay far away from this disgusting place! read more

I am just at a loss for words with how unbelievable the whole situation is. My wife hit a truck tire on the highway that was unavoidable for her. She brought the car in to get a new tire, and they sold us two new back tires and performed an alignment. All of which we paid for and assumed they got done. Three months later these brand-new tires are completely bald, and an outside mechanic was amazed we had not gotten into an accident yet. We bring the car back to Honda and they have the car the whole day to diagnose things. We called multiple times with no call backs and eventually just showed up. The car was sitting in the same spot where we dropped it off and they said they didn't get to it. It was over 10 hours there. They promised to look at it the next day and when they did, they said the alignment was way off and looks like it never got fixed. Now our trust in this place is lacking because they charged us for services they did not do and this was dangerous and could have led to an accident driving the car like this. They stated they fixed the issue now and it should be all fine. An electrical issue now arises with the dashboard and since our trust is broken, we decide to take it to a different dealership for evaluation. First thing they say while evaluating the car is the alignment is way off, even after giving Mt Kisco two chances to fix it already! Every time I call to talk to a manager, I get the same run around and they immediately say a manager is not available. They ask for my number, which I leave, and say someone will get back to me. They never call back. I am beyond frustrated. Bottom line this feels like fraudulent criminal activity. The communication is disrespectfully nonexistent. I have zero confidence in the service staff that they know how to repair cars. But worse is either their dishonest behavior or just their incompetence to get the job done right. Either way, save yourself the hassle and bring your car somewhere else because anywhere has got to be better than dealing with this. read more

BEWARE: Mount Kisco Honda will hit you with a 3% surcharge for not using cash, although they will NOT TELL YOU UPFRONT when you bring your vehicle for service. Yes, that's right: it doesn't matter if you use a debit card or a credit card, they will charge you 3% extra if you don't bring cash to pay. When I picked up my vehicle AFTER the service was done and it was too late to go elsewhere, that's when I heard about this extra money grab "convenience fee". There are small signs posted on the walls about it, but when you walk in and the agent processes your service requests, you don't scrutinize the postings on the walls - and the agent doesn't say a word about it upfront. Avoid their service department if you don't like being billed 3% extra for not using cash to pay. read more

Mt. Kisco Honda does not value your safety nor your time. Honda has done a fuel pump recall on our model for safety reasons. We get repeated emails about it but no dealer service centers have the part. We keep calling and they say "call back," "call back Wednesday," "call back Friday." We called at 8:30 as directed and were told the part is still not available. We changed tone and asked "How do we get this fixed? We have been calling for weeks." The woman who answered said to please hold and magically they had the part! We could come in by noon for it to be done same day. We asked if there were earlier appointments and were given a 10:30 slot. Great. We dropped everything, rearranged our day and drove out, arriving at 10:15. We were told it would be ready by the end of the day. We called twice to check and were told the same. Just before 4pm we were told it wouldn't happen today and would need to wait until tomorrow. We do not live in Mt. Kisco. We explained this at the start. A shrug. They could care less. We ask to speak to a manager and unsurprisingly there is no one monitoring the shop--there's nothing to monitor if you are not doing anything, right? We are told the manager will be in on Saturday. When we got another courtesy lift from a family member they were unapologetic at the dealership. "We know" as in we know we just wasted your day. They have no loaner cars, no solutions and no intention of providing any service. Honda knows there is an issue with their cars and is not supplying corrective parts. When the parts are available, Mt. Kisco Honda refuses to service them. God forbid something happens to this car, it will be on their conscience for refusing to do their job. Hi Everyone, This review is going to be lengthy, but I need to explain what my "no heat issue" was in all its glory. I currently (still) own a Honda 2008 CRV. Approximately 3 weeks ago (Sat - Dec 13, 2025), I had no heat, engine temperature gauge indicating extreme HOT and smoke was emanating from the hood. I literally live 8 minutes from the Mt Kisco Honda dealership/service and was driving here in town when this took place and drove directly to Mt Kisco Honda. I was helped by Yvonne, service advisor, leaving the CRV for diagnostic review to inform me of the problem(s), the cost and was also given a loaner car (which was a new 2025 Honda Accord). Yvonne contacted me shortly afterwards first advising me that I was extremely fortunate that the engine didn't seize as there was NOT a drop of coolant in my vehicle also letting me know that I needed a new thermostat, a new coolant hose and both Yvonne and the service technician discussed repairing another hose as opposed to having that hose replaced as the cost would have been astronomical . Yvonne told me the repair/replacement cost and that I would receive a text message with that information and I responded with approval for repair and cost. The repairs/replacements were done within a day! I was so happy to receive my vehicle back although truth be told, I did not want to give up the loaner too readily as I was enjoying the heated seat but alas I did. Now here's the kicker, on Thurs - Dec 31, 2025...New Year's Eve day, I was driving to Mamaroneck to pick up a special order from a craft vendor and on my way back home experienced again no heat and the engine temperature gauge was about 5 clicks away from the extreme HOT and just about 15 minutes from home the heat temporarily came on and as I was about to pull into my parking space, the engine gauge was now indicating extreme HOT. I pulled into my parking space and went into my apartment and immediately called Honda and spoke with Yvonne and informed her of my situation; this took place around 4 pm on Thurs - Dec 31st, New Year's Eve day. She told me to hold on while she spoke with the technician that initially took care of the first repairs and they advised me NOT to drive the vehicle to Honda as the engine may seize. They suggested I have the CRV towed to them and Yvonne asked if I had AAA coverage, I told her no but I did have coverage with my auto insurance. I told her I would call her back and let how know the outcome. I tried calling my insurance broker but of course it was late in the day on New Year's Eve...no answer. I tried calling twice then I called Yvonne back and told her to let's wait until Friday, Jan 2nd...she said OK. I tried calling my insurance broker again but I think the office was closed Friday Jan 2nd as well and I tried calling the insurance carrier too but was on hold for an hour; I think they too were closed for the extended holiday. So I called Yvonne to let her know I had no luck contacting insurance broker and carrier and made this suggestion....Yvonne it has been 3 weeks since the repair/replacement and obviously there is a leak; however, if we put coolant in the vehicle I'm sure it will make it to Honda since I'm only 8 minutes away; she said let me talk to my service manager and I will call you back. Yvonne called me back letting me know the Service Manager Bill will be coming to me himself to put coolant in my vehicle and have it driven back to Honda, I thanked her profusely; Bill came with another service employee Joseph...Bill put the coolant in my vehicle and Joseph drove my CRV back to Honda while Bill drove their car back to Honda. I called Honda 15 minutes later to make sure Bill and Joseph arrived safely back to the shop....thank heavens they did. It turns out a completely different hose had ruptured and needed replacement. Yvonne was able to find a replacement hose that would not put me in the poor house....ok, I think it's time for me to look at new CRV's. Needless to say, Yvonne and Bill were exceptionally thoughtful, understanding and caring for my stressful situation and eliminated the stress....completely. They went "above and beyond the call of duty". I am exceedingly grateful for their professionalism; they were truly amazing! I extend my heartfelt gratitude to them both. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I went in for a check engine light and a fuel pump recall. I was informed that the check engine light was due to a bad fuel injector. I needed that replaced a a fuel system flush immediately. Had the work done but it turns out that part was covered under extended warranty by Honda and I should not have had to pay a dollar. When I called my service advisor to inform her she spent ten minutes trying to convince me that I was wrong then left me on hold for 30 mins while she talked to her manager. Finally she told me he would have to call me in a little while. Finally heard back from him the following Monday when he told me I was correct and I would be issued a full refund. 3 WEEKS LATER AND NO REFUND!!! I have called there multiple times and am unable to reach either the manager or my service advisor or any manager at all. Joe Marrazino, was my Sales consultant. He was patience and helpful from beginning to the end. Spent a great deal of time with me and overall just had a great attitude and vibe. Throughout the negotiation Joe interacted with Jason Sanchez(Sales Manager) who also was instrumental in helping me into the right car for a fair price. Lastly, Jorge Avendano the finance manager, assisted me with my paperwork and financing. It was quick and and only took minutes. When he offered me the options of additional coverage for the vehicle there was no pressure. They have had my car for six weeks now after my car started shifting into neutral, on its own, while driving on the Saw Mill Parkway with my family. Now, another investigation into their cars. There have been so many! The service department and American Honda have done nothing to help and said they don't know why that happened (even after finding tonsss of things on the diagnostics, and told me I needed to pick up my car (without any repairs). When asked if they would get into that car, knowing that it hasn't been fixed, they say "I can't answer that". Not the company you want to trust with the safety of yourselves and your family. I have been coming to Mount Kisco Honda for years. I have always loved their customer service and honesty. Today, was awful. I explained my reason for bringing my car in today and apparently no one listened. After an hour and a half they tell me all is fine with my car. I tell them to look again as apparently they didn't hear me the first time and they find the problem. I have now been sitting here for 3 hours. I am so frustrated and will now be going to a different Honda dealership for service. Other customers have come and gone over and over while I'm sitting here. When I ask how long as I need to leave, they keep telling me 20 minutes. I am a very patient person but this is unacceptable. So disappointing. read more

What can I say? The 2017 Accord Touring was gorgeous...a test drive at 11 AM proved perfect. I was trading in a 2014 and was with my girlfriend who helped me by spotting the car at the Mt. Kisco dealership a few days earlier. We first met with Adam, an agreeable young guy who was the initial contact. Then we were given Nick, who kinda took over the transaction. Over a pretty grueling three hour period basically waiting at Adam's desk, a credit check was run...my good credit score gave me a GREAT rate, one that I was ready to employ. Why it took three hours I have no idea. And after that wait, bad news...(at least that's what we were led to believe.) You see, I bought my previous car (the trade in) in CT, a state where the bank keeps the physical lien....but my car was registered in NY after moving back a few years ago. it seemed like this really shouldn't have been a problem, given the close proximity of the two states. It must happen all the time...But the sale had to be stopped, according to Nick, who painted a very difficult and complicated picture involving my having to go to the NY DMV, get a Lien transfer that would take several days, during which time the dealer would hold the car. This didn't seem right. I called my bank, the lienholder...a very large national company. The service rep listened incredulously..."That's just wrong...there should be no problem...that situation happens all the time." So we left Mt. Kisco Honda...after a stupid 3 hour wait, without a car and with a very bad taste...it just didn't seem right, and it wasn't. Here's why: Luckily, previous to Mt. Kisco, I had seen another car at a nearby NY Honda dealer that was equally attractive to me. Leaving Mt. Kisco thinking I'd have to jump through hoops, I called the other dealer and asked him about the lien issue,,,but it WASN'T an issue. "What? That's no problem whatsoever! We have out of state liens all the time! Your car is still available...come on down and lets see what numbers we can do." WIthin 30 minutes, I had bought the car. the deal was agreed on, signed and I picked up the car the next workday. Mt. Kisco lost a sale...Why? Today (the day after the sale) we called to talk to the manager of Mt. Kisco, to discuss the situation as the car was still being held for me. He did not return our call, (another example of shoddy, unprofessional service and behavior.) There was no "misunderstanding", no "confusion", just lazy, inadequate follow-through and lack of motivation and consideration. Never again. Go ahead, Mt. Kisco...explain why I couldn't buy a car because the lien was issued in a neighbor state. You lost a solid sale...what kind of outfit are you? Let the buyer beware...you guys are really something...and that's not a good thing. Recently purchased a 2021 Accord Sport 2.0 at Mt Kisco Honda, and thought I'd give their service department a try. I did receive a few free oil changes so might as well use them. ToniAnn Delano greeted me and got me checked in and informed me that it wouldn't take long for an oil change and tire rotation for my car. I decided to dodge the customer area and just walk around outside and eyeball Acuras and Hondas on the lot. True to her word, Toni's estimate was right - I see my wheels rolling out and parked at the service door.  I head on in, where Tony goes over the paperwork and highlights all the checks that were done.   All set, I head to the door.   She's a gem. Wait - wheres the car Toni? "Oh they just took it to get washed." But  - its sparkling clean? - it was detailed yesterday? I see the car wash area, and walk on over to see just what's being done with my new car ( neverrrrrrrrr been in a car wash). One of the service reception staff is just pulling it out of the wash, and two other guys are there ( Wash Repair Men I think) and pointing to the side of the car saying "oh that's horrible - go put it back in and wash it again"  So there it goes back in for a second was cycle.   Finally, the staffer pulls it out of the bay, drives it over to the service dept door, dripping wet and indicates it clean so here ya go - and take care. Now I'm wondering - what are they cleaning my car for exactly??  One look and I see it - grease.   Grease on the hood, the mirror, the fender, the door, and the drivers' window.   The car wash did nothing to remove it.  I almost pulled out and left but instead, I walked back into the Service Department entrance and asked " Do you guys have any window cleaner and a rag I can use please?"  Right there on his desk, in plain view, was the cleaner and a rag, and he didnt even use it - I had to remove the grease myself right there in the lot while he and others watched.  I really shot him a look when I returned the cleaner. I was thinking in my head " Really bro? You knew that grease was there, it didnt come off and you still handed me the car greasy and dripping wet?"  UGH. Needless to say, but on a brand new car - this was pretty annoying as it really reflected a "we don't give a crap about the mess from the shop and we certainly dont want to put in any effort to clean it up. " I did call ToriAnn later in the day to say thank you to her for her great work , but look - I'm TRYING to like Mt Kisco Honda - but so far - the car purchase was $2K over sticker, sold to me by the grumpiest saleman I have ever met, and upon delivery, a nice scratch in the door was noticed the morning after I drove it home in the dark. Mt Kisco sales denied everything about the scratch - I was floored. Now  - The service Department is proving to be equally challenging! How sad. Please know that I'm not just some bitchy ass customer who loves to complain and has an axe to grind.  I'm not THAT guy really!   But Management at Mt Kisco Honda - this is for you - your entire place - from Sales to Service - is reflecting a really noticeable level of indifference and its NOT helping with Customer Satisfaction. No No, Because every time I take my car in for a recall to Mount Kisco Honda, the technicians Working on my car screw something up in it and then try to say that it was there!? Sorry I reported them and I did not pay for the damage that they did to my car they fixed it I will not be going back to them ever again.And the nasty it's all different staff at this particular location. I had so much confidence before coming here and bringing my car I take very good care of my car as I'm meticulous because I like to run them till they can't run anymore I had a 96 Honda accord but I always had maintenance at the Honda in Rockland county until up in 2013 when it finally went I donated it and then I bought a 2013 Honda accord, that hardly has any mileage on it so to bring it in for a recall and then have them tell me that there's all these things wrong with it BS I made very sure that they replaced and fixed everything that the damage without charging me. I went in yesterday to have them check a tire...ends up I had a nail in it and another tire was low and needed replacing, no big deal...:they had my car for 4 hours! Since when did replacing 2 tires take 4 hours?! I went because i obviously can't drive on a tire that's slowly deflating in between jobs, and just because this isn't my normal dealer doesn't excuse this! I will not be using these people again! I'd give no stars but that's not an option! But apparently a one star review of this place isn't acceptable when they didn't tell how they didn't have your item in stock and you had to wait and wonder for 4 hours what was going on with your car! Apparently getting a ride back to work makes everything better! Not to mention I was almost late for my full time job! Never again Mount Kisco Honda! read more

Peter was incredibly knowledgeable responsive and helpful. We put deposit on it and drove away on Monday with it. Quick process and explained the car and options with us. I generally don't leave reviews, but these guys earned it. I bought a used Honda accord from Mt. Kisco. I was coming from out of state, so it was quite a trip to go pick up the car, and I was driving out based on online photos and conversations alone. Needless to say I was nervous about a bait-and-switch. However the team at Mt. Kisco, particularly Brian Galper, were consummate professionals. The car was in great shape, and even better than I expected. They did a fantastic job of getting it ready for me, and the purchase process was smooth and transparent - everyone throughout the process was helpful. It's been a few weeks, and the car is awesome. I always buy used cars (personally don't like buying brand new, as I think you get more bang for the buck with a recently used car) - and this was the best buying experience I've had over 4 car purchases. Some of the negative reviews truly have me shocked. As a result, I feel the need to share my experience with you. (Before you continue reading, please note that this is from me purchasing my Honda Civic a few years ago at this dealership.) I was in the market for new car and was dreading the idea of having to deal with a car salesperson as my previous experience of purchasing a car was a nightmare but this dealership had me pleasantly surprised. While discussing the options for the car, I kept 3 numbers in mind - the MSRP, the true market value and the invoice. After making it clear that I wanted to purchase the car and trade my previous car in, we came to an agreement that I felt very happy with. Not happy with their receptionist in service area and no follow up after I dropped my car off for service. She was very confusing in explaining the diagnostic procedures. It just gave me a worrisome feeling overall. The other staff were friendly in greeting and pick up and drop off. I've experienced better service at New Rochelle Honda and Yonkers Honda.
