On my second visit, I had acutely hurt my ankle during a intensive workout. In mid stance and terminal stance of walking (when my foot is on the ground) I had pain up to 6/10, and in active ankle dorsiflexion and plantar flexion (bending and pointing the ankle) was 4/10 pain. After she worked on my ankle, the pain was gone during walking and in closed kinetic chain gym exercises, while moving my ankle to end ranges in open chain went from 4/10 to 1/10 pain. Her touch is very soft but precise. Interpersonally, Sloane is an excellent active listener and knows how to make you feel very comfortable with her soothing tone of voice and expertise.
