A pretty fun club! I went here on two different occasions, once on a Friday night and another on a Saturday night. I went with my friend and my boyfriend and we had a pretty great time. We noticed that on Fridays there's more of a younger crowd, while on Saturday there were more older people, like maybe around 40+ kind of crowd. It was an interesting mix. Cover charge is $20 and you can pay with card, Apple Pay, or cash. Coat check is $5 in cash. I would keep in mind that some of the clubs in the area are owned by the same company and they have the same security company working for them. There are lots of reviews here warning others of security profiling them or kicking them out for no reason. I would be cautious around the security since they like to have a power trip- I experienced something similar at Faces before. They're cop rejects and are aggressive towards sober POC. That being said, I didn't encounter anything like that here, but I would just be careful. There's 4 dance areas, if you count the outdoor entrance as one. In the left club areas they play Latin music, and to the right they play R&B, hip hop etc. We ordered 3 drinks that totaled up to $28, not a bad price for a club. I like the atmosphere here, I feel like it's gone downhill since I went here 10 years ago. A lot of creepy old guys lurking around basically praying on the youth. I like how they have three different music genres so if you got bored of one area, you could move to a different section. I enjoy the hip-hop section the most that's just my preference. The drinks are really good and I feel like the price is decent. But the cover charge isn't worth getting harassed by old gross men. I was giving my sisters ice. I didn't know it was illegal to give them ice. My first time experiencing a club and it was not it. They didn't show us evidence of giving them alcohol and just kick us out. We asked for visual evidence. I would have liked visual evidence. When out with friends I feel safe and security is always watchful and friendly. Came here for the tacos and margaritas bar crawl and had an awesome time! Purchased VIP so we got in an hour earlier had some fresh made tacos, all seven of us tore it up! Also had some delicious margaritas both in classic and mango! After the two free ones the prices were still reasonable and sneeky lol. Both the bartenders inside and out were awesome including the bouncer who was checking on id's. The staff has always been extremely helpful and friendly and on top of their game. OMG, why was my first visit just last week?! Why haven't I been here before? Like honestly. Mango's Sacramento is so much fun! If you're looking for a good time, but not a long time - then Mango's is the place for you. The first Thursdays of every month they host Drag Bingo. The buy in is only $20. You basically get 5 bingo cards and they have mini games in between. It's a good 2 hour fun night. I would highly recommend this for date night or a night out with friends. The drinks are decent and the space is nice with a combination of indoor and outdoor space. The bartenders are nice here too. Try the Mango's Margarita, it's nice and stiff. The security guards abuse their privileges cause they some sorry lame guys that can't do anything else so they feel like they got power when they can pick and choose who to kick out the line, the guy let me through and didn't say anything but he saw my friend wearing the same shirt as me, told him he can't go in....there's no way he was doing that cause of the dress code. Let's start by saying it's spacious! I came here for an event! The Bartenders Ball! Yes! This where if your a bartender you get the whole night to indulge, have fun and not make one single drink that night!!!! Okay so they have a huge outside when you first enter that has a nice setup with tables. Then there is a bar outside so you can grab a cocktail right away! Next you have to ability to go left or right! My friends and I started to the left. Inside was a fantastic bar with a huge dance floor and some around seating! It was so fun in here! This side played techno and house music. They have videos playing in the background on a huge Screen. Also they had servers that were super nice and attentive walking around with trays a food! I felt like a Queen! We were offered a few things that I saw. Buffalo Cauliflower delicious it had bleu cheese crumbles with a fresh green garnish of some sort! Carnitas Tacos! Whattt! How did I get so lucky my favorite. Unfortunately they weren't my favorite. Just okay! I also spied a burger and fries way to heavy for me so didn't try it! Next we went to the right! Talk about change of scenery ! This side was a bit more crowded. As it had R&B and Hip hip playing! Yesssss! This side also had VIP seating and tables setup for lounging! I absolutely love this place. This was my first time here and we had a great time. I love all the options of dance floors. I really don't understand why they have bad reviews. Staff were all great. One of the heating patio things had a metal pice that got loose. It caught my toe. I let a bouncer know he took care of it and made sure I wasn't hurt. They even have tacos here after the night ends you can eat. The only thing I hated was the long line in the ladies room on the Spanish dance floor. There is only one stall for the ladies room which is crazy. The cover was $15 each but honestly they have music in 4 rooms and a patio so well worth it. You should have free water available to people like most night clubs do. It's $2.75 for a bottle of water. I'd rather buy a drink.
