It feels much more like a neighborhood dive bar than a restaurant, with multiple TVs, loud music, constant chatter, and live entertainment outside all competing at once. If you're looking for a lively sports bar where you can watch a game, have a drink, and socialize, this may be exactly what you're after. I prefer a quieter, more relaxed dining experience, so it simply wasn't a good fit. The restaurant also has a dog-friendly patio, which many people enjoy, though it's not something I personally look for when dining out. Overall, I think Norton's has a loyal local following, and I can understand why some people enjoy the casual bar atmosphere. Agree with my wife the jambalaya was great but the red beans were not very tender and when I asked for sugar for the beans (it's a real thing) they brought out three varieties of fake sugar and no real ones. Think we got pecan pie and bread pudding for dessert and both were good. Would definitely come back.

So after winning the gift card, I decided to stop in and I had the mango habanero wings! They were fantastic!! There were several old timers in there and I had fantastic conversation also. Mary, the bartender was very sweet and on top of her game. So I paid with my gift card and they tell me that the gift card was issued in 2023 but they were gonna honor it since I was a big winner. They didn't have to do that but they did and I'm glad! I will be returning for more wings and fantastic conversation.
