One of the worst doctors and office staff! They messed up on both tests for my son; then called me advising me that we must go to their office on that day for the MRI results. Of course I freaked out; usually doctors who make such demands is not good news. Why the urgency? this doctor could not come up with any conclusion so he wanted to schedule an hearing test and refer us to someone else!!!! Seriously?! And don't ask questions to that doctor, he has a huge chip on his shoulders and will not answer them. The only thing he seems to care about was to just create more unnecessary appointments (probably to make more money) and not show any care for my son's quality of life. So sad! WARNING: DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR FOR YOUR CHILD !!!!! My grandson had a corn kernel in his ear; went to the ER, but the ER doctor, could not get the kernel out and recommended he see an ENT right away (as the kernel was now pushed further into the canal and the canal was all inflamed). My daughter couldn't get him in to see his primary doctor for an ENT referral, so I made a few phone calls and was able to get in to see this dr. I was grateful to the front office gal, who was so nice and pleasant and accommodating on the phone, she was able to get us in right away as a CASH visit. I did ask, if this dr. accepted children. This dr. had the nerve to say that my grandson was giving him a headache and had a full afternoon - EXCUSE ME, you idiot we are paying you CASH for this visit and my grandson deserves to have your equal quality TIME and PATIENCE !! He threw down his ear instruments and said, "we need to put him to sleep to proceed". It will be a cold day in hell, before you lay one finger on my grandson. Yes he was crying and being uncooperative, but he was scared AND YOU WERE NOT MAKING THIS EASY WITH YOUR BAD ATTITUDE !!! I told the office gal, we would never be back, that this was the worse experience ever, so don't bother scheduling the surgery !!! Waste of time and money - which both can not get back. This dr. can only handle senior citizens, which seemed to be the only type of patients waiting in the lobby. Nothing against seniors, as they were sweet with my grandson. THIS DR. Dr Rheurark is a nice doctor. He is kind and polite. He has helped me so much. I have been a patient for many years now. I have had 2 different surgeries to help correct some of the problems. He explains things pretty well and is easy to talk to. If it wasn't for him recommending Neil meds I don't know how I would have survived. I have trouble breathing and this treatment relieves some of the problem.And my passages are narrow. I get clogged up very easily. I can't understand these nasty reviews. They just couldn't be true. Bottom line is he does whatever he can to help you. He suggests different things. So I have to go in every so often and he scopes my nose and then I breathe better. For over a year i had an awful, painful, itching, ear infection. I was seeing a local ENT dr who absolutely gave me zero relief during that year. I was literally in tears in his office due to the pain. I paid this dr over $300 in copays for nothing. FINALLY!! I decided to go to another ENT found dr Rhueuek on yelp and close to my work. My first appointment meeting him. Hes very personable, easy to talk to and can easily ask questions. Anyways, he put some SUPER DUPER ANTIBIOTIC CREAME in my ear that worked a mircale and now with only 3 appointments with him. My ear infection has gone away, no more pain or itchiness. I even cancelled my last appt since im doing so well ;) I wish i went to him first instead of wasting so much time and money on another dr. Huge plus-there was almost little to no wait time seeing the dr on 2 of my appts. One of my appts i did have to wait 30 minutes due to squeezing in another pt who was in pain (completely understandable) I would give this dr 10 stars if yelp let you :) Thank you again Thank you again dr for getting my ear back to normal in record time!!!! I've had respiratory issues for some time and have been seeing Dr. Abe at South Bay Pulmonary for the past few years after contracting double pneumonia. I've sinus issues along with my breathing and he suggested I see Dr. Rheuark and I'm glad I did! After a complete exam he said my sinus' were blocked and suggested I have a Balloon Rhinoplasty which I had done and what a difference, I can breath through my nose again and no post nasal drip. I reviewed on another site, the first one I saw, but when I noticed this one and read it I felt obliged to comment here also. The "review' I saw here is so over the top negative, it is more a rant than review. I was referred to Dr. Rheuark by my regular doctor because of something that showed up in a routine blood test. Dr. R did additional, more specific testing and found a faulty parathyroid that required removal. At eighty years of age, I needed and was given a thorough, clear and precise explanation of the problem, related hazards of inaction, surgical procedures, and possible hazards of that, including the general anesthetic. On surgery day I was introduced to and discussed the procedure and his experience with the anesthesiologist. Dr. R. reviewed with me again how things would go, and then it was started. The only reason I spent the night in the hospital is that the operation was in the afternoon, otherwise I would have been sleeping at home that night. Dr. Rheurark came in the next morning to see how I felt and ask if I had any questions or comments. I had no questions and my only comment was that I couldn't believe I had had the operation. For those who don't know what the procedure for working on the thyroid glans, it requires cutting the throat. When friends learned about the operation and want to see the scar, I have to bend my head way back to expose my throat, and trace the place where the scar is with my finger because the Doctor made the incision along a natural wrinkle in my neck. Most people still had trouble finding it. Not bad - I had my throat cut from side to side. It didn't hurt during or after, and nobody can see it. I would say the lady who was so upset is thinking of some other doctor. read more

I can't say enough about Dr. Rheuark and his staff. Two of my daughters were unhappy with another local ENT. When I broke my nose one time too many, I found Dr. Rheuark. I brought one of my daughters with me. At our first visit, Dr. Rheuark spent quite a bit of time with my daughter and discussed some alternatives for her. He took one look at me and said I needed reconstructive surgery. Now, about six weeks after that first visit, I had that reconstructive surgery and my daughter had balloon sinuplasty. My other unhappy daughter is seeing him today. Dr. Rheuark has a wonderful sense of humor and spends a lot of time with people. I've had maybe five visits with him over my issues and have never felt rushed. I can't recommend him highly enough. read more

Couldn't possibly care less about the patient. Efficient at doing the least to get the most from insurance. No real examination. The office is setup to sell you skin products and procedures. A 15 minute google search will give you 20x the answers you'll get after months of being sent out for irrelevant tests and waiting to see him again. My son is a leukemia patient in remission, he was sick with stomach issues, bowel issues, and prolems sleeping every night... this went on for at least a year, we thought it was a result from all of his chemo and what he went through. After seeing many doctors who couldnt figure out what his stomach issues were, we saw Dr R. He diagnosed my 6 yr. old during the first visit, it was his tonsils! the following week we had the surgery done and my son has not had any of his issues again! Dr R really saved us! Our experience with him has been awesome and I'm so greatful to have found him! My son went from being sick every day, and after dinner each night to now being fine! No more sleepless nights! Not as good as it seems. My husband saw Dr Rheaurk in 2010 for sinus issues causing breathing problems. He performed a scope exam of the nostrils, had good bedside manners, and explained everything in plain English. Said all looked ok. NOT SO!! Breathing through nose issues continued, particularly while sleeping, so mush so lost sleep and deteriorated quality of life (unable to work full time). Sleep apnea dr suggested seeing ENT to clear any physical blockages before getting APAP machine. Since Dr Rheaurk cleared everything, saw a different ENT for "2nd opinion". Good thing!!! Diagnosed with deviated septum and narrow nasal passages (enlarged turbinates) during first visit using same nose scope process Dr. R used. Both require procedures to correct. Deviated septum is caused by nose injury or born with it. NO nose injuries since seeing Dr Rheaurk in 2010!!!! Upsetting he missed it. Quality of life during the past 7 years could have been much improved. Also, all insurance has changed and now procedures will cost over $1,000, was fully covered 7 years ago. Very frustrating and there is no recourse. He seemed like a thorough, knowledgeable dr. Get a 2nd opinion if you go to him and he clears you. Update: 2nd dr performed surgery (deviated septum and enlarged turbinate reduction). Breathing is improved and sleeping through the night without gasping for air. Would have been good if Dr Rheaurk would have realized the issues when he had trouble getting the scope up the nostril affected by deviated septum. Hopefully he is a better plastic surgeon than an ENT. read more

Dr Rheuark recently treated my daughter for a ruptured ear drum. He was very clear with his diagnosis and his treatment was successful and went exactly as we had hoped for. I really appreciate that he let me look into the microscope at each visit to see what was happening with her ear and clearly explained what was happening every step of the way. My daughter and I both appreciated his light hearted personality as well. read more

Dr. Rheuark was the ENR on-call doctor during my visit to Little Company of Mary Hospital. He clearly did not want to come into the hospital during the night to help me with my emergence condition. The hospital ER doctor did not know how to handle my case, as he admitted he never seen anything like my condition. Dr. Rheuark spoke to my husband over the phone and he gave him ridiculous advise for my condition. Rheuark was condescending and VERY unprofessional, he ultimately hung up on my husband. It's shameful too, that he probably got paid to be on-call and he did not do his job. read more

Dr Rheaurk is the best doctor ever. His receptionist Julie is so, sweet always attentive very compassionate & she will work you in & make things happen. She also ordered a CT Scan litterally I was booked right after I saw Dr Rheauark & was back to the office the same week for results. I was very concerned about my condition & his office made the whole process very comforting for me.
