A German restaurant that serves a variety of schnitzel dishes. It was busy while we were there, but we were waited on quickly. Our waiter was very attentive. We sat inside, but there is an enclosed patio as well. The food was fantastic. I didn't think I would enjoy it so much. The prices are on the higher end, but the food and service are excellent.

Went here Christmas Eve for Dad's bday dinner before church. Our group of 7 was seated in the party house next to the main building. LOVED the coziness and holiday decor. Wonderful atmosphere. It could seat several other largish parties, too. We all enjoyed our meals. I had the Deutsche Platte, basically a German sampler platter. If you are unsure what to order and eat meat, this is a great option. Only slight miss was that our server could have mentioned that my son's lamb shank would take 20 minutes. We were a bit time-limited; we also should have mentioned that to our server when we sat down. Not a big deal and we were enjoying our company.

Calamari was delicately fried to buttery perfection with a lemon creamy sauce. Chicken paprikash had big chunks of moist chicken and a wonderful sauce with a side of buttery soft spaetzle. The liver dumpling soup was wonderfully savory with two nice liver dumplings within. Lovely service and delicious hefeweizen too!

dry meat breaded, bits and pieces of small what looked like scraped bit off a pan, greasy and not good to eat. veggies smashed

Lets just say I liked it the last time i went there. What a happened? Two Chances, the first take out was wrong order drove back there took back and got the right order, but food not so good after all tonight, very disappointed they hung up on me when I called.

Das Schneitzal Haus is a favorite in Parma! Authentic food and atmosphere, you're sure to walk out with a full belly and great service. Their menu has changed recently, with less options, but it looks like they still have all their house specialities. The previous menu was a whole book, and I get overwhelmed when presented with too many options. Food- If you're a meat lover and want to try a variety of items, the Wurste Platte is for you! Honestly, it's enough for 2 people to share. It contains Bratwurst, Knockwurst and Hungarian Sausage. Served with 2 pierogies, caramelized onions and sauerkraut. Beer- Locally brewed and homemade! Goes great to wash down dinner!! Parking- it's hidden, but parking is also available in the rear of the restaurant!

I have been here a few times in as many years. I haven't had a bad experience at any visit. The waitress is always friendly. Some days are busier than others. And you have to expect longer service delays. But that's not a problem for good tasting food. This place is located on pearl road just north of snow road. It's in a very easy to get into and out location. I was told they have a brewery across the street. But I have never been to it.

Thursday, November 16, 2023 Das Schnitzel Haus tastes like childhood. From the food, to the drinks, to the atmosphere. Such comforting food. The sauerkraut is phenomenal. A MUST when you're in town.

This was visit the family had to do per our mother/wife. You approach the building and then walk inside and you can really feel the German pride at Das Schnitzel Haus. We go there a little after them opening and there already a good number folks in already. As time went on, it really started getting packed, which had you feeling that was bound to be really good. Ashley was our server. Very cheerful and was aware of dietary restrictions because the menu is not labeled but the kitchen can make adjustments for a few dishes. I selected the baked walleye, gluten free with no breading. A good sized filet of walleye and it was cooked so well with the spices and garlic butter. I really liked the green beans with the garlic flavor. The potato salad looks like au gratin potatoes but it doesn't have the taste. Definitely a bit of a shock to me. A had a little bit of it, my mom really loved it so she's getting the leftovers! My parents got their own wurst plattes. A bratwurst, knockwurst and a Hungarian sausage. Sizable links for sure. Really good and strong flavor on each. My brother got the burger with french fries (at a German restaurant, but whatever). It was well complemented with the cheese, German spice blend and toppings. One small negative was the patty size was much smaller than what we're accustomed to having. Overall, still good he said. Overall, really enjoyed my time there. It sure seemed like everyone else was too. Danke Schoen Das Schnitzel Haus!

The staff is friendly. The service was very slow. The portion size on one of the meals was not worth the price. They did have a nice menu selection.

It was my first visit to Das Schnitzel Haus. The food was spot on! Everything was quite good and authentic (we were just in Germany this summer). I had sauerbraten, spaetzle and German potato salad. I loved it all and was so happy to have leftovers. My son loved his kase schnitzel. My mom said the paprikash was excellent. We were seated in what seemed like is maybe a porch in the summer. So not in the main restaurant. It was quieter than the main restaurant but by the end of the evening we felt kind of isolated and a bit chilly. We arrived on time for our 6:45 reservation. We ordered by 7 and didn't get our meals until about 8 pm. I'm not certain why the delay. Not being in the main restaurant we couldn't tell if they were understaffed or overcrowded or if there was an issue. It did seem others who arrived after us left before us, so perhaps there was a glitch. We didn't get any appetizers. Their kolsch Beer was tasty. All in all we loved everything and the server was kind and helpful and efficient but the wait time (with no explanation) was a downer.

As a Yelp Elite for 11 years, I can say with confidence that the Yelp App saves lives. Ok maybe that's a bit much but I truly would be lost without it. I found my way to Cleveland to visit family and attend a concert. The trip was amazing up to that point and we wanted to end our trip on a high note. My sister was craving Chicken Paprikash, Pierogies, and Schnitzel. She was convinced there had to be a restaurant in the Cleveland area that could fit the bill. This is where the Yelp App comes in. I did a simple search for Chicken Paprikash and Das Schnitzel Haus came right up. Das Schnitzel Haus also carried a 4.2 Yelp rating. What more was there to think about? We hopped in the car and made our way to Pearl Road in the Parma part of Cleveland. We pulled into the parking lot and beheld the glowing yellow sign that let us know we were in the right place. Immediately upon entering the service was first rate. We were seated right away and there were waters on the table in less than a minute. Next thing you know we had an ice-cold pint of Helles in our hands. Life was good. The vibe of this place is awesome. Plates of Schnitzel were whizzing past me and aromas of brats and pierogies filled the air. We feasted like Royality in this place. We ordered up everything we had been craving! We got the Chicken Paprikash, Pierogies, and of course Das Schnitzel! The cook on Das Schnitzel was perfect. We left there feeling overfed and euphoric. I only wish I could go back but I live in Virginia. Danke schön Schnitzel Haus.

This was my first time trying German food so I had no idea what to expect. The perogies and German chocolate cake were exceptional. Rueben sandwich came with a hefty portion of green beans. The portions are large.

Full bar offering authentic German brews as well as domestic beers. Food was available for purchase. I had the Jambalaya over rice, spicy Cajun sausage with peppers and Cajun sauce (no shellfish). We enjoyed the various music and all had a good time, but one thing spoiled the fun. As a group who enjoys "good" beer, we always make a point of ordering whatever the German beer is on tap. Well holy leader-hosen, this year the Pitchers were $25.00 bucks. We were together until closing and Saturday was hot, so we probably went through 6 or 7 pitchers. At various times throughout our visit we would heard comments about the beer being over-priced. We heard even more comments about beer prices when standing in line. I must say no one DIS-agreed. While the food has to be prepared, set out, and served, beer just needs to be poured. No one minds paying more for a beer when they go out and we expect it, but we just felt $25 for a pitcher of beer was a bit of a ripoff. The domestic beer (LaBatts Light, really ?), wasn't much cheaper at $22 bucks a pitcher. Sorry, but our group agreed we probably won't be back next year.

We almost didn't come here bc it felt like too much of a schlep from where we were staying downtown…read morebut it was definitely worth the trek. It's really not that far I'm being dramatic it's like max 13 min from the center by car. Anyways it is literally the cutest place inside. Dimly lit by table-side antique sconces and Christmas lights in the bar with wooden booths and chairs. Very eclectic. This felt like a special place the minute we set foot inside. The beer menu is something else you not only wouldn't find in a typical restaurant but even for a beer place. Very Belgian German vibes. I didn't even get to the best part yet believe it or not. They are very vegan and vegetarian friendly. So many things on their menu can be made vegetarian or vegan. Like things I've never seen before like TOFU SCHNITZEL. Holy shit. But then you think about it and are like why have I never seen this before? It can't be that hard? They also have a meat free version of the allegedly local favorite sauerkraut balls which was an absolute must. There were just so many things we wanted it was hard to choose. Other than the balls, I was very interested in the vegan sausage and the Reuben (on literal potato pancakes) that can be made vegetarian or vegan without the corned beef but ultimately could not pass on the tofu schnitzel which came with a starchy side (I went with the spätzle obviously) and a veggie side (I went with the kraut.. obviously) and GF the Reuben with a side of fries. To take home for later, the spätzle appetizer and the pretzel. We also ordered beers, needless to say. I tried a cider that was incredible. One of the best ciders I've ever had. Everything was incredible. The kraut balls, actually spicy kraut balls per their menu, were so good. I was bummed there were only 4. I feel like there should be at least 6. I'll pay more. The dipping sauces were really good too. One was a curry ketchup type thing and the other was a cheese that was fabulous. Tofu schnitzel was breaded to perfection with a very crispy exterior. They used a nice, thic slab of tofu. Given the schnitzelness of it they probably could have gotten away with something thinner. They had a mushroom gravy which was nice for the vegans. The kraut was typical kraut. The spätzle slapped. I love those little pasta dumpling dough pieces. What a nice texture. GF's fries were salted perfectly and crisp. The pretzel was softer and lighter than usual. The cheese spätzle was better than sex, earth shattering ecstasy. So yeah it was pretty good.

Real old-school bar vibe. Really liked it. Lots of wood paneling and vintage stuff on the wall. Great German beer selection and I had a draft I never had before. Really good. Ordered 'build your own Schnitzel'. Picked the veal, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Had the veal topped with 'Oscar', crabmeat and asparagus. Delicious...veal was crispy and tender, sauerkraut had the right amount of bite and mashed potatoes were solid enough. Topped with paprika gravy. Food was very good. All in all a really good place. Food was great, service was fine, maybe a little cold and not particularly friendly, but good enough. I am new to neighborhood but this is the kind of place I could see myself coming to often.

The space itself is cozy and thoughtfully designed with elegant decor, and it has a really nice taphouse/tasting room feel. For food, we started with Branka's pretzel with everything seasoning, brown mustard, and their house-made beer cheese. It was delicious and a perfect shareable appetizer. My husband ordered the Reuben sandwich per the recommendation of our server. Now, stop imagining, because Krakus Polish Deli & Market in Boardman, Ohio, is that magical land, and it is the holy grail of pierogies, kielbasa, and all things Polish food-related. If you haven't been yet, your taste buds are straight-up missing out. First of all, let's talk pierogies, these little pockets of heaven are to die for. Like, not even exaggerating. I tried the classic cheese and potato ones, and I'm pretty sure I saw a light flash before my eyes. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, these pierogies are so good they should be illegal. But wait--there's more! They do weekly pierogi specials, and trust me, each week is a new flavor adventure you won't want to miss. The cabbage roll; Heavenly. The sausages... Let me tell you, if there's a better kielbasa on the planet, I don't know it. The market is like a treasure chest of authentic Polish foods, we're talking everything my Polish grandfather used to keep stashed around the house, like sauerkraut pickle jars (which I'm 100% sure he got directly from the motherland), obscure teas, crunchy wafers, and probably some mysterious cured meats you didn't even know you needed in your life. And then there's the prices. I don't know how they're doing it, but you could feed an entire village of hungry Babcias (grandmas) on a budget here. Incredible value, folks. But--here's the catch--the hours are... um, "quirky." Like, if you're planning to roll up for a late-night pierogi binge, you might want to double-check their hours because they close early. It's kind of like they really want you to enjoy the pierogies, but on their schedule. So, don't be that guy who rolls in at 7:15 pm and finds the door locked. Trust me, I've been that guy. So, check the hours, make sure you're ready to dive headfirst into some of the best Polish food you'll ever eat, and prepare to have your mind--and stomach--blown. Krakus is like stepping into your Polish grandma's kitchen, if your grandma was a magical food wizard who had a secret stash of pierogies she didn't share with anyone. GO HERE. Seriously. They stood on the benches more than they sat. The rating is the food and atmosphere combined. Food is about a 1.5 and atmosphere is a 5. Server came over and asked us about drinks. We asked a few questions on the menu. We decided on 2 potato soups and split the garden flat bread. It's was late and we didn't want to eat anything too heavy. The soup was different big chunks of potatoes and a few veggies. Topped with pretzel croutons. Best part. It was ok. Filling. Not hot at all. Hate when soup is like warm. Bring me hot soup! The flat bread was meh. 8 pieces with cream cheese base and a few smattered veggies. It was like that appetizer veggie pizza you get at house parties with biz quick pizza dough. But that is way better. This was a cracker with cream cheese that didn't cover the whole flat bread and a few veggies. Price was about $37 for 2 pops and 2 soups and flat bread. Seems high to me. But prices are $18 for most things and higher. Parking is difficult and mostly paid cuz you're downtown.Patio looks great for summer.
