Would rank the service 0 stars if I could! I turned in my laptop in Thursday to Ms. Patty (the owner) was told they'd give us a call of the diagnosis later that day, which I did not , and had to call them. They then told us Friday that they still haven't gotten to it (we only saw one other laptop other than ours when we turned it in) . Saturday, they called us to let us know they can fix it , in 2 hours , thank god!! But also let us know that the hinge on the laptop broke (which was not broken when we turned it in). Never got any call about my laptop being finished that day . Sunday they were closed. And today still no call so I went myself to retrieve my laptop. Hinge is literally completely broken, and they ( Derrick and Patty) expect me to still pay almost another $100 for them to fix what THEY broke. Not sure if they get bored there from not doing their jobs and start throwing the laptops around or as head rests while they're clearly not doing anything . I work in the service industry and understand how customers can be tedious so I have patience for workers but when the communication skills are terrible, service SUCKS, and no one wants to do their job, there are other companies that can take my money. read more

Derek is the hero today! After saying they wouldn't be able to resurrect my Lenovo, I agreed to purchase a refurbished unit in their shop. As Derek was attempting to transfer my data, he noticed something his coworker may have overlooked. He repaired what was misaligned inside (I don't speak computer), and my lil machine fired right up and is running like a champ! Saved my hundreds of dollars. I came in with a really complex issue. I had a hard drive get fried and connection issues with multiple components (SSD, USB) in my pc build after it had been working for a year. The diagnostics they did helped me narrow down the issue to being COU related. I replaced my CPU after they gave the computer back and it fixed everything. They could have supported my needs so much better for the money with a 30-minutes work and transferring some hardware / minor upgrades to replacement. I called ahead to ask if they had open appointments and the lady on the phone said they were free the rest of the day. I walked into the door and I'm greeted by the front desk lady waving a finger up to me to be quiet and not talk. So I sit down at the table and listen to her talking to a customer on the phone for 20 minutes. She already told them they needed to come in but then proceeds to explain a million things that she needs to do to fix the computer. I ended up leaving since I wasn't even talked to for 20 minutes. After using DataFast again because the hard drive crashed on my husband's laptop (because he dropped it!) I am changing my review to 5 stars. I don't give 5 stars lightly but I thought there was no possible way that we would be able to get the infomation of of that computer which included, our taxes and thousands of photos, among other important information. No, he did not have a backup! (He had to hear about that! Trust me!) Again, Stephen came to the rescue. It took a few days but he was able to recover all of our information with some special machine they have and put it back on the computer. Thanks DataFast! You saved all of my memories. We are a small business in Glendale, and were lucky enough to come across Patty and Michael Sicard and DataFast. We needed a whole new IT and phone setup in our office and they executed our needs in an efficient, effective, informative and very friendly manner. Michael got us a very fairly priced quote, then followed up as our Management made their decision among several choices. We chose DataFast as they are a local family owned business, and showed through the bidding process to be very responsive (important!) as well as helpful with assumptions and suggestions. Scott led the onsite install and even during busy work days for us was hardly noticeable by our staff as he completed the project. Almost like we'd been working with him for years. Going forward we are also going to continue to use DataFast for on call IT solutions, as their expertise has allowed us to do without an IT person onsite! I was disappointed in the service. I was told, over a period of 2-1/2 days, that a recovery program was being run and that most of what was on my computer was being "recovered." I got my computer home and (i) no programs were recovered; (ii) no pictures (of which I had many) were recovered; and (iii) very few documents were actually recovered and the ones which were recovered were duplicated over and over -- meaning there were four versions of each document, making it look like more were recovered). I paid $130 to get back a virtually empty computer. read more
