I had a leaky expansion tank. The gentleman came in and fixed it promptly. He was friendly and did a great job!

Very polite and timely. Was able to assess problem and help find a solution. Turns out the problem wasn't our plumbing.

didn't focus on solving problem in one visit. They want to make multiple trips out to your property so they can charge more.

The faucet was installed pretty badly at the beginning by our 1st contractor, who we fired them. After that we had an experienced plumber reinstalled the faucet and it had been working great since then. Anyway, recently we had a construction in our house and for some reason the problem showed up at this standing faucet again. Our contractor had 2 licensed plumbers came over to fix the it, but for somehow they made it worse. The water pressure at the faucet was very low for the hot water and after the 2nd plumber from our contractor worked on it, it got worse. Both hot and cold water got very low pressure and the standing faucet was wobbling badly. I got to ask my contractor to stop sending his guys to fix the faucet, and then I called about 5 plumbing companies to check on it. As the faucet was initially installed badly on the tile that was cut too big as the photo, and now the tile was hardly hold the faucet, the 4 plumbers who came over had quite different solutions. One said that he needed to remove all the tile in that section in order to installed new valves and I would need to call the tile guy to redo the tiles later. Then, another Plumber honestly told me that he had no idea how to fix it, but he would ask the other plumbers in the company. Well... Pretty much hopeless, I google and found Crow's plumbing service with an incredible reviews 4.9 stars from 2,066 reviews!!! I called the company and Karen, the lady on the phone, was polite, friendly, courtesy and understanding. She scheduled the technician to come over for the next day. The technician, Caleb, showed up on time. Although Caleb was pretty young, he was INCREDIBLE and Knowledgeable. He thoroughly checked on everything and he was the only plumber who double checked on water pressure and found out that our house had a water pressure issue with a proven. 3 years ago, we had an inspection during the buying process by Square House, but we got only the reported that said he couldn't located the valve!, no mentioned about water pressure issue. At that time, I asked our buyer agent more than one time what it meant to unable to locate the valve, and our agent said it was just there and no problem about that at all. In fact, that wasn't true. We needed the main water valve and PRV replaced since they were way too old and buried deeper and deeper over time until they were no longer usable. This costed us over $1,300 to replace both PRV and Main Valve that should have been reported and replaced since 3 years ago!Kar As well, Caleb found the way to fix our standing faucet without removing the whole tile section. He told us he could simply put bigger screws and the plates underneath, so it could help holding the standing faucet!! No any plumbers came to that solution. I am not over claim, but Caleb from Crow's is intelligent. He spent time explained all my questions and concerned. Now, everything was fixed and Caleb said they would be good for at least 10 years. Additionally, Crow's provides 2 year-warranty for their work!! So they really stand behind their jobs. Absolutely Recommended!! - Communication: Karen and Caleb is Excellent. - Cost: Maybe just a little bit high, but with the 2-year warranty, it isn't easy to find. - Very High Responsibility. Caring about our time and concerns. - Skilled and Professional. - Efficiency: Excellent. Caleb worked diligently even if he had just recovered from his illness. He still looked so pale. We really want him back to be in a great shape soon

We trusted him as he had been communicative up until the last payment, despite surplus charges that seemed inaccurate and pressure to pay installments ahead of time. He was a nice guy and we had spent a lot of time with him and felt like we got to know him personally, so we were willing to help him out as it seemed he was doing good work, alas on a strange and inconsistent schedule. To this day nearly 3 months later, we have not heard from him despite him having collected 5 figures from us. We gave him many opportunities to get back in touch without any hard feelings, but I could not hold off on leaving a review any longer as this was really not okay and others should be weary if he has not abandoned this business name.

Every homeowner's nightmare - an email from Austin Water stating you may have a leak due to a large…read morespike in water consumption that has been occurring for several days and is not decreasing! We checked all water sources in the house and found nothing. We then searched outside and found a large pool of standing water in an area of our otherwise dry front yard. Time to call a plumber. Was referred to Olde Skool Plumbing and gave them call. I spoke with Joe, the owner, and he stated he could come by the next day and assess the situation and work up a quote for us. He also stated the initial visit would not cost us anything, so I figured let's see what he comes up with. Joe arrived the next day as promised and was friendly and professional from the first minute we met. He took the time to find out what we had already tried related to shutting off our main water and inspecting all interior water connections and then inspected the standing water in our front yard. He agreed that was most likely the source of our leak. He advised us of his hourly rate and gave us an estimate of how long he believed it would take to do some preliminary digging into our yard to find a potential leak. The rates and plan of action discussed were reasonable, so we agreed. Fortunately, after an hour or so of digging, Joe quickly found the leaking pipe connection and began repairs. The underground pipe was quite old and was obviously compromised by the root systems growing all around it which Joe had to thin out and remove with a handheld saw before replacing the faulty section of pipe and installing new connections. Joe had an assistant for much of the digging but had no hesitation personally getting into the now wet, muddy trench to ensure the pipe replacement was correctly installed. It was obvious watching him that Joe took great pride in his work and truly cared about ensuring the job was completed as promised. There were several times he could have handed a messy portion of the repair over to his assistant but chose to perform the task on his own. All repairs were completed within the time frame discussed and when Joe connected a pressure gauge to one of our outside faucets (which he replaced as well for a very reasonable price when asked!) it showed consistent pressure with no signs of leaks! It was dark at this point and Joe asked if he could return to tomorrow in the daylight to fill in the repair hole and clean up the area. I agreed and paid him with a credit card. This is where many service companies will leave you short - not show up as promised simply to clean up when they've already been paid. Not Joe and Olde Skool Plumbing! He arrived as promised with many bags of new dirt (no charge) and spent a great deal of time filling in the repair hole in our yard and packing it down to look as good as new! He also used a hose to clean off the mud on the side of our house that had splattered during the repairs. Again, it was obvious Joe truly cares about his work, customers and doing a great job even after he's been paid. All in, total repairs for an underground leak and pipe section replacement cost us under $1K. Very reasonable for the work and quality that I personally witnessed. I also appreciated that Joe never tried to upsell us on other services or repairs unrelated to the job at hand which is an issue I'd had in the past with other plumbing companies. Bottom line - Joe and Olde Skool Plumbing are 100% legit and truly care about their customers. I will not hesitate to contact them again if and when we need any future plumbing repairs!
