We went on a Friday night with a group of friends and had a solid time overall.Food: The burgers and loaded nachos were actually pretty good--better than I expected for a place that mainly exists so you can play games. We drove out to Folsom on Saturday to celebrate my Sister in Law's birthday and decided to check out the newer Dave and Buster's. It is located in the Palladio, but still offers a decent amount of parking. The inside was huge - with a massive dining area and TV screens to match, a large Sports Bar and an even bigger arcade area. We had a party of 7 and were seated immediately - we ordered the Chicken Strips with Fries, Fire-Grilled Salmon, Calamari, Kids Pepperoni Pizza, Spinach Dip and Fish and Chips. Everything was actually pretty decent and we enjoyed most of what we ordered. We also went with a Strawberry Margarita and the Million Dollar Margarita which were both very good as well. Along with our meals, we did the Eat & Play deal - we did 1 with the $35 Power Card and 1 with the Unlimited Game Play for 90 minutes which was definitely worth it. 90 minutes is plenty of time, but the tickets max out at 1500 which is the only downsize. They had a ton of games like different types of Pac-Man, Space Invaders, a UFC game, basketball hoops, Guitar Hero and even a ride on Hungry Hungry Hippos to name just a few. They even had a giant claw machine that you could be strapped into and grab giant inflatables - it's an additional $20 to play though. Our family also loved the Cotton Candy machine - they were works of art for only $7! Overall, we had a great time, but the Prize Center sucks and is one big pyramid scheme like most arcades. After wanting to go here since they opened a couple years ago but being shot down by my family, my wife inexplicably told me I had to bring my 11 year old son here for lunch and father son time. Of course my 16 year old son declined because he's too cool. I hadn't been to D&B in several years. Inside the place looked brand new and expansive with huge TV's in the wall, plenty of seating, a large bar and plenty of arcade games, and pop music playing. We ate lunch first which was very filling although we did have to wait a bit. The brookie is a hybrid chocolate chip and brownie dessert topped with whipped cream. We added a scoop of ice cream which really complemented it well. Our server Jessica was super friendly and attentive. After spending over an hour eating and playing video games we were sensory overloaded and ready to return to our humble home. We look forward to coming back. read more

We visited on Thursday night around 6:30pm. The place was buzzing but not too crowded. We were seated immediately. Our server, Xavier, was busy tending other tables so we waited for about 5 minutes before he asked us for anything to drink. We just wanted water and ordered the food right away. The food came out pretty fast. Xavier was friendly and checked on us after the food came out. As for the games, my kid enjoyed it but we wish that they had lots more varieties. We stayed for about an hour. - Spicy smash burger: the portion was generous. The aioli sauce was good and the jalapeño pieces gave a good heat. This is such a fun spot for both adults and teens alike. There are so many different games to choose from in a large spacious place. I love the different variety of games they have here from hands on games to ride in games. I was most impressed by the human crane game. Didn't get to play it this time around, but love that there option is there. I will definitely be back to participate in that some day hopefully in the near future. The place is loud with lots of music and patrons. Depending on when you come, the place could be crowded. Love that they have many different upcoming events and it's posted as an easy visual. Theres also food option as well, which is appreciated. This is one of the newer Dave and Busters, so the place is very clean and tidy and updated games. I've been to this location a few times (whenever I visit the Palladio). They have a nice selection of games (especially car racing games). Break the Plate is one of my favorite arcade games here. The arcade area is loud from the music playing. In terms of food, it's alright. Much of it is loaded with sodium or sugar. The chicken parm pasta was salty and the chicken was burned. Our friend got the Mac and cheese which was very soupy and she said it tasted sweet. The cakes were all okay but the churros were amazing! The churros were filled with either fudge or caramel with additional caramel and fudge sauce. Their alcoholic drinks are good too. The servers were friendly and helpful. There is free parking and a lot of space to park. There's a large parking lot and a parking garage across the Palladio. Overall, it's a fun place to visit. The arcade games are fun. I didn't take to many pictures but next I go I will. 5 out of 5 I recommend Johnathan our waiter he was amazing!!!! Really amazing human being. Please be like that honey!! Like my sister said lol. Food was really good. A little more seasoning with my burger and it would have been 5 out of 5. The wings all you can eat it was good too recommend. The games amazing! Keep it up. Just make sure you are to update the gadgets like the virtual glasses. They need to be cleaned. Bathrooms they were ok but not horrible. And the place is big and lots of games to play. We went to Dave and Busters with our friend and daughter so we could play games together. We had low expectations for the food. Wow, what a surprise! Our meals were excellent! I had a steak bowl with rice, cauliflower, peppers, etc. Everything had so much flavor! I finished every bite. My friend had the ribs and loved them as well. My husband got the rib eye, which they had to remake because the first one was soaking in liquid butter. The second one was perfect and he really loved the mashed potatoes. The manager was super nice and brought us a game card since we had to wait. Tucker was a great server, very honest and helpful about the menu and took great care of us. I can't believe it took me so long to visit this Dave & Buster's in Folsom California! We had such a great fantastic date night last night with nice crispy, delicious lemon pepper wings and french fries with a delicious dessert as well. Then we find out that it's trivia night. OMG, we had a blast. I love the way. The Bar is really nicely designed. And the drinks look very tempting as well. They had so many amazing games to play. And I'm thinking about returning Friday night for Dj night. . We stayed there till like nine Pigem playing trivia. We didn't do too well, but it was really fun and exciting, and we will return very soon! One last thing the staff was amazing. The waiters, the managers work together, and made our dinner date. Unfortunately, they do not have the human crane at either location. I'm not sure where they would fit it in, but it would be a nice option to have (and it's what honestly had me come back to this place after 8+ year). Food is surprisingly pretty good. - Fish and Chips: good size. My partner said it was ok; not memorable. Enjoyed the fries though. - Brussel Sprouts: I love fried Brussel sprouts and these were pretty good. Not the best I've had, but I would get them again. The garlic aioli sounded soo good, but it was disappointing. Too much mayo and not enough garlic. They had the right idea, just lacked in execution. - BBQ chicken flatbread pizza: probably my favorite item so far. Great flavor. Thicker crust made it sturdier and easier to eat. I would order it without the jalapeños next time though (for my kids). - Pretzel sticks: a little disappointing. They tasted a little overcooked. I thought the chili sauce option was weird at first, but grew to like it. I combined both dipping sauces for a unique flavor. Not sure that I'd order this again. - Burger Sliders: got these for my kids, but ended up eating half of them myself lol. They were good. I like that they had grilled onions in them. Service was good. They checked on us multiple times. Did have a bit of trouble getting a play card and the sign up deal, so I don't recommend getting the play card through the restaurant. It also jacks up your bill, making your tip more than it should be. I've only come at night on the weekends so far, so parking has been easy (little to no shoppers around). My friend invited me to enjoy dinner and games. How is a lady to say no to that? Lots of parking and multiple entrances. One entrance is more game play only and the other entrance is the restaurant portion. The fried pickles and watermelon margarita were life. I wanted to eat, love, pray with those custom watermelon ice cubes. The ice cubes were like mini popsicles. My friend enjoyed his salad and his soda/water cup was always filled. The over all feel was industrial. Maybe we went on a down time but I was a okay with that! Server was nice and helpful. She did disappear a little bit though and we wanted another appetizer. This place used to be a solid five, but they have really gone downhill lately. At least 25% of the games are out of service. Any game that requires balls is always missing balls so you can't finish the game. Food takes forever to get, even when only moderately busy, and the quality is not what it used to be. This location is one of the handful out of all the Dave & Buster's that does not do half-price weekdays. The bathrooms are starting to get gross (hair in sinks, no soap in some dispensers, trash all over the floor). The customer service used to be some of the very best, but sadly it's now just average. Darn it!! Ok so this place os a great place to take your kids. I think the food is usually good too. Today we definitely had an off experience! I ordered the $59 play all day with an entree. I asked if I could play first them come back and have them cook the burger since I had additional to order. The waitress/bartender said that was not a problem. When we came back we ordered chicken strips for my granddaughter and I told her to go ahead and have the burger cooked, my wife and I were going to share it. When it arrived the burger was old. It seemed like it had been sitting for a while and the fries were ice cold! Seriously not even warm. We got fresh fries, but that was it. We were charged for honey mustard and ranch dressing for the chicken nuggets! Seriously! Our last waitress bartender was excellent. Today (Friday May 1) she was not very good at all. I haven't been to a Dave and Buster's in years so I wasn't expecting too much. But we came here for a quick bite to eat since we were in the area and our friend mentioned it was half off food on Wednesdays. All of the staff were so friendly from the moment we walked in! From the host to our server, it was great service. We had a nice spot right next to the restaurant area but also by the games so our son could go play while waiting for the food. Everything was so new and clean inside! Only downside is that it was super loud so even though we were in the restaurant area, it was difficult to hear each other talk. We picked the Take it Cheesy sampler board which has pepperoni flatbread and mozzarella sticks. Both were so good! The flatbread was thick and fluffy, so it was basically a pizza. Both were a big hit with our kids. We also really enjoyed the pretzel dogs. The pretzel buns were so fresh and I loved the dipping sauce! I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was.
