It has been awhile since we've visited this location - simply because the past few times have been over run with unattended kids and games that didn't work properly. But whatever changes were made can be labeled a success because we had a surprisingly good time and look forward to coming back again. A number of the machines had been switched out for newer ones and just about everything was operational. The addition of more machines to check your power card balance and add on credits was a nice touch as well. It still does seem odd to have the bar and small seating area smack in the middle of the game room, but it proved to be handy as we were able to keep track of the college football scores while waiting for a game to open up. We also sat down to have the Chicken Parm Sandwich on the Eat & Play Combo, which was surprisingly decent. Dave and Buster's is a great place for a fun night out with friends or to kill some time on a random weekend afternoon. And the food isn't too bad too. Seems like a win-win to me. read more

I've been to their restaurant twice and each time, have had bad service. I'm thinking that they may need to hire more staff because it takes a while to get the food. D&B is always a fun experience when I'm at the Arundel Mall. Overall the games are fun and up to date. They change them out often, but the games are rather expensive on normal day-to--day visits. On Wednesdays all games are 50% off, so it makes a visit even better. If you go to 50% off day save your tickets for another day during the week because the prize area is cleared out due to the amount of game players. Don't forget to try a snow cone from the bar. First of all, we came here for my little sister's 16th birthday party. We started off with sitting down and eating dinner. Our server had no idea what she was doing. At the end when we were paying, she told us that my father who is active duty in the military couldn't use his military discount, because he was the only one that was military. Then we go onto the games. Most games just eat up your credits and don't even actually work, one of the basketball games for example. When brought to attention of this, one of the employees simply just told me "Bummer." and walked away to continue chatting with her employee friends. The women's bathroom reeks of urine and doesn't get cleaned regularly, AT ALL. After hours of being here, there were drink cups in the bathroom stalls, pee on the floor and on the toilet seats, no toilet paper in half of the stalls and tampon applicators all over the floor. In the same spot, hour after hour, and I even saw employees come in to use the restroom, not clean at all and then not wash their hands either. The prizes, almost all of them were not priced so you don't even know how many tickets it costs, and most of the shelves are empty. I honestly don't know why people come here and I will never come back. This place is disgusting, and the employees are lazy. Would not recommend to any family, friend group, birthday party, etc. This place honestly needs to get shut down. I'm calling the health department about the bathroom issues and other things. If you want a good healthy meal, this is not the place. In fact the food here is pretty bad. It tastes bland and greasy and it's not even remotely good for you. I think they know their food is not that good, so they make up for it in drinks and games. But no one really comes here for the food, people come here to play games. That is why this is a 3 star venue. They have every kind of arcade game you can thing of. Not my choice for large parties because I can be quite a food snob, but this is a great place for drinks, the bar and video game fun. read more

Drunkenly stumbled here on a Sat evening with some friends around 1AM. We wanted two things and two things only: Dessert and Racing Games. Luckily D&B was able to satisfy both! Our waiter kindly urged us to quickly order as the kitchen was closing soon - completely understandable. We ordered two brownie desserts, one huge plate of loaded nachos, chocolate fondue and french fries (read: drunk munchies). The food came out quickly. Brownie desserts were mediocre - the brownie was REALLY hard and not soft and chewy like expected. Fondue was decent - the fruits were fresh! Fries were waaaaay salty but the nachos were great! Chopped up meat along with cheese, sour cream, and guac? There is no way you can go wrong with that. The place is HUUUUUGE. There is a bowling alley as well as a pool room. And of course there is an obscene number of video games to which we played to our hearts desire. They shut off all the games around 1:45/1:50 though which was surprisingly early. This place is okay for a date night or group of friends hanging out, but not on a busy Saturday afternoon. I came here for my Dad's military Christmas party, and we were in the Skyline banquet room. Food was good,workers seemed to care less and were not friendly at all. Now on to the games. They're pretty fun. I had no clue what I was doing half the time but overall they have a great selection of games. I thought this place was for adults? Sooooo many kids were there. Literally groups of kids everywhere. First time at D&B. Food was very affordable and delicious. Service was friendly and staff took time to explain things clearly. $26 for a cheese burger, fries and a $20 game card. $6 for a burger that big and fries was a crazy good deal. Game area is very nice and has the latest games provided. Electronic cards store tickets/winnings. Prize area is like a store and you can walk in and pick up what you want then check out with your tickets on your card. Downside is games are a tab over priced. Most games are 7-10 "points" per play which is like $1-$2. Stations located to refill cards or check balance. Not many games for kids under 10 and only a few instant prize machines like the claw. Very clean and can even eat at a table inside the arcade. Bar also on the middle of the arcade. All in all D&B was a very cool place and we will certainly be coming back! read more

This was my first time visiting a Dave and busters and it was appalling to say the least. We were so excited to visit since moving to an area with one that was local. We have never had a worse experience anywhere. Seated with no silverware or menus; not even walked to our table, she just pointed. Waited 20 minutes to order our drinks. Waved down three waiters, each telling them that we had not been served yet. While watching all of them stand behind the bar on their phones. We were so upset, nothing could've made up for the way we were treated we ended up going to the Buffalo Wild Wings next door to give them our business and time. I am beyond disappointed with the customer service we received and will never return or recommend anyone make the trip. Do better. read more

This review is for an event my family attended at D&B. The party was for a 10 year old child with probably 40-50 guests. The customer service was superb. The server was well attentive. In addition to making sure the preordered food was warm and to the mom's liking, the server took bar and food orders. Perhaps it was the night we decided to go or maybe Dave n Busters is always like this but in my opinion don't go on Friday nights if you don't like crowds of people aimlessly walking and standing around. I understand that Friday nights are a big night for places like these especially when it's 21 and over (if you decide to go after 9 bring your ID, doesn't matter the day) but to me it seems that this past Friday was more hectic than the rest. Wasn't able to try the food but if you're willing to eat make sure you find a table first considering its self seating and the crowds that may take up a good chunk of time. Instead of eating we decided to get these Jell-O shot syringes which were pretty cool, they're $5.00 a pop and are said to have alcohol in them. Bring cash if you'd want to enjoy this and keep your eyes out for a lady with a cart of them that's constantly moving around. We wanted to get something to eat and then play some games, but because of how inedible the food was we never made it to the games. I got a burger, which was cold when it got to me. The fries were also cold. I took one bite and had to stop. My wife's salad looked absolutely disgusting. It was as if it had just been sitting for a long time. The bartender took the food off the check and added some money to our Power Card for games, which was appreciated. So, we paid our tab and left. Not that I consider Dave & Busters to be a high quality dining establishment, but I've lost all faith in hoping their menu would be somewhat decent. Come for the games, not for the food or drinks (unless they're bottled). My turkey burger was frozen and about 1/4" thick, with toppings sloppily arranged around the plate. My girlfriend's buffalo chicken sliders were missing bottom buns. Not only did the fountain Diet Coke taste terrible, like the lines hadn't been cleaned in weeks, the draft Miller Lite also tasted similarly bad. The waitstaff doesn't care about your experience or the quality of your food--in fact it amazes me how such noticeable issues weren't noticed by our server. My tip: If you really want to come here and spend time with friends/family, eat somewhere else beforehand, order a bottle of beer (or a mixed drink), and stick to playing games. Steer clear of anything from the menu; you will be incredibly disgusted and disappointed. read more

This review is specifically for the bowling alley. My friend and I showed up for Sunday bowling. There was a Caucasian family of 8 and a black family of 4 bowling when we arrived. We got a lane quickly and cracked jokes with the lady behind the counter which got things headed in the right direction. My friend needed a fork for food she brought over from the restaurant side and we also wanted to order drinks. There wasn't anyone behind the bar but there was a woman with a terrible purple wig standing near the bar on her phone. I asked her for a fork and if we could order drinks. Without even making eye contact she said "she be back in a minute". I guess she meant the bartender. After waiting a few minutes I walked back to the restaurant side to grab a fork and place the drink order. When i came back the purple-haired gremlin was happily assisting the family of four while paying particular attention to the father of the group. The Caucasian family also had food and drinks now. Guess we were the wrong color and wrong gender to get assistance. Mind you...the purple-haired gremlin was also black. I sincerely hope someone sees this and works with the staff on customer service. read more

I attended a Christmas party here on December 17. On the evening of the 18th, I realized that instead of charging my card the $10 I authorized (to upgrade my card and my guest's to 'unlimited play'), they charged me for the entire party, nearly $1200. No big, I try not to get upset about stuff. I called them the following day (19th), and let them know about the mistake. They said they would call me back. Hours later, I called back. The second person said that the refund had been processed, and would take 3-5 business days. Yikes. That might mean I don't get the refund until after Christmas, a very difficult time of year to be out $1200. Still, I try to remain cheerful and pleasant, because that's who I try to be. I thought maybe I could get the refund a bit faster through corporate, so I called them. I was routed to a 'Customer Relations' specialist, and left them a message. As of this date, December 26, I have not received a call. I called today, and spoke with a manager, who assured me that a refund was processed on the 22nd. Remember that I was told it was processed on the 19th. I am now starting to get a bit peeved. Three days after they told me it was processed, it was actually processed. The weekend, then Christmas, so TODAY is the first of the 3-5 business days it will take for them to return the money that they mistakenly charged me instantly. "I'm sorry that happened." the manager said. Instead of mollifying me, it made me determined never to darken the door again. In four phone calls (that I reached someone, don't get me started), after a $1200 hit to my card that I did not authorize, at a time of year that I can't really afford to be without that money, after being ignored and lied to about the refund, he was the FIRST person to offer me anything resembling an apology. The problem with being super popular and profitable, is that you convince yourself it will always be that way. With customer service - if you can even call it that - like this, your decline will be sooner, rather than later. When I get my money, it will be the last Dave & Buster's experience of my life, and you can bet I'll tell this story every time someone mentions the place. It can't be too soon for me. read more

I took my children there for their birthday. We had a party of ten people and the food came out twenty minutes apart. The fries were cold and the waitress didn't even come and give me a refill on our drinks. From the moment that we walked into the restaurant we were stereotyping as poor black people. My wife stated that she didn't eat pork and we had to send the nachos bake twice once because they gave us the wrong order and the second time because they serve ground pork sausage on them. My son didn't get to eat anything because the waitress didn't ask him what he wanted. When it came to the manager he was ignorant and disputed with us that our story was not true. He was more inclined to believe the waitress over what we said. As a matter a fact he was not even a manager for the front of the house he was a kitchen manager. In short I will never go back to that establishment again because of the bigoted was that me and my family were treated. On top of it all the food was terrible. Wife won a 1500 ticket jackpot on the pachinko fishing game, it only paid out 500 tickets, staff called the tech out, they did nothing, claiming there was nothing they could do to help us. I bought $300 in total points today so my 3 kids could spend time with there grandmothers on Mother's Day. I had an issue with one of the games, speed of light. My youngest son who is 6 kept putting the card in but not starting the game. I realized it was taking points away soon after, and contacted the front desk who sent a repair man to tell me it wasn't true. I didn't ask for the manager but he called over. The manager, Steve Perry told me they looked at the game history and what I told them wasn't true. My kids were looking at these 2 grown men say information that wasn't true. We went to eat and play a few games on a lazy summer Sunday. The restaurant was not busy and I went to the hostess stand while my wife and daughter went to restroom. I stood there for about 2 minutes while 3 employees gawked at some new shoes one of them had just purchased in the mall. Finally one of them looked up and said "Can I help you man". I said yes table for three and he said "sure, just a minute" and went back to talking about the shoes. After another minute or so, another employee walked up and asked if I could be helped. I again requested a table for 3 and she led me to a table as the other two in my party arrived. After we were seated it took 10 minutes for the waitress to arrive. She took our drink order and disappeared for 5+ mins. Two of the drinks were regular fountain sodas but the 3rd drink was listed as this: Blue Raspberry Sno Glowb Shaved ice topped with JOLLY RANCHER® Blue Raspberry Syrup and Sprite®, served with a light-up, color-changing "ice cube" and a color-changing straw! What where given was Blue Rasberry over ice cubes. No shaved ice. No light up ice cube. No color changing straw. We told our daughter not to drink it, and we left, much to her disappointment. By far the worst restaurant experience of my life. Entire floor was disgusting and nobody bothered to clean the French fries under our table. We waited over half an hour to receive drinks. Our server also forgot to give us an alcoholic beverage we ordered. Our server also never refilled our water in the two hours we waited. We received our appetizer at a reasonable time. However, they failed to provide us with dishes nor with silverware. That's the only good part. We waited for almost two hours when I asked what was going on. The server assured the order will be out in a few minutes. Turns out the order was never placed and we just waited there for absolutely nothing.
