I've been a Dave & Buster's fan, since the first time I visited one in Southern California. I'd been planning to checkout this one in McDonough, Ga, for a while and when I did there was the nostalgia but unfortunately the servers at the bar made my experience a lot less enjoyable. There were 2 bartenders tending an oversized bar with football on the big screens while they also served customers at the surrounding tables. When I flagged down the bartender to make a request, or should I say order, she seemed annoyed, poorly trained and lacked the customer service focused attitude that I've experienced at other Dave & Buster's. I literally had to yell my order to her while she stood 5 feet away. Lets just say the food was far from appetizing and the service left a lot to be desired. While there are still plenty of other things to do and fun games to play and experience, I probably won't be going back for a visit anytime soon. read more

We accidentally put the wrong address in the GPS and ended up at this location. Maybe we just had a good day compared to other reviews but our service was perfect... it was busy but it didn't take long to get seated.. took a bit to get drinks. Our food was good and came out really fast. It was pretty busy but we didn't have to wait too long for any games. I felt like the prizes at this one were way better than the others in the metro area. There were some newer games.. definitely a few that weren't working but all were obviously out of order and we didn't lose any charge points. Losing a couple points because the bathrooms were.. disgusting and I felt like my chicken sandwich was mostly slaw to offset that it was just thin and mostly breading. My son was jumped on by 10 or more young boys whom appeared to be in a gang. I was informed by my son that they were following them around Dave and busters all night long before this incident happened. They were trying to rob him for his shoes. Your staff just stood around and watched my son get jumped on didn't try to intervene or nothing. I have a case out as of last night regarding this issue. They stole his phone and tried to take his shoes. This place is supposed to be a safe place, but it should be closed down as it's becoming a hazard for all people who enter. I'm sure it will take someone to die there before something is done. You allow those same boys in that place weekend after weekend making it unsafe they looked to be gang affiliated with ski mask on and everything. Policy is no sunglasses, but we can't even identify those individuals due to them having on ski masks that jumped on my 14 year old son about some shoes. You as the manager didn't express any concern at all yes because they are all African American individuals in this situation. That was my sons first and last time in this establishment and African Americans needs to stop going so this spot can be closed down before someone losses their life! please don't take your kids to this location! read more

It was a very fun and clean arcade, but the restaurant had poor service and long wait time for food. All we ordered were two cokes and cheese sticks. It took 30 minutes, and there were only two other tables being served. The menu also stated that it would be $5. The total came out to $18. Horrible experience at this location. It was my wIfes birthday and I invited a few friends to goo with us. We celebrated early cause she was going on a tRip to Chicago and would be gone on her actual birthday. Was trying to give her a stress free night of fun. Big fail. Service was horrible. Portions of food were ridiculous. My friends order all you could eat wings. THey received two wings and friEs after 40 minutes of waiting and after reordering it took another 30 minutes. My other fRiend got an unlimited game card for the night and it ran out after 2 or 3 games. This place for being new, needs to get there stuff together. read more

This is the best Dave & Buster's I have been to in the Atlanta area. Recently opened and very clean (saw the manager at this location mopping, which is rare of people of tier level so I give major props!) the bartender was very attentive as much as he could be; as he was the only one running service. They have a great selection of games as well and they are doing their very best of social distancing during this time. read more

Slowest food service I've ever experienced in my life. We sat down at out table at 5:35pm; our food did not arrive until 6:44pm!!! The food was a 5 out of 10 taste-wise. The fries were cold. I've been to this location twice. Both times the experience was nice. Service is sparse but the quality is good. I suggest going on Wednesday when they have half price games. The Food sucks ; and all I had were fries and they made my stomach hurt. My son also said his stomach hurt after he ate his dinner. Another time one of the children we were with got food poisoning. Their system for ordering at tables is the worst. They want you to use a QR code to place orders, yet if they didn't clear the last order at the table you can't do anything. NOT IMPRESSED!!!! I come here often and I can truly CAN say the service here is ok. Ok as in i would tip them 8%. But today has to be the worst, the waiter never state her name I had to find out when she gave the check. Start by saying it they didn't have any drinks containing strawberries and I would think she would of been inform that prior seating us. Plenty of better eating establishments in the area. My family decided to eat at Dave andBusters for lunch on Saturday Feb 18. Many of the menu items were unavailable. After multiple selections my wife finally found an available burger which was decent while I opted for chicken tenders. I got the equivalent of 2 chicken McNuggets and fries for $13. I asked if they had mistakenly thought I had ordered it for one of the kids but was informed that it was the correct portion size. My kids love the arcade but we will not be eating here again. read more

I came in with my family tonight and they told us we could sit anywhere, 15 minutes later we we're told to move because the section was closed. Then it takes them 30 more minutes to seat my family and another 10 for a server to come take our order. 35 minutes later we got our good and it was awful. The only reason I gave this place one star was because the bar drinks were on point and the kids at had a blast playing games. So unless I need a place to take my kids, I I won't be back!! read more

Well, I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt after reading the negative reviews. My daughter wanted to go with a few friends for her bday, so I obliged. Food service was absolutely the slowest, crappiest experience I've had. Ever. Slow as hell, hair in one of the kids food, everyone's food was delivered cold, no refills at all until I asked for a manager. "Unlimited wings" special sounded great, but they bring them out literally (no I'm not exaggerating) 4 at a time. Meanwhile waitress goes missing for 15-20 minutes at a time so ordering more of these unlimited wings was pointless. Customer service desk (at front entrance) WAS helpful and the games were fun so 2 stars. read more

This was my first visit to Dave & Buster's in McDonough, GA, and sadly to say, this will be my last. Upon arrival, things seemed to be amiss. We arrived at 11:00 today, and there was no one available to seat us. Finally, a waitress came out and went and got someone whom I assumed to be the manager. There was a group of people there before us so he handled their issue first. The waitress took them to their table and told us that she would be back to seat us after them. The person who I assumed to be the manager finally acknowledged us and asked were we with the other group of people and we said no. He then said someone would be with us. At that point I was becoming agitated with his lack of interpersonal skills, and I asked him how was he doing today, and he responded. Afterwards, the waitress came and took us to our table and gave us our menus. The pages were sticking together on my menu. She had to actually help separate some of the pages for me. My daughter opened up her napkin to get her silverware, and it was dirty. (Please see the picture.) When the waitress came back out, I showed it to her, and she took it with her but did not apologize. As far as the food goes, my ribs were not good. My daughter said her salmon was good, but it was not hot. She felt it had been cooked and set aside for awhile. We paid for our food and left. I did not even bother complaining to the manager, because I had already developed a negative opinion of him. Needless to say, I will not ever go back to that location. I feel like Dave & Buster's let me down on this visit. read more

I didn't know about this Dave and Busters which is closer to my home. I usually go to the Marietta location. When I got there on a Sunday to watch the falcon game and eat it was so crowded that it was an hour wait to be seated. We decided to go to the bar and lucky for us two bae seats were available. The bartender was a young female but was very friendly and made a great Long Island tea with mango. The special was the all you can eat wings with an limited game card for the day which I got. The employees kept the wings coming as I requested them and I was very pleased with the service at the bar more so than at the tables plus playing the games for a few hours basically would have cost us the price of the meal alone. I will be back and if not for the hour wait I would have rated them Five stars. read more

Second time coming and it's always a big disappointment when we decide to stay and eat, first come first serve seats- it's hard to even get a waitress to acknowledge you. If Dave and busters had any common sense I think the best sense they could come to is have some type of buzzer attached to each table or even flag poles heck. I gOt up possibly 4-5 times just go get my waitress to come assist. We also ordered a second bottle of beer and never got it!!! One star for the arcade area though. Well I wrote this so upset while waiting for meal receipt at DnB, waitress came back after she seen me pop my head up again for the 10th time so she runs over to tell me she is giving me a discount to my entire meal.
