This place is BEAUTIFUL! Truly, my location I typically go to is in Lawrenceville, GA but truly this McDonough location stole my heart. They took their time making this location. There is a sports bar & dinning area & my boyfriend & I chose the dinning area & it was nice & intimate & still had sports playing. The games are awesome, but for the Love of God the food service sucked so bad. I've never seen restaurant employees act the way they did. The only one that did well was the only Asian waitress, she was trying so hard but literally no one was helping her. The bar was nasty, trash everywhere, we stood at our table for 10 minutes before someone would clean it, then it took another 15 to finally have someone take our order. The food was bad quality, and took absolutely for ever to get to our table. I was so disappointed, y'all have to remember that you're a restaurant too not just an arcade. If I could have given a score of "0" I would have. Talk about poor service from this place. It's unfortunate that our neighborhood can't have great places to eat and drink. The ordering process is silly and doesn't hold the servers accountable for providing friendly service. My spouse never even received his food and the server was totally clueless about it. The food arrived to the table cold and I had to ask the server for straws for the drinks she had just placed on the table. That took her 10 minutes to bring back. My waitress changed the tip amount on my credit card receipt and Dave & Buster's refuses to hand over the receipt to aid in prosecution. I was credited the over charge but told that they handled the situation and I would not be handed the receipt without a subpoena. So I'm sitting at the table right now after one and a half hour after orderIng food and nothing has come out. Not a French fry not anything. Incredibly terrible service and me not anyone inn my group will ever return here. This place is terribly managed. I went to the bar when I first arrived and waited over 20 mins for one of the 5 bartenders to locate a wine key. I never got to play any gaMes and ended up leaving before the food came out. I had taken my grandson after school, he had a ball but when it came time eat we sat at the table waiting for any servers to serve us and after over 15 min with many of them passing by the table never asking if we needed anything, we just got up and i ask to speak to manager. The kids really enjoyed the games, but the restaurant experience was awful, there aren't any servers just people bringing your drinks. They never asked if everything was ok or if we need anything. Everything we asked for we received with an attitude like we were bothering them, we had to chase someone down for a refill for a $3.25 coke. We spent a couple hundred dollars in there and they were only concerned about us sitting at 2 tables with 2 different servers. They trick you into tipping when you place your order on the QR code for non existent service. The manger came over but she was worse then the servers, bad attitude. So disappointed in the restaurant. First off the menu is way to limited. Came for my favorite dish only to be disappointed it's not on the menu. Couldn't ask the waitstaff because they make you scan and order. The only thing the waitstaff did was bring drinks. Every one in the party paying separately has to order one at a time. Don't go on a Saturday afternoon. We got there at about 3:30 and was told there was a four hour wait on a table. So I can't say on the food. Did stay and play a few games. Was nice playing on new games. Noise level is over the top. Not a lot of interaction with employees. Too bad they closed the one in Gwinnett. It was laid out much better. read more

The food was mediocre but we didn't come here for the food, we came here for the kids to play games and to celebrate a birthday. We spent close to $500.00 for 6 kids and 2 adults to eat and play games for about 2 hours. Price was more than expected but considering it's something we would do only once every couple years I guess it wasn't that bad. The 2 stars comes from the restaurant floor manager who walked up to our table and asked us basically to leave because she believed we had been at the table for 1 hour and 51 minutes. She was rude and her approach was very ugly. We tried to explain to her that we had only been there an hour but then she started looking at her computer and reading off sit times like we where all liars. Once she discovered her mistake, that she was confusing us with the group that had already left next to us, she just said things like "well you need to be gone by 90 minutes". I've traveled the world and eaten at thousands of restaurants and never have I ever been asked to leave. Because of this experience I will never return to this facility, nor will any of my family. I went to this location last night for my husband's birthday and I would say that there is pros and cons to this particular location. For starters it's a new location so the place was packed which is good but also bad because the service was horrible due to lack of staff and overworked staff (seemingly stressed) that was assisting customers including me was not only rude but forgetful. We ordered our food and drinks and We got our food within a hour but our drinks 45 mins after our meal.. when we was already finished eating. Not to mention when the server brought our food, we didn't get offered any silverware or condiments. I received my bill of $58.00 and I paid and signed but found out they really charged $140 to my account. So I will be disputing that. Games was pretty fun but I but children was running all over the place at 11:00 at night. I wish there was a time limit on minors to be there cause mixing with grown adults and alcohol is not a good luck. The only pro is that it's close to my house. J read more

Popped in with my sister and the kids on Sunday so the kids could have some fun before the school week started. We planned on ordering food while the children played games. Sunday is unlimited games and wing night so we were prepared to wait a little while before being seated and served, but we didn't know it would take over an hour for both. We stood awkwardly by the booth area waiting for another family to leave since the entire dining area by the games were full. After scooping up some seats, we sat for 30 minutes before a waitress, Daylen, acknowledged us. She asked if our waiter had been by yet and left to go find him. About 10 minutes later she came back to check if our actual server ever came by yet. We informed her that no one else had been by and she took our drink order and left again to find a manager to come speak with us, even though we didn't ask for that. She came back a third time to let us know that she was hahing a hard time locating a manager. Finally the manager came by after close to an hour of us being seated and offered to cover our drinks and assign us a waiter immediately. We opted out but wanted to Thank Daylen for taking the time to acknowledge our existence and for taking care of us even though she wasn't assigned to our section on such a busy day. After finally arriving here to McDonough, my family and I were looking forward to trying the place out. First the place looks amazing. They did a great job with the interior design. One thing we noticed is that even though it was a Monday evening, there was hardly anyone there. Our waiter was a bit awkward. I ordered a water while we waited for our drinks. About 10 minutes later the waiter came back, gave me my wife's drink and told her they were out of my drink. He also did not have the water I asked for. Things went a bit downhill from there. We ordered two appetizers, the nachos and fondue, at the same time as our main courses. About 20 minutes later our main courses came out without appetizers. The waiter asked if everything was ok and we said not to worry about the appetizers. Instead of apologizing for them not coming out, he just said okay. He then asked if I wanted anything to drink and I said the water I initially asked for would be great. The food was just warm all the way around except for my wife's brussel sprouts which were the only thing that was hot. My daughter had a side of macaroni and cheese that had some very cold spots. We asked for a replacement which came out about 10 minutes later. I believe the waiter was just frustrated with our table as he asked if we wanted the check when he brought the replacement mac and cheese. I attended the VIP Night 9/12/19 with my husband. Plenty of parking, friendly staff, spacious and well designed. We did not taste any of the food because we ate before attending. I tried the signature drinks and unfortunately they were not for me. I opted for a Cabernet instead. There were several free games to play including one of my favorites, Air Hockey! During our game the puck got stuck a couple of times and was resolved quickly by a member of the staff. We moved on to the basketball goals and surprisingly there wasn't much of a wait to play considering the amount of people attending this free event. We were given complimentary cups with money saving coupons as well. This particular event was adult only so the coupons will come in handy for our next visit with the kids. I will continue to review our visits in hopes that this new establishment in McDonough, Ga. will continue to shoot for the stars!!! read more

Today, for the first time EVER I had an absolutely terrible experience at Dave and Buster's. New or not I will NOT be visiting this location again! I waited at a dining table for more than thirty minutes before moving to the bar in hopes to get some help which took an additional fifteen minutes. Once I finally got my order in and waited thirty more minutes, it came out wrong. Something I specifically asked for without and made it known multiple times and it came out with it on there....I have no words. I have been to every Dave and Busters location in Georgia and Florida and even New York and this is the WORST experience out of them all. We spent well over $600 in here tonight and we were treated with disrespect by everyone except our server. Not to mention the roaches that were on the walls here and there. I had to trap one under my empty cup. The 3 bartenders Drew Ashleigh and Ariuna were the worst and most disrespectful bartenders I've ever delt with in my life. They couldn't make a Long Island correctly we had to send back 3. We also had to send back a Moscow mule that was also made incorrectly. After this we were served our chilled shots of patron in hot glasses straight out of the dish machine and we let them know and they were angry with us. A drink was spilled at our table and no one brought us napkins for us to clean it up. Then we ordered another round of shots and it took more than 25 minutes for them to bring the shots, and the waitress told us that they were being slow on purpose because we complained about the glasses being hot. At this point we were very angry. Well after we asked for the manager and told to him and tried to get everything situated The 3 bartenders were grouped up with some servers by the bar and were all talking about us with very inappropriate language to be had in a family establishment. Then proceeded to talking about jumping us and were all laughing and calling us white bitches. We had 3 children at the table also hearing all this cursing from the staff. The gaming aspect is good and will keep the family entertained. The food is decent enough. However, be prepared to wait a long time. I went early during a weekday. There was hardly anyone at the diner. My brother and I walked right in and sat as there was no one ahead of us in line. The waitress took our order right away. I would not waste my time coming back to this place. I'd rather go to the Dave and Buster's in Gwinnett. The kids working the door are extremely rude and inexperienced. They told one of the cops up there that I was possibly drunk for no reason. They were filed up past capacity and refused to let me back in even though I only stepped out to run to my truck and they wouldn't let me back in. I've gone to the McDonough Dave & Buster's twice and they truly need to work out the kinks. They struggle to handle large parties, the wait staff seems overwhelmed, can't get a manager to come to your table if something is wrong (they act like they've heard it all) and on our first visit - the power in the building went out for a few minutes! We asked the waitress and she said yes, it happens a few times a week. Really? Yesterday, I went again with my daughter and they were out of to go boxes!! My waiter had to find what was probably the only to go container in the building. I literally sat at my table an extra 20 minutes while he looked for a take-out box because I refused to throw $50.00 worth of food in the trash because they are struggling to get it together. Evidently no manager had the foresight to send a staff member to Sam's (one exit away) or Wal-mart (down the street) to purchase takeaway containers until their delivery the following day. And that was during lunch hour....what was going to happen during the dinner hour with no takeaway containers? I realize this is the NEW hot spot on the southside but they need help.
