Started out in the lobby and as a had never been here before I was not sure if I should wait in line as there was not clear signage.We were on time but it took 15 minutes tio get through the lobby be and find out we were in the wrong line. We then made it to the hostess stand (10 minutes after our reservation) and they said they may not be able to seat us. They figured that part out and seated us. Our server, Lila, tried but this job was a but too much for her to handle. She never checked on our waters. My daughter asked for a side of BBQ sauce when her burger was delivered and never got it, despite our server stopping by 3 different time saying she was checking on it. Then our server just disappeared. After 15 minutes of being done, we asked we're finally checked on and asked for a box. Then we sat for another 15 minutes and had to hunt down our check in order to pay so we could leave. My first time at Dave & Busters ever. I expected more. This review is mainly for the arcade and games they had at this location. MANY machines were broken and out of service. The machines that were "working" weren't accurate or were basically broken but still taking $$$ out of our card. For instance, there was a station where you'd throw baseball at a target and it should record your accuracy and throw speed. Sometimes even after throwing the ball and hitting the target, the machine says your speed was 0mph and you got 0 points which means = 0 tickets for you = SCAM Basically taking your money and it's not even working fairly. This review is entirely regarding incredible bar service that we received in the bar area, our bartender was Sophia and she is absolutely fantastic. She made us amazing custom drinks for my boyfriend's birthday, and she did everything she could to make us feel well accommodated and welcome. She is funny, skilled, and a master mixologist, she can make you anything and you will be more than happy with her recipe! I also want to mention Elisa, The manager who was on duty that night. She was very attentive and did an excellent job overseeing the areas and assisting the staff, doing so with a very calm demeanor. None of that crazy active feeling you get when you see a manager rushing around and you think the whole place is falling apart. I recently had a disappointing experience and I felt others thinking about spending money here should know, mainly due to the service from the bartender, I think his name is Abram (pale skin guy with brown hair and beard/goatee). We Sat at the bar and my wife and I asked about happy hour beers, he bluntly stated, "Only Coors and Bud Light." I politely asked for clarification, wondering if any of the other listed beers were available, but he repeated, "Again, like I said, only Bud and Coors." There was no reason for him to have such an attitude and be so curt with customers looking to enjoy and relax after work. It left a sour taste in my mouth. I then asked if there were any food specials, and he simply replied, "Food?" handed me a menu, and walked away without another word. I never saw him again for the rest of the evening. It's clear that more training is needed for Abram (forgive me if that's not his name, I asked a female bartender for his name). Coming here very early on sunday for football was the best idea ever mostly if your looking for the best seats. Although the customer service was not really present. Our server did not have answers to any questions we may have had on the menu, only "I dont know" . Our server also disappointed one of my friends by not telling us before hand that one of the ingredients on a menu item we ordered was not available and instead continued to let us order that item and bring us the food prepared differently (since there was no ingredient) . All of our food & drinks took about 25-30 minutes each to be received. The menu at dave and buster is also very limited. I wish they had more items or specialty's we could choose from. The seating and environment though is clean and very open you wont feel squished if sitting with other people at your table. Another thing was there were photographers here working at dave and busters taking photos of the customers during game day and I think you were able to purchase a photo print of it after !! Wow within just a few months the service and the food menu has taken a huge decline!! My boyfriend and I would go in sometimes a couple times a week because it's just about 4 min. away from where we live. We tried it again a couple nights ago and it's not doing any better. 1) The service is horrible, it takes a while for anybody to acknowledge us after sitting for at least 8-10 min. (thats not an exaggeration). 2) They have changed the menu, the food portions are much smaller than normal. Really sad that late night happy hour is no longer a thing but nonetheless I came by with a friend to get some drinks during their 4-7 happy hour. We got the Dangerous Waters Island Punch and the Strawberry Nirvana cocktails and only those for our order. After about 15 minutes of waiting our server Yoselyn comes by to ask us if we ordered yet and when we told her we did she said she couldn't find the ticket. After that it was another 15 minute wait while she walked around trying to find the ticket. I'm not sure why two drinks were such an issue where she could've just asked them to make new ones when we showed her our receipt and everything too. They finally come out and she tosses them on the table quickly and says "I don't know who ordered what" and then walks away. No thank you or sorry for the wait, nothing. This facility will lie to your children to trick you into coming. A few weeks ago, one of my daughter's friends showed her a big stuffy from DB, and my daughter wanted one too. Since it's not available for purchase elsewhere, we called all the local DBs asking if they had the stuffy. The one in Concord politely said they did not, Daly City one said they had it but were currently out of stock. The lady who answered the phone here said she "will check". After putting us on hold, she came back to say they had it, but there were very few left so "first come first serve." This made my daughter very excited so we spent an hour on the road driving over. Not only did they not have it, but the person behind the prize desk said that 1) they never had it, and 2) no one from the front desk ever came to check or ask about prize availability in the last two hours. I don't know why your front desk person felt the need to lie -- did you think we would spend money at your facility after you dashed my kid's hopes? Overall we had fun playing games, there was lots of security around monitoring everything which was great and made me feel safer. The W bathrooms were horrible, smelled like pee, floors were sticky, TP overflowing out of the trash can, and no soap or hand sanitizer. Be that once familiar happy child that you were born to be again. We forgot what simple fun times mean until we pick it up and experience again. Minimum $15 for 75 chips to play and each game in the room is around 7.5 chips or 10.9 chips. Without rewards account, there is an additional $3 fee to get your initial card. Once you have the card, you can play and reload anytime without anymore $3 fees added afterwards. Found my favorite game, the piano keys. Wow! I hit every piano key correctly and did it as fast as I can. Get 4 ticket points for every 6 keys hit. Really not bad. Lots of fun for music lovers who can play all kinds of musical instruments. Restaurants and bars inside were pretty empty, so get the whole area to yourself. Restrooms decent and convenient. Games and very cool and fun, even for adults like me who have time to kill. They do group events and reservations, in case you need fun space for your venue. I haven't been here in over 10 years. It's very different and quiet since pandemic. Redeem prizes with your ticket points in the back. I got the USB disco ball for 700 ticket points and then a box of LED white light for 1300 ticket points. The wheel of fortune and spinning games are actually pretty fun. Can get 10-1000 ticket points for each try. I think people should explore simple fun activities again. A small group of us recently visited Dave and Busters for a late lunch and some game play. It has been a while since I have eaten there. I was excited to try some new menu items. The Stacked Steak Bowl was delicious!!! I'm going to order it again the next time I go back. For dessert, we shared the Strawberry Short Cake and S'mores Cheesecake. Also super tasty!!! In the Midway there is a good variety of games set for younger kids to play which was key for our group. We had such a good time. I learned Friday nights has live music. [Something behind the bar counter was in dire need of a power wash, extra scrubbing!!] We ordered a combo or drinks ranging from shots of Henny, beer [DNB offers this on tap & bottles], & mixed drinks. Carnivore Pizzadilla- 12in Quesadilla loaded with cheese, sausage, pepperoni, bacon, & marinara sauce. Mountain O Nachos- A huge pile of tortilla chips topped with beef, cheese, black beans, jalapeños, & two large dollops of guac & sour cream. Here's the rundown: Shots are hella skimp. My first visit for a birthday party instigated another visit to check out their food menu. We came on a weekday and went to the front desk to be seated. The lady at the front let us know we could sit ourselves or walk up to the hostess. We walked up to the hostess and were seated right away. We looked at the menu and the first page is all the different alcoholic drinks they serve. I looked on the menu for something that looked appetizing and settled on chicken street tacos. We had ordered nachos as an appetizer and when they arrived I immediately regretted ordering them. The chips were stale and the large mixture of ingredients gave it an overwhelming taste. My plate came with three chicken tacos, chips, salsa verde, and nacho cheese. The tacos weren't flavorful. There's a large variety of games to play. Like a Chuck E. Cheese's for adults. Add money to a card and use it to play the games. At around 930-10pm the atmosphere changes to a bar setting. Our service was good but the food was not.
