My husband and I came here for a early Saturday lunch. We were greeted and seated right way. The service was fast and friendly. We ordered some drinks and and they came right away. My husband had a beer and I ordered a margarita. The margarita came with a slice of orange on top of it. This was a delightful flavor surprise. The orange added a little sweetness to the drink. We ordered and shared the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. The sandwich was very flavorful and this was plenty of food for 2 people. Today my teenaged son John and I went to Dave and busters Milpitas. He was setting up a 16tg birthday party for his gf and we both were new to the rules of reservation. We'd gone in way too early- but although we were trying to figure it all out a man standing in the from named Steven was helpful in a spectacular way!! He showed us around a bit, found us a nice table, was very informative and had a good personality. After that he even brang back over our server Jonathon -who helped out too by being both accommodating and friendly. I never thought I'd be writing a review like this, but tonight, the straw broke the camel's back. First off, the Chicken Tenders that I had were not up to standard. Most of the tender that I ate were "warm," but there was one that was cold and was possibly not cooked property. Most of the other Dave and Buster's locations that I went to didn't have this problem, but unfortunately today was the day that this happened. I spoke with the manager about this and he said that there was inconsistencies with the chicken sometimes when it was prepped by the chef, but then again, the chef should know whether or not the chicken is bad. Like it's their job, they're getting paid to serve us the food that we eat. This happened with the ribs when I ordered them the other day, but I didn't say anything at the time. Looking back, I should have brought it up, but then again, the manager would have given me the same response. Worst dinner I had to date. Only thing that is stopping me from avoiding this place are the bartenders, they really make my experience here very memorable and I appreciate their outstanding service. Second off, the games. The game selection here at Dave and Buster's has gotten worse. The fact that some of the games here at this location in particular are outdated or worse, broken/not working, are the reasons why I actively avoid this place and go to other arcades such as Round1 and Golfland USA. I don't know what's going on with corporate, but the game selection here has been very poor and I am beyond disappointed with how the games went from WOW to lame. Absolutely unacceptable. I used to love Dave and Buster's, but nowadays, I avoid this place and only go here after a long day at work. Please do better. read more

Last time I went to an arcade was 32 years ago. Wow, have things changed. All entertainment and bury for kids and adults! Likewise, food is way better. Not just pizza (boomers know where I last went). The wings are so yummy - had spicy Korean, Sriracha Honey, and Garlic Parmesan. All delicious. Lovely fresh carrots and celery. We also had the pepperoni pizza. Lots of pepperoni. Then we had the churros. And of course, beer, shots, and for me, the Long Island Iced Tea! We went and spent a bunch of time playing Halo. We arrived around 1030 on Wednesday, our first time coming on 1/2 price game day. We played for about an hour and a half, and spent about 270 credits between the 3 of us. Not a bad deal at about $15 per person for 90 minutes. All games we played were in good condition, though there were a handful of games that were down, most everything the kids wanted to play were well taken care of. Though casual American diner fare isn't typical what we go for, we did try the fried chicken sandwich and the kids had Mac and cheese and both were decent. So if you're craving this type of food, the service and quality of food is good, which is already much better than mediocre fare at similar gaming venues. Came in during a niner's game, which I think is one of the most appropriate times to come by. We ordered their $4 beers dhring football games, cantina nachos, and a few cocktails. One of the cocktails had a long strand of hair... we understood it was busy but come on. If you're coming to eat during a game, definitely try to come EXTRA early or just try getting a table at the open bar. This place has been good to me since they re-opened after Covid. Most of the staff still greets and treats me like a P1 customer. They've recently updated the food menu and it has been on point! I heard they had cooks come in from corporate to train the kitchen on the new menu items and they recalibrated the ovens and fryers to improve the food. (For a while, the food was getting pretty bad that even I wasn't eating here for a while). Kudos for making the improvements that lead to good changes. I realize that the service and be "hit or miss" when non-regular customers that come in, but that's almost everywhere these days. And, it's not as fun as it used to be during the mid 2000's or when they had their half off drink specials for happy hour, but it's still a solid place for coming in for a drink, a bite and to catch whatever sporting event is on tv. Shout out to managers Angel and Mildred for doing things right. And shout out to bartenders Sophia, Abram, Pepe and Steve (whom they should do whatever is possible to keep him there, he's definitely a rockstar and their best bartender). Cheers! read more

We were invited by friends to this entertainment place. My son and his friend played slot machines all evening, they won a lot of small prizes. I spent this time with a friend. We drank a glass of non-alcoholic mojito and ate delicious chicken legs. I was surprised by the delicious, fresh and inexpensive food here. Went to D&B on Friday night, and it seems just a I remember pre-covid. Crowded, noisy, a bit disorganized, weak but colorful alcoholic drinks, and lots of vibrant TV's for watching sports. No social distancing, and very few visitors wearing masks (probably cuz most people were eating/drinking, still it looked like pre-covid times all around), but staff wore masks. I didn't play games, but the gaming area was clean with most games lit (and hopefully in working order after such a long hiatus due to covid). For dining, it's confusing whether you have to see someone to be seated in the restaurant, so we just grabbled seats at the bar for dinner. Had a couple drinks, which as I mentioned before, were pretty weak though flavorful (I got the strawberry mango margarita). The food was pretty good. I got the fish and chips, sub green beans instead of fries. It was pretty delicious... the fish was cooked perfectly, not too much batter, and soft and juicy with a slight crisp on the outside. The green beans were seasoned well and very tasty. The service was not great at first, somewhat long wait to get someone to help us, but as soon as one of servers/ bartenders began taking our order and getting our drinks, she returned often to check if we needed anything else as we dined. Love the bright, large TV's for watching sports. And the food's pretty good for bar food. The gaming options are pretty great if you're bringing kids. Also, parking is easy with the mall lot, and D&B entrances from the outside or through the mall. Plus there are very few casual, family friendly entertainment venues that serve alcohol in this part of the south bay (so that makes D&B a great option). But due to the weak drinks (overpriced) and the limited gaming/entertainment options that appeal more to adults, I can't give more than 3 stars. read more

The wait and quality of food and drinks are just unacceptable. We waited so long for our food to come out, and they got the order wrong, and on top of that, the chicken came out raw. They took it back and brought me semi fried chicken with no effort to compensate us for the time and disgusting food. The drinks were all sugar and very little alcohol portions. I asked about fixing our drinks, and the waiter acknowledged that their bar drinks/cocktails are weak and probably should stick to beer or wine. Basically, they cheat you on your mixed drink, and they don't post prices on their menu. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because they offered 1/2 prices on their video games and they offered neat prizes and the kids played long enough for us to get new food. There are kitchen staff, bartenders, and wait staff should all be retrained and an automatic deduction of items off the bill when you serve raw chicken! read more

Even if you're not that into video games you will find something here that gets your attention. And having a cold one while playing games is a good combination. It was crowded when we were here, multiple birthday parties going on with kids running everywhere. The food was ok to me, mostly bar food, but I didn't eat too much here. All the TVs for sports is always a good idea. The restaurant area is big also, if you just want to relax and eat without all the excitement. First time customer to this location. A little disappointing, very limited game machines to play on, probably due to social distancing, but overall, not as many games as other D&B locations I have been to. For instance, there were less Coin Pusher games, the bowling game was closed, the Skee ball games were blocked or not working, basketball games were shut down, video game machines were limited as well. Restaurant and bar areas were totally full and not spacious enough to accommodate everyone if too many people were inside. This is a two-part review. The Mr & I went on a Friday before the crowd as a way to get out of the house - it was just us, kid-less. We were able to walk around, it was calm. We walked around, had our drinks and wracked up the points for the kiddo. In the moment of having fun and feeling guilty, I suggested to him that we come back with the kid to play & maybe grab a bite to eat. This trip - for the games, the drinks/service and environment, I would say it was a 4-5 stars. We went back on Saturday - early!! Guess what - it was crazy in there. Kids running around everywhere and it felt as if the pandemic was over! We went to walk the mall and said we'd come back here on our way out of the mall. When we got back, it felt like it was more packed (roughly 12:30p) We tried to reload a card to play and it seemed like none of the kiosks were working. Gave up. We decided to grab a bite to eat. Now, it's been a few years since I've eaten here and let me tell you that the food & menu have tanked. The food was way over priced and not that great. I remember they used to have a really good pasta - they don't have that anymore. I settled for chicken tenders because, you can't really mess those up, right? They were the saddest tenders I have ever seen, served with dry carrots. I tried to order a drink and today, they had chosen to card me (they didn't the day before) I had to signal for the check because we were basically forgotten and I never got an itemized receipt. Lunch for four was over $100. I learned my lesson. I will NEVER eat here. I could have eaten happily somewhere else for way cheaper and better food. Great place to go to for some fun & games with friends or family gathering with kids! Came during their happy hours for half off drinks which was super worth. One downside was they wouldn't serve all our drinks until we finished previous ones, and it was hard to get hold of the waiters since the seating was all spread out. Definitely hands down the largest D&Bs I've been to, with LOTS of space (kind of awkwardly large with lots of dead space) and a normal amount of games. Some machines and games tend to be broken or aren't working right, or the card reader has an error. There aren't a lot of staff around for you to ask for help compared to other locations. Half off Wednesdays are great. Restaurant/bar staff were nice and truffle fries were tasty. read more

The staff at this location are also very nice and patient when a machine encounters any errors or glitches! We ordered the salmon with asparagus, steak and baked cauliflower, chicken, fried potato wedges, and the chopped salad. The chicken came with melted cheese and bacon. The steak was done a bit too well for me but I was a fan of the salmon, which was surprisingly not over cooked. The salad was refreshing and contained plenty of avocado and red onions. We ordered 4 items for 4 people- kids pizza, smash burger, Caesar salad and barbacoa fries. Both of our kids items came out and 15 minutes passed by we flag down our waiter to let him know we were still missing two items. His response was - appetizers come out 15 minutes before entrees, that's how the system works- your food should follow shortly. I was confused because a kids meal is not an appetizer and my son may have ordered an appetizer but was clearly eating it as his entree. 5 minutes later the rest of the food comes, along with a manager (whom we didn't ask for). Manager was very condescending and kept repeating 'what would you like me to do?' We didn't even ask for him, we were trying to understand the system and reasoning for two members of the party to receive food and basically be finished before the adults food was even served. I guess I was wrong for assuming our order would come out at the same time. So just a warning. Maybe servers can let customers know this is going to happen and ask if we would prefer all items to come at the same time. Food is good for what is was but consistency is wasn't there. Flat bread pizza was delicious the first time, topped with A LOT of small Pepperonis that curled nicely and we're crispy when cooked in the oven, but the second time they definitely used less pepperoni and it was a different type as they weren't as small. Really hard to see flaws with this place. I came here to have a few beers and even got a suggestion from Henry for some great food, which was a crispy chicken sandwich, and it was very delicious. When it was delivered to me Henry was busy and the lady sending out the order, Alyssa, got me another beer as well which was appreciated and awesome. We came in on a Saturday night so we already knew it would be super busy, but there were still a good amount of tables available and we were able to play a lot of the games that we wanted to get to. Ordering food was made so easy (by scanning QR code) and they came out with the food pretty fast. We ordered: Double pepperoni flatbread: 8/10 definitely just like a pizza, no much too special about it Cantina nachos: 10/10 probably my favorite thing we got. It's filled with toppings and it fills all your late night cravings! Tempura popcorn shrimp: 6/10 it was ok. It was more on the chewy side and it was a bit mushy after a few minutes I would say the only downside was a lot of the games were not working and would just take your money and we would have to take turns playing some other games.
