    Loco moco
    James Y.

Coffee shop at a bowling alley. They have a wide range of food choices. I went with the breakfast for dinner. Bacon, eggs, hash brown, and toast (you can get rice instead of potatoes). Very large serving so you will not leave hungry. Bacon cooked crispy and they were pretty thick slices.

The food was pretty good this time except for the patty for the loco moco wasn't seasoned at all which kinda ruined this visit, but oh well i will be back anyways. The 2 egg breakfast my Dime had and she likeded it.

I had the liver and onions with eggs over easy. Everything was wonderfully cooked. The service was good, customer service is a must. I enjoyed the whole experience I hadn't been herein some years I will return.

The boyfriend and I were out and about, and my hungry self wanted breakfast food (it was already 1pm!). He suggested this diner and was surprised when I told him I have never been before. When we arrived, the diner -- and it really felt like a traditional diner -- was relatively empty as it was a weekday afternoon. We sat at the bar because I wanted the diner experience. Service was super quick and excellent! Our drink orders were taken almost immediately -- now that I think of it, we ordered coffee and orange juice before menus were handed to us. My date ordered the two eggs breakfast with sausages, hash browns, and sourdough toast. After reviewing the very rich menu, I couldn't make up my mind so I ended up ordering the club sandwich. It was a very good choice. Everything came out of the kitchen quickly and the presentation was truly an old school diner "feel" -- so awesome. The menu is packed with a lot of options ranging from breakfast plates to burgers to sandwiches, and even steak dinners! Would definitely recommend this spot for those who have yet to try. Can't wait to return for lunch or dinner in the near future! Support local y'all!

What a nice place to spend a Mother's Day brunch! Separate room in the back with a reserved table was nice. The food was cooked just right and tasty! Huge variety to choose from where we had a loco moco, BLT, soup of the day and more. We've come many times for weekend brunches where the waiters/waitresses are very attentive and helpful.

At first the outside did not look like much and inside looked like a typical coffee shop. This includes booths along the wall and seats on the counter. It was self seating, so we took out seats. That's when the magic started. Our waitress appeared and gave us the menu and took our drink orders. On review, the menu was extensive not your regular coffee shop menu. It had burgers and hotdogs, but also Hawaiian and Asian foods as well. We gave our orders and then noted how busy they were. Many of the counter seats and booths were filled. Apparently, we were in a working person's restaurant. Good, hearty food at reasonable prices! When the food arrived it was tasty and plentiful. It you're in the area and hungry, you may want to consider coming to to this place!

[Review written: 7/25/21] Solid diner/coffee shop vibes! Turn back time walking into this joint - plus, you could bowl, play pool/darts/video games, karaoke or drink at the bar if your heart desires! Been coming here for years - same food, vibes and staff! Deets: + Breakfast - can ask for rice with anything and have some staple Hawaiian breakfasts available (Franks N' Rice, Loco Moco, Spam & Eggs etc.) + Breakfast is served all day. + Lunch/Dinner - solid, staple goodies. FYI: Salads are massive. (well, all serving sizes are massive) + Onion rings are super YUM. If you are particular with your fries, they are medium width (not steak or skinny fries). [pandemic deets] + Outdoor seating available + Bar opens up weekend AMs to accomodate more people while social distancing + Staff is wearing masks + Sanitizer is present and is being used

The service was great! She was very attentive. Salad was fresh. But the salad dressing was very runny. The zucchini was not that great. It was deeply fried. I think they are pre made. Unfortunately! They didn't have any specials. The sandwich was ok not great. I thought it would have more flavor. But it was kinda dry. I'm just speaking faxes. Over priced! Hopefully next time the food will be a bit more flavorful.

    Country fried steak

We got the country fried steak. I didn't know anyone could mess this dish up. But holy....it was so bad and almost $20. Do not make my mistake and order that for breakfast.

Best Loco Moco outside of Hawaii! Love the old school diner feel. No frills just good consistent food and friendly service. I've searched for the best loco moco all over the bay area and this place never fails. Perfect steamed rice, char grilled patty cooked to your liking, gravy may or may not be from scratch but it's smooth not clumpy and not salty. They feature other Hawaiian breakfast staples but I'm just here for the loco moco.

I had brunch here one weekday morning and I actually ate beforehand so I only had an appetite to eat a side of eggs. The rest of the table got loco mocos which looked delicious and I thought the portion was shockingly small, but in a good way! Usually, Hawaiian meals are way too large for a human being so it was cool to see a more reasonable size plate of loco moco. The side of eggs were delicious, and I loved hanging out in an old-school diner. The waitress was so friendly and would check in with us multiple times. The diner itself was very organized and clean, and had a huge parking lot. It was in the perfect location too because our next destinations were SJC and a high school 10 minutes away. The prices of the dishes were super reasonable too. ALSO ADDED BONUS: It's also a bowling alley that starts at 9am! We could've actually ordered the food and sat at the tables overlooking the bowling alley. I definitely want to come back for brunch and bowling!

The Philly Cheesesteak wasn't really all that good. The fries weren't anything special too. The size was good for each one at least.

The lounge is easy to find and check in was a breeze. The space is large - you walk into a seating area and to the right is the bar and food. There are multiple areas to sit and even a quiet area set back from the rest. We found a seat and I ordered a sparkling Rose. Each table has a bar code that you an scan and order your drinks, they have a large menu to select from but you can only order one drink at a time. The drink arrived promplty and after settling in, we went to check out the food. The menu is not extensive, they had a salad bar, chips and dip, bar snacks, a soup and some fried rice. Not extensive but that is a relief sometimes because too many choices can be overwhelming. The onion dip was fabulous as were the bar snacks. The soup was nice and warm and mixing in some of the rice made for a very filling meal. They also have flavored water and fruit, packed and ready to go. The wine are mostly from CA but they had a couple of French wines, I also tried a chardonnay that hit the spot! There was one woman who sat right in the center of the seating area and proceeded to gossip and complain about work and her co-workers as loudly as if she was in her living room. It was long conversation and even though she was loud enough to be heard outside, no one came by to tell her to take it somewhere else. I took one star off for that - the employees should ensure that it is a welcoming place for all travelers not just the self centered ones. The best part of the visit was the dessert, they had a fluffy layered cake, covered with mousse, jam and topped with whipped cream - so good! This lounge also seems less crowded than the The Club in another part of SJC. You can buys a day pass or you can visit this place with Priority Pass. Overall a great experience and I would go back again.
