Fun and delicious! It wasn't as expensive as I expected, but you still don't want to go there on a tight budget. My granddaughter and I spent about $130 and had plenty to eat, drink and played lots of games. One feature that I really liked was that there were random little tables to set my stuff upon! The staff was quite responsive to any issues with the games. The games were all in good order and working. The games are not for little kids! Definitely for the middle school and up crowd. The prize selection was also geared to the not youngsters. The food was good, with large portions. The server was good and friendly. We have visited this restaurant multiple times because we loved it. My son and his friend tried to eat at 5:30 in the afternoon and they refused to serve them. Came here the other weekend to check out the food and games! Got seated promptly, food came out fairly quickly, server was very friendly and attentive. Only thing that took some time was our drinks. Food was great, and the giant pretzel is the fluffiest and largest pretzel I have had! Got the pretzel, nachos, chicken tenders. Nachos and pretzel sauce were very spicy, so just a heads up if you're not into that. Lots of games, a few that were not yet working. On another note, I accidentally left my phone at one of the game tables and fortunately was able to get it back from one of the workers! Overall great place, open late, great food! read more

My husband and I stumbled upon this Dave and Buster's today at the Modesto Mall. We had a great time playing the different games. I will say there were a couple that were out of order, but most worked just fine. We decided to grab lunch there as well. We sat down at a table near the bar. We watched a waitress walk past us about 4 times and didn't even look at us. We were contemplating leaving when a very friendly bartender named Andrea asked if we had been helped. She served us and was amazing. She was very busy at the bar, so I appreciated her jumping in to help us. She was so sweet! We both ordered burgers and they were great! Overall, we had a great time. Service for food was extremely slow and not friendly. Food was edible at best. Fries came our cold and pretzel cheese sauce was gross. Server barely checked on us and took 30 mins to get beer which came half through our meal. We also had to wait on our check because the server never check on us after we got our food. This is the 2nd time we've been here. My sister and I ordered the Philly cheesesteak French dip. The first time, there was a lot of meat, cheese, mushrooms and arugula. This time, it was very skimpy except for the cheese. I had 3 wilted pieces of arugula, hardly any mushrooms, the meat was hardly there and very dry. They asked if we wanted something else, but my sister wanted more meat on a plate. They said they don't do that. Then, the manager came out and apologized and offered us free dessert. The server was very nice. Atmosphere was good and they accommodated my sister, who is handicapped, with normal chairs and table. Went in at 10:30 pm last night 10/15. There was us and one other table in the entire place and several people at the bar. No idea what the servers name was she never said and we only saw her once or twice during our entire visit. Asked several times for a Dr. PepperShe acted bored and mad we were there.. Bartender got our food and we actually picked up our own drinks sitting at the bar. No napkins or silverware so again got it from the bar. Server wanted to leave so asked us to cash out...we had been waiting a half hour for it anyway. All 4 of us are servers having a drink and an appetizer after work. We went on a Thursday around 8pm and it was fairly empty, the service for drinks and appetizers was quick and the staff was friendly. It was clean, and the games were fun. It's not super huge but it took my husband and I about 2 hours to make it through the whole place. We will definitely be going back! read more

I was going to leave a horrible review. Because we had a party of 7 and everyone at my table received food and finished it except me. Finally the manager was able to get my order in but the server had my husband pay and we had boxes before I got my food. :( luckily the manager Stephen was amazing!!!!!!! He was so on top of fixing the problem that it was ok. Thank you Stephen I will be doing whatever I can to make sure you get credit for you above and beyond manager skills! This place is horrible! We arrived and was seated immediately, which was quite surprising! We waited at our table for 20 mins and no one came up to us and asked for a drink order, a food order, I'll be right with you, nothing! This is the second time I have come and the experience was horrible. They do have a lot of games to play, but I have never received such horrible experiences anywhere else. I don't normally write reviews and when I do I like to leave positive feedback. I was very disappointed with the service today. When my husband was seated no one came to our table. I was out playing with the family and he was going to order for us. The waitress would glance at him while helping other customers but not once stopped by to get our order in or even ask how we're doing. I came back 20-30 minutes later in hopes our food would be ready. Only to find out he's still been waiting. I went to the bar to order our food and thought things would improve. I was wrong. We saw a waitress bringing out our fries and I mentioned those were ours and I ordered them from the bar and but was sitting at a table. She left my fries at the bar and no response. I went to the bar to ask for my fries and by the time I got them they were cold. Not once did anyone ask for us to refill our drinks or for a box for my cold food. When my 4 year old son was walking to our table he tripped over a menu on the floor. There we menus all over the floor and tables. Not a clean or safe environment. Very disappointed with the staff and don't see myself eating there again. Do not recommend this place for eating out. read more

I seen a lot of comments regarding the wait! Yes the way was long, but we played games first rather than eat. It's super packed, and gets very warm in there. The food was decent, I had wings and garlic truffle fries. My waiter was all over the place h just a bit. If I could I would give this place zero stars I came to the winners circle and my daughter was very excited to get a stuffed animal. We asked how much the stuffed animal was and the worker informed us that it was $11.00. So when we go to purchase we are told that the price we were given was incorrect. Obviously the worker did not know what he was doing or how much anything costs. My daughter is heart broken because she thought she was going to get the stuffed animal! This place is ridiculous I was given a price of $11 and now they are telling us we have to pay $90. You guys need to train your employees better this is wrong my child is heartbroken! read more

Quoted 40 min wait for 3 people on a Saturday afternoon and I was initially suspicious that they wanted me to waste money on games first, since it didn't seem THAT busy. Oh well, games are fun, but an hour has passed and I still haven't received a text. So we go back to the front and "your table is almost ready, we just need to clean it". 20 minutes later, after seating many other parties, we still have not received a message and they keep telling us the "table is almost ready". So we decided to leave, and lo and behold, 90 MINUTES (approx) after I checked in, and I'm now at home, I receive a text that my table is ready. My son wanted to go to Dave and Busters for his birthday and it was as bad as I remembered. There was a very long black nail on our plate that we showed the waitress but were not compensated. The food is always terrible, the drinks take forever and are overpriced. I've experienced Dave and Busters in Hawaii, which is elegant and gourmet. I put in a reservation for 7:15pm and I was there at 7pm. I told them I had a table for 4 and they said they didn't have any tables open. After walking around I noticed more than 1 table open and asked again if we could sit there instead. They said the tables we're reserved for bigger parties. We wen't back to the front and asked if we could sit at some other tables that had opened up. They said they would check. We moved to the side and they began to seat other people.
