I give this wild wings location a 5. Even tho I do have my personal gripes with some days. But everyone has bad days. The staff is typically always friendly and helpful. The bartenders are great. This experience was outrageous! My family flew in for the holidays with their foreign exchange student. Granted, it was Black Friday, but our table of (4) kids under 10, (3) teenagers 16 and under and (3) adults was sat immediately in a near empty restaurant. That should have been our first clue. We were sat at 2:15pm We ordered cheese curds, fried pickles, onion rings and pretzel bite appetizers. And 4 kids meals. Along with (1) dessert, (1) cheeseburger meal, (1) 10 piece wings and and ultimate appetizer as a meal. At nearly 3:30, after having to ask for refills on WATER and kids cups- (sodas were promptly refilled but no one else was ever asked, we had to ask for every refill of water!) we were finally brought the cheeseburger meal.... After asking to please at least bring the kids food out, everything came out pretty quickly. Except everything was cold. Even my 4yr old said his grilled cheese was "not hot." When the waitress came back, we told her everything was cold. So she took the food back, and brought my sons grilled cheese back hot, yes, but still white and hardly toasted. If you're going to charge people almost $10 for a kids meal- bring it prepared properly, and in a timely manner. I may be biased- due to my years in restaurant management- but they didn't even apologize. They brought a basket of onion rings and said "I told them we should at least do something." Which ok- would have been nice.. but only 2:9 people at that table eat onions. Our bill was over $200. The LEAST you could have done was apologize. This was not originally a kitchen error, but a server error. Followed up by a kitchen and then management error. We left a 10% tip out of who we are as people. Upon entering the establishment 8/25 I was not greeted right away although the restaurant was fairly empty. It was a couple fantasy draft parties that had just started and you can tell that's where most of their attention was going. I recently visited the Modesto BWW and was warmly welcomed by the lovely Audrey. My wife and I visit BWW approximately 2-3 a month as we enjoy sitting and enjoying wings with our beer. What also helps is having exceptional service and that's what Audrey delivered to us. Even this last visit she was training and still managed to check up on us as much as possible. This place is terrible! It's so dirty the workers are rude and always high you can tell. They're so slow and the food is always cold when it comes out which is insane because it takes over an hour for food to come out every time. My beer was warm by the time I finally got it. Our food literally took an hour, & again, it truly was not busy at all! I felt bad for our server because she was having to deal with everyone being unhappy with service and the quality of food, without it being her fault. This rating has me mixed. The girl who helped us was great. She was so apologetic for the slow cook. She bought us fries and didn't charge us for drinks. We didn't ask for any of that. She was great. The food though was not. It took forever to get our food. It also didn't come out together. It came in waves. Now if the restaurant was busy I would understand that but they were slow. The brisket tacos were awful. The brisket was either several days old or severely overcooked. It was so dry I felt like I was eating jerky. The staple should be the wings. We came at the worst time and on the worst day. So everything I witnessed I assumed was situational. We came on game 3 of the Warriors and Lakers around 5 PM. It was definitely a very busy time but we were sat very quickly after about 5 minutes of waiting. Our server was extremely rushed and was taking care of a whole section and delivering food to tables. She was the best and the sweetest person ever. I felt so bad for her as she was so split and busy. The food was alright but they forgot our chicken sandwich and onion rings ... twice. They had new cooks and it was a very busy night so we gave them some slack and knew it probably was a lot for them too. Mine did not and kept giving me a server issue error. Speaking of server issue, our server was almost non existent. She never once asked us if we were good with the app or if we could place an order with her. food was wrong- I ordered my food with all drums and it came with both so the server (which wasn't even our server) had to take my food back to the back to get me my drums no manager table check- with all these issues we've had we never once got a manager, nor did one touch the table.
