This was my first time at this location. We went here because my daughter has been wanting to go to "David's" and it was her birthday celebration. She had fun in the arcade. They have plenty of arcade games to choose from. However, some machines took 'tokens' but the game never started. They should have an out of order sign on games that don't work properly. I think that they should definitely be more generous on how many tokens they put on cards considering how much they charge for it. The food was great. No complains. They were definitely big serving and very fulfilling. One thing we noticed was service was really slow. We had to look for our waiter because he didn't come back to check on us. We needed more drinks and more napkins along the way, but he didn't come. We had to stop him after he took the order from the table next to ours. Overall experience here was alright. Will visit again, but it will not be the first choice. read more

My boyfriend and I have been here several times but this last visit was awful. We came here for my birthday and the place wasn't busy at all, which was awesome. For the 4th time in a row a lot of their machines, including the giant claw machine was broken. Then we tried to play air hockey, which the game took 20 of our credits, and didn't work. We talked to a staff member and she said she would get someone out to try and fix the game. After waiting 10 mins no one showed up. I asked her again, and she says no one came yet, I said no. She radio again, and after waiting another tens minutes we just decided to play other games. We then decided to play some basketball which was fine, but then we were shooting hoops and the plastic divider on my boyfriends game I guess wasn't properly secure and the basketball hit him in the face breaking his glasses. We tried to find someone to talk to, but truthfully it just didn't appear like anyone cared about their jobs so I'm hoping this review is seen but management. To have an arcade it should be maintained properly and routinely because if not you could be playing a basketball game and get hit in the face and end up breaking your glasses. It is either really good or really bad here. No in-between. We were very patient tonight considering it's Saturday and a big football night. We waited 25 minutes to get a drink at the bar and an hour more for a table. Once we sat at our table, our waitress Diana was on it. We ordered drinks leisurely, and then food. Diana started to disappear for long periods of time...but yet I could see her occasionally, mingling and laughing with her coworkers at the end of the bar. I left my guys to watch their football and headed to the game floor to find my favorite games. All the games I sit at are out of order. Angry Birds coins, ring toss, jurassic, ax throw all on red and not in service. I stopped to play a few others and got jipped. Stole my credits and gave me no game play. Returned to the table for food, which by the way was fine. Diana went missing for the 5th time...and I was desperate to get out of there. We come here a lot for happy hour (weekdays 4-7 I think) because the drinks are around $5-6 each and delicious. They probably are low in alcohol content but they are yummy and cheap! The garlic truffle fries are also delicious and go well with drinks before playing some games. The service is inconsistent depending on who is working, as some are incredibly helpful and some you barely see. Either way it's a fun experience for happy hour on a week day! We usually finish with a tipsy walk into the mall to get a pretzel or cinnamon bun. read more

*Correction, DAVE & DUMPSTERS I am beyond taken back at how their restrooms were kept. I walked into 4 consecutive stalls and could of contracted a bacterial or viral infection. It was the most disgusting bathroom I have ever walked into. The first stall consisted of a poopy diaper on the floor and the toilet full of pee/poop/bloody tampon and too much toilet paper. The second stall had throw up from the floor to the wall. The third and fourth had pee and too much toilet paper in it with pee on the seats and floor. I was done and scared to see what the other stalls looked like, plus it smelled like poop and throw up so I had to walk out. I was at the restaurant for over 2 hours and in that time frame not one person walked in there to assess the situation and clean it. This was my first and last time at Dave & Busters. I really tried giving this place one more chance and I was gravely disappointed. I came here to meet some friends to play some games. From my past visits I knew I didn't want to eat here but I was okay with playing a few games. Maybe grab a beer or two. Playing a few games was the only highlight of the day. After being here for about an hour my friends wanted to grab a table to eat. I wasn't keen on the idea but I decided I'd give it a try. We walked up to the host and asked for a table and we were directed to sit at any table open in the bar area. It was a very dead night so we thought why not. We sat down and proceeded to converse while waiting for someone to come bring us some menus. We waited and waited and waited but no one came. After about 15 minutes I walked over to the bar and ask if we could have someone attend to us. The bartender said she would look for the guy and have him come over. We continued to wait when I saw the bartender talk to a guy about helping our table out and he just stared at us with a blank stare and walked away. At this point it had been 25 minutes or so total and were still waiting for a menu. Again we waited and waited and we had enough. We all got up and walked away. Waiting for more than 35 minutes to have someone just bring us a menu is absurd. As we left we saw a group of what I believe were mostly managers and the bartender. I advised the bartender we were leaving because the no one was helping us and began to walk out. I could see the other guys start running around like chicken without heads because they weren't aware of the issue. The kitchen manager tried to have me come back and I talked to him about the issue. He even tried to get me to come back by offering to get food started for us. But at that point we weren't coming back. It's unfortunate because I really want to like this place. But they don't have things together. That goes for the employees and management. Something needs to change. read more

I would never recommend having a party at this location. I had my son's birthday party on March 2nd at 4pm. We were taken to our tables promptly, asked what time I wanted the kids food out, and was told our server would take our order for drinks and adult food. 4:20 and runners bring our food, I ask for our server and I'm told they're on their way. Bartender wouldn't even give us water, told us to ask our server. 4:30 a young lady walks over and asks if we've been helped. When I tell her no, she says, "I guess I'll be your server" I quickly ordered food and drinks because the hungry adults had already eaten most of the kids food. The little food we had was good, but we were never given the chance to order more. I cleared the table, along with one of my guests so that we could sing to my son and cut his cake. Server came over with an attitude and moved the cart away that we were putting dishes on. I took this chance to ask for cake plates. Every party around us had an announcement when it was time for cake, but I guess we needed a server for that. I sent my son to gather our guests for cake. In the middle of cutting the cake, the Assistant Manager approaches and wants us to take care of the bill. I asked for the gratuity to be removed because of the horrible service and she said ok.... never asked what the issue was. I tipped, because that's the kind of person I am, but nowhere near the 20% they suggested. I was unbelievably embarrassed as a host because of the horrible service we received. Located off Tampa Ave in Northridge on the 2nd level next to CPK. It's a two level D&B although the bottom level is nothing but the counter to buy your card or have any questions. Once walking up the stairs you have the restaurant and bars. There is also a billiards area. Then you have arcade and gaming area pretty simple set up. Actually came here to visit a friend who is a server there. I actually ate in the bar area and got the Mac and cheese which was yummy it had bacon and chicken mixed with it. We don't live locally so it's a drive to get here. We have only been there three times and each time it gets worse. We had to flag down the waitress to get menus, order drinks, or ask about food. She never once checked on us...even as she walked by our table. I didn't set out to complain but when the manager came by to ask how everything was going I was honest. We also had proof of vaccination but security told us it wasn't required just yet. Masks are still being enforced so that's great to know as far as making sure we're being as safe as possible. The Good- The place itself is pretty nice. The Cons- 1) Service was friendly but had not idea what was going on. Some food came out on time, some food came out 25 minutes late(after most were already done eating), some extra food that was not our showed up and some food never made it. This was very frustrating and took forever. 2) The security guards seem to have an attitude problem. 3) Don't even bother talking to the corporate office as they do not care. 4) You need to use a credit card like item to play the games but the card did not work multiple times. Ive never been to dave and busters but I wanted to take my wife on an impropmptu date. I always thought that d&B was a place for adults to play games without kids. My first impression was the girl at the front recetion area had a horrible attitude. Very short with her answers even after I told her we've never been there. We asked about boosting our tokens and she didnt really give us any information. Went upstairs to the gaming area and imagine my surprise when it was full of kids and kids games. We went to go play a few games and half of them were busted. Im assuming it has a lot to do with hwo many kids were there. A few times the games scanned our card and didnt even work. Then we went to go eat and my drink order and my wifes food order were wrong. I will say even though the waiter didnt listen very well he had a good attitude. This place is basically Round One with a bunch of drunken bros and over priced sugary cocktails. this place sucks. read more

Based on coming here Tuesday night ordering drinks & playing games, I'd give this place a 4.5 star rating! I'm a sucker for watching sports and playing games. Dave & Buster's was the perfect venue to watch the Dodgers game. The bar was filled with people watching the game. It was hard to get the bartender's attention. There were hardly any seats but thankfully we found some. Ps: The Dodgers Won :) Drinks- Drinks are pretty delicious. They have a variety of specialty cocktails that are unique, delicious, and very pretty. We ordered the Strawberry Watermelon Margarita- tequila, Watermelon Pucker, lemonade and strawberry-flavored ice cubes. It was rimmed with green salt. It was so yummy! We also ordered 2 Gin and Tonics, and a Sour Apple. That bill ended up being only $12 because it turned into their Late Night Happy Hour! Scoreeee! Sun-Thu 10 pm- 12 am I love places with specials and Happy Hour and Dave & Busters has specials every day. Taco Tuesdays, 1/2 price games Wednesday, Cheaper drinks Thursday, and of course HH. Our bartender was also really attentive and very friendly. Experience- We played about 7-8 games for around $25. I think it's pretty reasonable. Your experience really depends on which games you're playing. I'm into the more active games like air hockey, throwing the baseball on the clown heads, fruit ninja lol, and bowling. But it's really hard to win enough tickets to get something nice from the store. I think that's one of my main issues with Dave & Busters. My second issue is that the place isn't as clean as it should be. I feel like there should be napkin dispensers everywhere and antibacterial wipes. It's kinda gross when you think about all the people touching the same things. Regardless, my experience was really fun and I'll definitely be back. So my mom is 65 years old and we were about to go home when she fell on the last step ... I immediately turned around to help her up all the workers were just looking not one person asked her is she was ok or even wanted water... All of a sudden this female security Guard came up to us and again didn't even think to ask if she is ok ... All she said was I was watching the whole thing and she missed the last step it wasn't our fault that she fell... my mom is so embarrassed that all she wanted to do was get up and run home . Then the manager came out and tried to be nice to help us a little but still the security guard kept on repeating over and over that it's my mom's fault and it's not theirs. Me and my husband lifted her up with no help from anybody else and they didn't even tell us to sit a few minutes to see if she's OK they just let us walk out. The manager told me if we wanted to see a footage of the video we need to file a police report. ( which that's what I'm going to do ) And today they called me and told me that there is no way I can see the footage and that she doesn't understand why the manager would even tell me something like that... anyways from here on I'm gonna do my research...
