I just wanted a bottle of water. But I was made aware that they are very dog friendly and dogs are happily welcome down the inside. They offer breakfast starting at 7:30 AM, which is perfect after a Walker run around the golf course. But they also have our food which is chicken nuggets, french fries, hamburgers, etc.. Someone in the kitchen is a little heavy-handed with the salt. So tell them to take it easy if you are salt sensitive like I am. The toast came with my breakfast and it was burnt. So I sent the salty eggs back with the toast and ask them to redo it. They redid the whole meal for me and it came back perfectly. I will be coming back here with some friends. The place is incredibly dirty. It feels like it hasn't had a deep clean in weeks, maybe longer. The bar top was disgusting, the floors were grimy, and even the woodwork looked like it hadn't seen a rag since opening day. They are charging $17 for "signature cocktails," which is bold for a spot that feels like a neglected dive bar. If you're going to charge premium prices, you have to at least wipe down the countertops. Service-wise, the bartender was friendly enough but low energy and minimal level of service. To make matters worse, a shift change happened while we were there, and the departing bartender made us close out our check and start a brand-new one with the next person. Why should the staff's administrative hand-off be the customer's issue? It's just unprofessional. The Valley has so many actual dive bars with character and plenty of high-end spots for a great cocktail; I'm not sure where this place is trying to fit in.
