Not coming back for sure! Tejanos here I come.

They're good at charging, but will forget about your order. SMH I don't think I will be coming back.

Amazing regular marg. And the bartenders are awesome and attentive to all your drink needs.

Awesome. Recommend for a good and lowkey time. Especially if you want to go on a date night for drinks.

Candelas Sports Bar is fairly new, they took over for the Witches Brew Bar that was in the space prior. I never got to see inside the Witches Brew but I do believe that the inside had been renovated and fixed up for Candelas and I was excited to stop by and see. My friend and I met up there for a drink in the early evening and staff was very friendly and welcoming. The bartender Diana frequently checked on us to see if we needed anything, and we had a nice conversation with her. There is a jukebox in the bar which I think you can play songs with your phone, but also they had Tvs going with music playing. I loved all the song picks. I had the Moscow Mule and my drink was perfectly made. I was told that they have a Latin Night (I can't remember if it's Fridays or Saturdays) and they have dancing! When we were leaving around 8pm we saw a DJ setting up. I took photos of the signs so everyone can see when they have their Happy Hour! In addition one of the most important things for me is that As a female sometimes I want to stop by somewhere to just have a drink without feeling akward or weird that I'm alone, let's say after a hard day of work, or just randomly to get out, and I do think Candelas is a safe space that I would be able to do this comfortably! I definitely Looking forward to going again in the future! Also at this time they only take cash or zelle, so come prepared with either of those!

I have been here a couple times over the course of months. The ambiance is great, there are djs you can request songs to and even sometimes live mixed music including salsa.(although I'm not too sure of the schedule for the entertainment) I know they do karaoke sometimes aswell. All the drinks I have tried have been amazing and the service has always been great also. Something that I do not look forward to is going to a bar/nightclub and having to use the bathroom as most of the time it's dirty, but that has never been the case at candelas. Overall this is a great place with great prices and promotions. Only thing I would say is that I wish they served food aswell.

I don't know what's so hard about giving advance notice, like a ten minute warning, or using an ounce of kindness. The workers were super rude to people who were just vibing and drinking- still spending money at this place- by demanding they finish their drink now and leave. It really put a bad taste in my mouth. A friend had gone to the bathroom, so we tried to explain we were waiting for them, but they continued to be rude about us needing to get off the property. The friend came out right after this, so we could be like "see, we really did have a friend inside still". I probably will not come back just based on that interaction. By comparison, the second location we hit up was firm about closing time, but gave us notice and warning in advance and were not rude about it. It's not that hard. It's too bad- vibes were cool. They allow outside food, dogs, and I think have food trucks.

Located in a nondescript commercial park, HBB delivered on a variety of items, including some outstanding in house-produced beer, seltzer and some delicious homemade pizzas. There are several large flat screens showing local sports (Dodgers Baseball), as well as tons of board games, pinball machines and live event activities such as themed nights, live music and comedy. Also featured on this Saturday night was free live BINGO from 7-9pm, which made the event a lot of fun. The Honey Hand Blonde is fantastic! Deliciously smooth and really tasty. Some of the other local crowd favorites are Deez Nuts Brown Ale, Not a Giant Peach, and Eddie's Irish Stout. The in-house beers were great and worth exploring. Angie, the bartender, was so nice and let us try a few samples before ordering. The pizzas are delicious! Hot, fresh, great toppings and crust. A limited food menu, stick with a classic Cheese or Pepperoni, along with a Meat Lovers to enjoy with friends while watching sports or catching live entertainment. The bathrooms are gender neutral and clean compared to most Gastropubs, and there is a ton of free street parking out front. She said and I quote, "it's supposed to have mold. It's a sour beer." Why do this to people? Was she not trained? New? From google: Drinking a sour beer with significant mold on the cork may cause allergic reactions (sneezing, coughing) or gastrointestinal distress, such as stomach cramps, diarrhea, or nausea. While beer's alcohol and acidity generally prevent dangerous pathogens from surviving, mold can produce toxins. It is best to dump the beer if mold is extensive. Potential Consequences and Risks: Health Reactions: Individuals sensitive to mold may experience immediate respiratory symptoms like congestion, as well as potential stomach discomfort. Mycotoxins: While unlikely to be immediately fatal in small amounts, mold can produce harmful toxins with potential long-term health effects. Off-Flavors: The mold will likely ruin the taste of the beer, causing it to taste stale, overly metallic, or damp. Contamination: If the mold has penetrated the bottle, it indicates significant contamination, making it unsafe to consume. How Long Does Canned Beer Last? It's a small place and the decor didn't really feel like it matched the vibe, and the karaoke set-up was not very good. It was really hard to hear the backing music, even when you were the one singing, but this isn't the type of place that you come to "perform" for karaoke like a lot of other places in LA. It's very casual and low-pressure. Song choices were all over the place (which isn't necessarily a good or bad thing). Late night happy hour menu was decent and they offered it from 9pm on that night, and the place did get packed to standing room only. I had a hard time finding info on what their happy hour was before we went, so I took a picture to share. This was on 2/6/2026. The bartender, Brian, was very friendly, but I realized when looking at the emailed receipt afterwards that he switched one of my sibling's drinks on my tab, and I'm assuming mine got put on theirs. We have the same last name, so I understand the mix-up, but it would have been nice if he just asked about who was who instead of assuming, and it also would have been nice to see an itemized receipt before paying instead of just seeing the dollar amount we owed. Not a huge deal this time, just something that I hope they will keep in mind in the future. For food, my partner was able to get a pizza from a place across the street and bring it back into the bar, and Brian was kind enough to offer extra napkins. For other people with back problems, be aware that their bar stools do have back rests on them, but no cushions. We had a good time, and this bar seems to host special events regularly, which we may go back for eventually if the right one comes up, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back here.

My three-star rating is based solely on the service provided by one particular waitress. Unfortunately, her level of attentiveness has become somewhat of a running joke among our group of 4 because there is almost always something forgotten or mixed up with our order. During our visit today, she brought a beer to our table that none of us had ordered. She insisted that I had personally come up to the bar and ordered it. I politely explained that I had not left my seat at all and that my current beer was still nearly full. Rather than acknowledging the possibility of a mistake, she responded, "I'm pretty sure it was you, but okay." To make matters worse, the beer was ultimately added to our bill despite none of us ordering it. I completely understand that mistakes happen, especially during busy shifts. However, arguing with a customer over an order they did not place and then charging them for it is not acceptable customer service. The food and atmosphere are the reasons we keep coming back, but experiences like this take away from an otherwise great establishment. I hope management addresses the issue so the service can match the quality of the food.
