This is by far the worst bowling establishment I've ever been to. Me and fiancé were disrespected by the Manager and some employee named Erik (Erick). When I proceeded to ask for information about them they REFUSED to give it to me. Me and fiancé were attacked on a racist level and I recommend not going to this establishment if you respect yourself and your loved ones. This is a BAR establishment as well so if you want to be made bad by drinking and being adults and having fun then this is the place to go. The behavior and demeanor that we experienced is unacceptable. NO person in a managerial position should be able to treat customers differently because of their race. THERE WAS A LADY WALKING DOWN THE LANES, and my husband was spoken to for throwing his "ball too hard" . I'm sorry but if your engineers can build a bowling alley to support bowling balls then why are you in business? And if you don't support adult behavior then don't have a BAR. We sat down upstairs in one of the booths by the bar area. We literally waited 15 minutes before my husband decided to hunt down the bartender and let him now we were there. The bartender said he'd said someone right away so we waited.. 10 minutes later and we're still waiting... My husband then went to hunt a waiter down and found out that they were just standing around talking. She then walks over and apologizes and takes our orders. We get food rather quickly and she barely comes around to ask if we're doing okay. Service was crappy and the only reason we stayed and spent our money there was because I work in the district and everything else was closed. I'm never coming to this location ever again. What can ya say about food, drinks, games, and prizes! Good things! I gave a three stars for the following reasons: 1.) Came into the dining room on the first floor with a party of 12 (mind you we called ahead), ordered drinks & appetizers that didn't take too long to come out. Nachos, calamari, and atrichoke dip... they were okay - average. Drinks... I ordered the Watermelon Coronita-Margarita drink which was pretty delicious, it is a definite must try. Comes with your own little bottle of Coronita flipped upsidedown in a Margarita. Also tried the Banana Split drink. This drink is DELISH! 2.) Ordered dinner.... Most of the entrees came out in a timely fashion. Except my Mom's. She ordered the Bacon-Wrapped Sirloin Medallions & Grilled Shrimp Skewer things - they took at least 10 minutes longer to come out, I had to go request for a Manager because the Waitress wasn't checking in with us about it at all. (She's another story...down the line.) Mom finally gets her order, asked for it medium-rare, and it comes out rare. I mean rare. I'm surprised it was cooked-looking on the outside! She sends it back, asks for medium. It comes back out another ten minutes later... it's well done. She takes a few bites. It's not good. She's had enough, over it. I send it back for her, ask for it to be removed from the bill. 3.) Waiting....waiting.... where's the waitress?? Have you seen her? For the beginning of our arrival, she was attentive. Towards the end, mind you the dining area is less busy than it was when we got there, she was just not around. Oh there she is, finally! Can we have our bill?....Wait another ten minutes... Okay we don't even want to look at it just take it, swipe it, lessgo play games... At least she was nice? Took a couple family pics for us! 4.) Games were fun. I went here a few times back when it was still Jillians. It's changed alot now that it's Dave and Busters. I've been to this location twice now that it's Dave and Busters. December 2011 visit: We had an office work party on a Friday night this past December. We planned the event only a month beforehand, so our choices were limited where our table could be. It was either the bowling lanes downstairs or the table upstairs right in the heart of all the video gaming. If you plan to have an office party/event here, now I know that you plan a few months in advance. December gets to be a really busy time for holiday parties, so no procrastinating! I didn't expect much from the food at a game place, but i was pleasantly surprised. You cannot go wrong with the make your own taco plate. They serve the taco plate - fajita style, so you get your flour/corn tortillas with separate toppings on a a platter. Since I ordered mine with shrimp, which come on a skewer, I didn't feel so over-bloated that I couldn't play games. The artichoke dip was a good appetizer. There's even an appetizer that combines beef sliders with hot wings so you don't have to make a choice between the two. The sliders aren't amazing, but they are good. April 2012 visit: Although back in December, for the office holiday party, it wasn't too crowded around 7pm, when I returned for my husband's birthday (well the day after his birthday) on April 14th, on a Saturday, the place was super packed! When I called the restaurant beforehand to see if it was crowded on Saturday night, the hostess said it wouldn't be a problem to seat 6 of us around 7-ish, but boy was she wrong.We had to wait a whole hour after we got there at 7pm to get seated at the restaurant downstairs. After dinner (close to 9:30pm), there was a line wrapping all the way to the stairs just to get game cards. It was too crowded to move anywhere since there were kids running everywhere with their parents. It was sheer pandemonium! We still had fun, but expect huge crowds on Saturday nights. I usually like to go here just because of my kid birthday but tonight the guy who work there in the virtual stand is so rude. First I didn't complaint when half of the machine just took my money ( swipe the card and it said ready but then nothing is working or no ball come out ) happened 4 times tonight. And when my son want to get on the virtual machine no one was there so I pressed the bottom and no one come so I pressed again ( we don't know if the bell is working or not because there was no light or sound ) and then this guy finally come and said you don't have to pressed bottom many times with very rude tone. Honestly this place is not for food. I ordered three appetizers and compared to what is pictured on the menu, you basically get micro bite portions that hardly have any meat and flavor at that. The street corn quesadilla is a sad excuse of a menu item and it's a street taco size flour tortilla cut into four pieces, I mean come on! The potstickers is four pieces that is basically just a frozen soy sauce heated up Asian disaster. Lastly , the chicken wonton that has 4 pieces, has about one table spoon of chicken "meat" split into stale chips loaded with dry veggies . Dave & Buster's is the dream of every adult who is still a kid at heart. For all the arcade enthusiasts, sports fans, and those who like to have drinks at a bar followed by some virtual racing, this place is the bomb. Back in my hometown, a place like this doesn't exist and when visiting Arizona, I needed to give it a try. Although there were plenty of kids making their way around when we went, we didn't feel out of place by going here. Note: We didn't spend any time downstairs and were by the bar and arcade the majority of the time. I highly recommend looking up any online deals. We were able to use one to get over a hundred points (not sure on the exact number) on our Dave & Buster's card for a little over $20 and there were enough points that I still had plenty over left over after an hour. Tickets were relatively easy to win and the prizes were extensive. For me, I wouldn't come here for the dining experience. The bar had some good drinks and the fries were some of the best I've had but, based on the orders of my friends, the fries and drinks are what I would limit myself to when not enjoying the arcade. Hope to see what the locations in other states are like because of how many leftover points I have. read more

Honestly, I came here just for the arcade and it seemed very limited if you compare it to Castles & Coasters. One machine also ate a lot of our credit and we reported it but the technician never arrived. Whenever a machine doesn't work properly at C&C and you report it, they're on it ASAP. In addition to that, the multiplayer game mode on some machines was not programmed so games where you could play multiplayer on normally like at C&C was not programmed properly here. D&B also has pool tables in the back on the 2nd floor and a restaurant on the 1st floor. A bar with the arcade is on the 2nd floor and I believe you can order food there as well. It was a mediocre experience. I would much rather have eaten dinner somewhere else and then have gone to Castles & Coasters. I actually will do that next time. And probably do mini golf too. I mean if you're a fan of pool and like beer and have kids this is probably the place for you. If you like the arcade and want to spend most of your time there, go to C&C. read more

Jillian's is hard to put a finger on because it's so many things. Upscale arcade and bowling, dance club, bar, pool hall and a couple different restaurants. For the purpose of my review, I'm going to focus on the arcade. I'm a skee-ball fiend and it has some premium lanes. The whole arcade is very clean and well maintained. It can be pretty crowded with families of kids but you have to remind yourself that you are on their turf. The downside is that Jillian's uses one of those "credit card" point systems that makes it a little harder to keep track of how much you are actually spending on games. What a terrible experience. Do NOT BRING A GROUP. It took 3 hours for 16 of us to order drinks get our first round. Order dinner. Get our dinner. Then get our checks. Then pay. The server was all alone with no help. He was totally out of is element. After the 3rd person went to the manager it seemed they sent some help and then came over to give us complimentary cards to play games. Only half the cards worked and the ones that did only worked for about a 3rd of the games. Every bar was under staffed. Dave and busters has a few different areas that you can eat at. You can eat downstairs in the restaurant or the bowling alley or the sports bar or upstairs in the arcade where it's open seating. We had dinner in the arcade so our kids could play some games. There are so many arcade games to choose from. And I really like how you can use one card to play the games and all the tickets go on that card too. The food was not excellent but we were there mainly to play games anyway. We went back a couple days in a row while on vacation so the kids could play games and they really enjoyed it. read more

Yet movie theaters, parks, gyms, pools, are closed or at least attempting some sort of social distancing. Dave n busters did very very little of that. I was shocked. I bring my daughter here on wednesdays since it's half off games. We easily spend 4 hours here at a given time. That way momma gets a cocktail and kids have a blast. Ive been coming here for the past few years now. Ever since I just started highschool, I loved coming here. It was mostly a get away for when I had stress in my life. I come around every Wednesday to play some DDR with my friends and its a nice breath of fresh air from the real world. We did encounter a problem recently with a family insulting us and threatening us and the manager handled it very professionally. Now I definitely know if I ever run into trouble at my favorite place to go, ill be safe! The staff is great and has never been a problem along with food service. There's a really nice lady at the bar that gives us water during our DDR sessions and it's really thoughtful of her! I always keep the little things close to me. This was more of just a personal experience I've had here. It's hard to say negitive things about a place I've been coming to for years. Even if I have had a negitive encounter, it's not something the staff can control. Sometimes people are just very rude especially with the times now. Two suggestions for management though: please clean more thoroughly-honestly every surface in the bowling area was greasy, tables, chairs, doors, counters, all greasy and sticky. Secondly, our entire group was without drinks for 15 minutes, no server to be found, no bartender, no one at bowling counter, only one employee walked through and when I asked for help he indicated that someone will be coming soon. Horrible. Absolutely unprofessional. I went here on a trip for work and the staff was so inattentive. I ordered a basket of fries and we sat there for an hour waiting for them to come just for them to never show up. My coworker asked about the fries and turns out we had a completely different server than the person who took our order. I told another employee and she didn't seem to care. Also they accused my coworker of leaving his tab open when he actually just paid in cash. The management is terrible and it's complete chaos. Never had an experience as bad as this.
