    Roseville location at The Fountains

Sips and Bites w/ friends [Roseville CA] The last time I was here was 12 years ago... whoa, that long ago! Time for an update. Thanks to the fearless four who made it to D&B and joined me and Jean for a last minute sips and bites at The Fountains in Roseville. The place was full and busy at peak dinner time. We planned to meet at 6:00p. As soon as our group was complete we hung out at the bar until a table opened up. There was a bit of a wait. All of us ordered drinks at the bar and some also ordered apps. This place is like the adult version of Chuck E Cheese and so with music, flat screens and conversations all around you can just imagine the noise level. Yes, we were all screaming at each other just trying to hear each other LoL! I ordered the Cheesy Spinach Dip and it was very good or maybe I was just hungry. They must've been shorthanded in staff because many empty tables were left uncleared for sometime. We could've gotten a table sooner. It was still fun hanging out with Erly and Arnel, Jackson, Joseph and Jean! Review #0166 updated

This last minute get together was great. This is the second time ever I've been to a UYE and I had a lot of fun. I went to a D&B when in So-Cal last week and still had a card with credits on it. So I decided to delay my gym time to hang out with some awesome Yelpers I haven't seen in a while and to use the credit. We all got here a little after 6 pm and put our name down to get a table, which had a bit of a wait time. While waiting, our group decided to go to the bar area for drinks and small bites. I opted to play a few games and machines and ended up winning a few items, which found homes with May and Jean. I ordered the No Kick blueberry mule, which is a mocktail with blueberry, premium Curtis sour, ginger beer and lime. It tasted great and I really enjoyed it. You taste the sourness and blueberry. I ended up eating some sirloin from their dine and play menu, quick tasted great. We ordered medium rare, but got more medium. It came with a side of onion straws and mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon bits. Overall, great hangout and I had fun hanging out with Jean, May, Erly, Arnel & Joseph. Thanks to Jean and May for planning this abruptly. Edit: experience with d&b itself was okay. Could've been a lot better.

*EDIT...The review I originally wrote was for the UYE page for the UYE itself. After writing the review for the UYE, somehow, Yelp changed the entire business page to be Dave & Buster's. The review I wrote was not for D&B. Never in my life did I expect to see my name on a UYE! But today, I dreamt it and May helped make it happen. Today, it was the Super 6 - May, Erly, Arnel, Jackson, Joseph, me - hanging out and dining at Dave and Buster's in Roseville. I was so happy that the Super 6 were able to hang out, especially since it was planned last minute. We hung out at the bar area getting drinks and snacks until our table was ready. We tried the 10oz. Sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and fried crispy onions. The steak was over the desired doneness, but the mashed potatoes and crispy onions were good. Everyone got a drink and had a good time. Jackson was killing it in the arcade area, especially with the claw machines. Thanks to May for helping to create a page on the Yelp app. Thanks to the Super 6 for showing up, bringing good vibes, and being great company. Until the next one!

As a grandmother of 10, I'm always looking for affordable, fun places for the whole family. Dave & Buster's has great games, but the hidden costs and terrible food make it a rip-off. * Sneaky Pricing: Cocktail menus lack prices. My drink had an unexpected upcharge, turning a $12 cocktail into a $20 weak drink. * The Arcade: The games are fun, but the card system masks how much you're spending. Instructions are poor, so you waste money just learning how to play. The prize ticket values are a joke--the prizes are Dollar Store quality, but you spend a fortune to earn them. * The Food: Avoid it. The burger patties taste like bottom-tier scraps, and the frozen boneless wings are mediocre at best. Worse, every time we've visited, someone ended up sick to their stomach. The grandkids loved the games, but we ended up recreating arcade games at home with Dollar Store prizes instead. Save your money!

This is located at the Fountains Shopping Center, which can be difficult to find parking. It's one of the smaller Dave & Busters, but I so appreciate the nice staff, overall cleanliness of the place, and updated games. The biggest win for me is the All you can play game deals (ofc you can't win tickets on specific tiers, but it's nice to know you can use the all you can play game cards at various locations. This was my first time at this specific location and won't be my last.

Have you been to a Dave & Buster? You have? Okay, my first time, and it feels kinda familiar. Feels like a casino, but for toys/prizes. Perfect if you want to grab a beer, some food, watch a game, and keep the kids entertained, too. Lots of lights and sounds to dull the senses. I always thought you have to order food, but my friend said no, you can just walk in and play the arcade games, carnival games, claw matches, etc. I have to say it was exciting to see people win prizes; however, I'm personally not really into it. After a quick stroll around, I wanted to be outside again. Located inside the Fountain complex.

Food was really good and came out super hot and surprisingly quick! We had the spinach dip, chicken bbq pizza and the southwestern bbq burger All the food was a 10/10 Our server was very attentive , They were busy but that didn't stop our waitress from being on it! Thank you Heather

Literally the worst experience- the internet went out and we lost TONS of tokens from malfunctioning machines. I had to ask for help FOUR TIMES and still didn't get my tokens back. The games didn't work for most of our time there - and we got cheated with the Star Trek game. On top of that - wow - NO TABLES were clean! It was a dump! The bus boy just lounging around. We waited forever for bad food / and the tables had garbage and food on them for OVER AN HOUR!! This place is terrible. The crane came also cheats. FYI.

Service was good from the moment we walked in. Food was really good for a kids game place. Will definitely be back.

We had family staying in town for Christmas and needed to find a place to eat. We saw that Dave and Busters was open and decided to go. Walked in around 6pm and was able to get a table for our group of 10. Since it was a weekday, they were still serving happy hour drinks. For $5 bucks there were some good choices like the Long Island. The menu had your typical American bar/diner dishes. Service was amazing. Our server was so friendly and patient handling our big group. We didn't feel rushed and got refills easily. There were decent amount of games. We've been to bigger Dave and Busters and this one was definitely smaller. We got 1200 tickets for prizes, and the prize choices weren't bad. Our family had fun eating and playing the various arcade games. It was a great way to close out our Christmas Day.

Summer passes are great only if you're not playing for tickets because it caps out every week. The silver pass gets you unlimited games but you can't redeem any tickets if you play ticket games and it's blacked out on Fridays at 5pm and all Saturdays and Sundays. Gold pass doesn't have black out dates, gives you unlimited games, and the cap out for tickets is 1000 weekly. Platinum also has no black out dates but caps out at 2000 tickets a week. Tickets are to be earned when you play the game, not automatically given. Each tier gives you a percentage off their food menu items excludes all alcohol drinks. My kids love ticket games so we decided not to go with the summer passes. They each racked up over 4K in tickets within 2 hours of playing. The food is great, service is friendly, place is nice. Why I minus the one Star is because some of the machines are kinda broken. There is a 30 sec swipe delay after each swipe game. We waited almost a minute to swipe again but some of the machines would take the game chips but didn't let us start or play the game. We had to keep track of those machines and avoided them. Other than that everything was great, just wished most of the machines didn't glitch and some machines were out of order which was a bummer.

The food is delicious, all the games work and tables and floors are clean, the servers and game techs are always very alert and very responsive to help and satisfy customers. It's very lively inside. I highly recommend this location !!

This is a good place to grab a drink and kick back. Service is quick, the place is pretty clean, and it's a fun, lively environment. I've never tried the food, but the drinks are good and it's a great spot to relax and have some fun.

Ask the Community - Dave & Buster's Roseville

Does the age policy where if you are a minor you need to be accompanied by someone who is at least 25 years old at this Roseville location?

Hey there! All ages are welcome! All minors just need to be accompanied by a guardian. There is no curfew.

Does this location do wicked Wednesdays like the Milpitas one? Meaning half off games, drinks, & dj? Thank you

Hey Andrew! We do have 1/2 Price Games on Wednesdays.

Thinkin about a birthday dinner for my 14 year old daughter...need to know about hours. Also do we need masks while playing games? Possibly a Wednesday or Friday night.

Masks are required everywhere in the building unless you are eating at your table. Sunday-Thursday hours are 11am-10pm. Friday-Sat hours are 11am-12am (Midnight). Much of the food is big enough for two people to share. 🙂

Are there any vegan-friendly options on the menu?

They have salads!! You can request their special dietary menu with more options.. it also has suggestions for anyone with food allergies.

    Happy hour specials?

M-Th 3-7 and 9- close. I can't remember if there is anything from 9- close the other days though. $1 off beer, wine, half off cocktails and some specials on appetizers.

My first call went unanswered, and there wasn't an answering service. On my second call, I was able to leave a voicemail. When I called Pain Killers, a kind woman answered within two rings. I explained that I was looking for a venue to host a memorial gathering. She let me know that the person who could best assist me wasn't available but offered to take my number and have them return my call. Within 30 minutes, Austin called me back. We discussed what we were looking for, and as you can imagine, it's not an easy conversation to have with someone you've never met. From the very beginning, Austin's kindness and compassion stood out. His exact words were, "We want to be here for you during this difficult time." Those weren't just words--I could genuinely feel his sincerity, not only during that phone call but in every text message we exchanged over the following week. Each time I reached out, I'd say, "Ok, Austin, last question," only to think of another one shortly afterward. No matter how many times I contacted him, he remained patient, understanding, and accommodating. He answered every question, responded promptly, and never once made me feel like I was asking too much. In the end, it was decided to keep the entire day's gathering at a church rather than the mortuary, so we didn't end up going to Pain Killers. Even so, I wanted to recognize Austin for the exceptional level of customer service and genuine compassion he showed during one of the most difficult times. The next time I'm in the Rocklin area, I plan to stop by, say hello to Austin, and make sure to give Pain Killers some well-deserved business. Thank you, Austin, for reminding me that kindness and empathy still go a long way.

First thing you noticed is the bread was not toasted at all. It had a couple of brown stripes on one side only. When you open the sandwich, the lettuce was wilted, and the tomato was absolute mush, like it had been old and laying around for hours. The worst thing, though, were the avocados. 2/3 of the avocados were dark, gray or black. Obviously not a good avocado, but yet they managed to cut it up and serve it. And the last thing that was disappointing, was the fact that the bacon was in one wad in the center of the sandwich and not laid out on the sandwich. Just a wad that had to be disassembled and spread out. It looks and feels and sounds to me that that kitchen needs some discipline. Don't use old food! If the client asked for mayo, put it on the damn sandwich like they requested. Everything points to that cook being in one heck of a hurry as it was obvious everything was done down and dirty with little to no concern or care for presentation or freshness. I called this evening to let the manager know and I will call the general manager tomorrow. I believe they said his name was Joe? This is my second time at Maguire's as a local and I'm absolutely not impressed. There's a sign up when you walk in that says please wait to be seated. There are a couple of benches there so I sat down and waited yet I could not get the attention of anybody. It wasn't that busy. A few people walked in and managed to get seated. I talked to a couple of the waitresses asking if I could check on my to go order and was met with I'll get back to you. Eventually, I cornered one of the gals and there was my to go order sitting in a bag next to their Station. Something needs to be done about promptness also and managing and monitoring that entry station. I sure hope they can pick up their service and pick up their quality of food. Mike Vogt

All craft beer and I could definitely taste the quality of the brew! The staff was very friendly and the one gentleman that helped me was so great about letting me try different beers so I could pick the one I wanted to order. When you get service like that; repeat, order, enjoy. I ordered a 2nd pint mostly because I was interested in trying some more of their beers. They had great lunch specials with some diverse options that included lighter and healthier options for a very reasonable price. I ordered the Angus beef sliders, and I asked for them to be cooked, medium rare if possible. If you know sliders, you know that they are difficult to do a medium rare, but this chef came through; my sliders were a very nice medium, rare, juicy and delicious! The caramelized onion was beautiful, just very yummy. Well, darn, it got a little busy 3:00 ish and here I am writing this fabulous review and I think he forgot to bring me my 2nd pint of beer? I reminded him and he brought it right away! I don't drink beer very often anymore, but it was just that kind of day, and a cold beer sounded good. I tend to like lighter bodied craft beers with a strong ABV, but not too fruity and limited dankness. I enjoyed a pint called Flying Fortress it was a single IPA and then another called, Present Tense, = Hazy Single IPA. I would definitely recommend this place and plan to return.

I enjoyed my burger and fries. It was a good deal as a lunch menu item, which is offered until 3 p.m. The fish tacos were decent (maybe a little on the bland side) but still a nice option to have. The wings were dry, which our kid said isn't usually the norm since they order them regularly, but the mac 'n cheese balls were a hit, as usual. Service here is friendly, and the hostesses were warm and welcoming when we first walked in. Our server, Jessica B., was friendly and accommodating, offered solid recommendations, and checked in with us frequently without being overbearing. Our biggest bone to pick, though, was with the chairs in the outdoor seating area. All three of us were uncomfortable and hurting after a relatively short amount of time. I'd definitely recommend grabbing a booth inside, and that's what we'll likely do.

Original review: Seems Everytime we come now there's issues. This time we just walked out! I made reservations, requested a booth then was told the wait for inside would be over an hour. Even with my reservation. There were half booths open and the table that was supposed to be for us was given to another person. (What I mean is she took the table) and the staff didn't do anything. We used to come here every weekend. Sadly this place has gone downhill. I think we're done with this place!

I haven't tried this particular salad at Bennett's before and I was pleased. It's a very large portion, you easily could take some home. It was flavorful packed full of fresh greens, shredded grilled chicken, small chunks of avacado, corn and a mix of other delicious ingredients, and tossed in a light dressing. It came slightly warmed which was very enjoyable. I washed it down with an Arnold Palmer. Very refreshing. Sitting out on the patio was very pleasant as it wasn't too hot outside, and the space is air conditioned in any case. Bennett's service is always friendly and very accommodating and this particular time maintained that special quality. There were plenty of open tables and we sat chatting for way too long after finishing our meal, yet it wasn't an issue. Thanks Bennett's. Always a nice experience.

Bar didn't seem exceptionally busy, just tender seemed distracted. Glad I didn't order a water; the next bartender (Curly haired brunette) that arrived filled a guests water from the hand sink behind the bar. I get that tap water is just tap water, but come on. Receipt showed two different servers, Alexie and Micah.
