Great arcade, poor food service that averages out to 3 stars. I come in here on occasion with a friend from Boulder as it's between us and a fun place to do lunch and games. This past time, I did the "eat and play" combo, which is a great idea if you wanna eat and play games too-for $15 you get an entree and a $10 game card. You can get everything from tacos to a philly cheese to a cheeseburger. When our waitress took our order, I made sure to let her know that I didn't want the onions, mushrooms or peppers. She read it back to me, jotted it down. It took almost 40 minutes for the food to come (way too long considering that it really wasn't busy) and when it did come...there were the peppers, onions, and mushrooms. We actually got our food from someone different than our server, so I politely let them know I didn't want the veggies, and they took it back. Our server stopped back by and said she thought I told her I DID want all those toppings. Nope...but she almost acted like she didn't believe me and I was wrong...what the whaaaaaaaatttt? Luckily, we had a lot of fun post lunch. There's a good variety of games, including a lot you can play for tickets, which you of course turn in for prizes. I went with a giant pixie stick (yeah sugar rush!) So here's the bottom line-you'll have a good time at Dave & Buster's if you come to have some beers and play games. Just skip the food. read more

Dining Experience: Four Stars Food was typical mass market food but we had an excellent server named Maverick here. Lunch time and the service was excellent and attentive. A+ for Maverick. Games: Three Stars Sadly most of the games seem to either not work or the ticket machines were jammed. Only one attendant who was occasionally working the floor. Overall, meh. Overall 3.5 which luckily for them rounds up to Yelp's 4. Maverick saved their rating here honestly. Plenty of lot parking. Fireplace in dining room. If we could do half stars, I would do 3 1/2. We read the reviews before we left and decided to eat before we went. We went just to play and drink! For 5 people, it was about a $250 night. Kind of on the pricey side. Next time I go, I'll get a cheaper card and probably share it....we left with credits on our card, which NEVER expire, so...that's good. They have a lot of different options for games. My favorite was the trivia game in the corner, it forces you to interact with new people and I LOVE doing that! Some of the games broke down but the slot tecks were FAST and very nice! I would say go! Buy a cheaper card and upgrade if you need to. read more

Women bathroom is disgusting. None of the toilets properly flush and every toilet is filled with waste and toilet paper. At least one stall has shit on the walls. Another stall has a door that is broken and will not close. read more

I think I like D&B alot and I think some of that is a residual feeling of childhood when all I saw was pretty lights little tickets and flashy games. Now that I'm older (well olderish) I take a Little better look and don't like what I see. The food is well food. There is nothing special there you would probably be better served going to a Denny's if it wasn't for the fact that you can get there power play meal in which they give you a free 10 card. There games are expensive really expensive. most games cost at least 50c but I'd say the average is about a dollar. If you want any fighting games or arcade staples like Metal Slug or in fact anything that doesn't give tickets have a gun or a steering wheel you are out of luck. That being said they have alot of coin op games that give tickets but before you sit down in front of one find the switch that turns on the help light because you are going to need it. There games are serviced by teenagers who don't get the tools and parts they need to do anything so honestly I'd say 1 out of 3 games have a major issue. The saving grace is every person who works here knows this. They will come right over fix the problem and usually hit some levers under the glass to give you a couple hundred extra tickets. The only reason that it gets two stars is the people. If you have a kid below ten or just want the novelty of walking around with a drink while you stand behind a 8 year old waiting to play skee-ball this is the place for you. Go here more then I should. To the point of where I accumulated 30000 tickets. Straight to the point. Prizes suck, food isn't terrible, does take some time to get a beer/food ordered at the bar. When it comes to sitting down at the booths or tables, it can be a wait too. Then again the servers are running around and doing all they can not knowing when someone is at a table until they see you. Happens to me every time I go to at least one game. I swipe my card and the game won't start. Happens at the ball throwing clown game and the ball toss one right next to it. Every time. Those are really fun and if you don't let someone know, you're losing money. Overall, the bartending staff isn't the best and the games occasionally won't work but will take your credits. read more

Dave and busters has always been a place I would come to when I was younger and just the nostalgia of the aroma when you first enter instantly sets your tone. It's upbeat and friendly bar staff are always pleasant and will shoot the stuff with you when you are in need of a vent session or just there to casually enjoy a beer and some food. The gaming section is more so for kids but I do enjoy playing some old arcade games that still exist from my generation. Not many things that help ease your mind or get your blood pumping depending on your game choice. But for all sakes and purposes this is a great place to come and enjoy a night out with,friends or take your kids to let them go game and run around so they can tire themselves out. read more

Most people probably think of Dave & Buster's as a place to play games. But I live near the Westminster location and it's also a great place to go grab a drink. They have lots of different beers on tap, and lots of drink options. It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it. There are two bars available. They're attached to each other to form a big rectangle, but they are very different from each other. One side is dark, with a dark wood bar and chairs. There are TVs to watch, and the mood is usually mellow. The other side is a lot like an old-time soda shop. It's bright and the atmosphere is more energetic. They also have some pretty good bar food, though their entrees leave a bit to be desired. They also don't take reservations in the restaurant, which is kind of lame. If you are out having a beverage with friends, however, this is a great place to grab a drink and a snack. read more

Great place to hang out! Our nieces and nephews love coming here. It's about a zillion times better than the Colorado Blvd location in the ghetto. The games are good- love the free play option on the new games too. We are gold card members and appreciate the 10% reward bonus. We have held bday parties here and the staff is amazing! D&B is a chain I've been to several times in different cities, and this one lived up to the same expectations I have whenever I go to one. It was clean, the food tasted good, the games were a blast, the drinks were reasonably priced - all in all it was a good time. I'm sure other locations do this too, but the standout I had never gotten before was their 100oz pitcher of beer! Truly impressive to have one of these monstrosities placed on your table. I love Dave & Busters and I wish there was one in Utah. You can't beat alcohol, arcade games and greasy, but decent food in one location. They have a bunch of new, awesome games like a new Star Wars imersive game, a new Jurassic Park shooter and Mario Kart. I may or may not of spent most of my time at the Star Wars game.... But it's great! If you're looking for food or drink, you just have to hit a light switch and someone comes over. They load your tickets onto your game card now so you dont have to worry about carrying around thousands of tickets if you're good at skee-ball (like me...). I've frequented D&B all over the country and I don't eat there anymore, I only play the games. So this review is mostly for the arcade. Went on a Sunday afternoon, generally a peak time for most D&Bs but this location seemed surprising slow. I can't complain about that because games were accessible, few games were broken and/or occupied for lengthy amounts of time. Games were mostly clean, staff was very helpful, and prize center was well stocked. The reason I cannot give any D&B a five star rating is due to the pricey food and drinks. We got a lemonade and a soda, 8 bucks. No refills on the lemonade. I suggest you always go full and bring a beverage. Otherwise, I highly recommend this location. read more

Who ever said arcades are just for kids? This is definitely an adults arcade but most of you already know that. As for this particular location..... It has a large dining room, a huge full service bar and big arcade room. The service is always fine; the menu has something for everyone including kids, low calorie or low carb dieters and a HUGE variety of full on fatty high calorie foods. I haven't had anything bad here yet. They have eat/play/win combos here which are reasonable but you have to chose from a specific menu. Expect to spend a lot of money here especially if you are having dinner, drinks and arcade action. The food and drinks are priced higher than an Applebee's even though the food and drinks are in the same realm. The arcade is average priced but you might spend a small fortune trying to get enough tickets for a good prize. I gave my tickets away because after $20 I still didn't have enough tickets for at least a D&B coffee mug. Hey, I did alright. The arcade has tons of games like the classic ski ball, b-ball, shuffleboard, billiards, interactive racing games, Derby Owners Club, etc.... Went to D&B for Mother's Day and had such a great time!! We ended up eating there because all the other restaurants were packed. No wait for a table and we were seated and served right away. I was really pleased with the food even though I didn't have the highest of expectations but it turned out pretty darn good. My daughter even ate hers all. I think we did the eat n play deal where u order something off the menu and they give you free points or tokens on your card. We had so much fun playing a variety of games and winning lots of tix but a lot of the games were broken and we would have to flipping the light switch to get someone to come fix it everytime it broke. But the attendants would hook us up with more plays for the inconvenience. All in all- it was prob the best Mother's Day I have ever had!! read more

Had the pleasure of being served by Jeremy but unfortunately people don't have common decency to catch a mistake that is probably safe to assume is a common mistake. The receipt has a suggested gratuity of 18% and has number below it for a total that one would assume would be the total from that amount. So we tipped the suggested gratuity and wrote the other number in the total line. Low and behold the second line would be the total for a 40% tip not the total tip for the suggested gratuity they recommend. Yes that's my own fault for not reading clearly. But let's be honest how low is this seriously. And even more so it speaks on the character of the employee for not doing the right thing when entering in his tip when we clearly wrote the tip amount we wanted to apply in the tip line. Maybe I'm old school for having morals but it's a shame Austin and Jeremy don't and that the company promotes this kind of character in its business practices. Great place for an adult date day, if you go in the early afternoon on the weekends it's pretty dead! I prefer this location to others because it is large, has a big selection of games and friendly staff. The food is what you would expect, fried and unhealthy but a guilty pleasure after a couple beers :) sign up for the emails and pretty much every two weeks they send out a 20$ for 40$ worth of play coupon! Please don't go here for the food unless you are starving and would eat cardboard. Also - if you like wait staff to umm... "wait" on you, avoid this place. We were seated and then had to wait and wait for service. After getting up and telling someone that we wanted to eat, we finally got a waiter. The only reason this review isn't worse is because the games were fun. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but they have a nice selection and I didn't see too many that were broken. My advice? So this is pretty much my bar, watering hole, hangout, place to blow off steam... this is where I pretty much lay my head outside of my house. I always sit in the Midway, which is the bar closest to the gaming area. When I go with my family, we sit in the restaurant area. If you want a good drink, see Cassie, Anthony, either Sara, or Nisa... they will take care of you. Food is always pretty much good... however, I have had to ask some of the servers for a few things like mustard, ketchup, etc... The games always pretty much work, not like the ones I've been to in Dallas where half of the games were non functional. I wanted to book a party here for a graduation but even with a group of 30 people, Dave and busters won't work with you unless you pay almost $30 per person for their buffet and PowerCard. I really don't want to have to buy a random number of people a game card and pay too much money for food that's not that good. I'm fairly certain that they don't even have drinks included in that price. They won't just rent the space or do a lower price package that doesn't include the PowerCard. Winner circle was amazing & was nicely stocked & staff/techs were friendly as well. Sat down to eat & the server Kyle was just rude. Seemed like he just didn't want to be there. It wasn't busy so I don't understand why so rude & felt like he was rushing us almost. Kinda just slammed things down on the table & walked away.
