First to start off this review, I say do not go here. Very bad customer service. Second They said they would do a deal on 1k down payment on a STOLEN RECOVERY. Had to ask what happen because ignition column was still OPEN and exposed wires and all. Was told all cars are stolen recovery which most cars from car lots get there cars from auction but too not fix them after you get them and want to sell them?? Not very professional. As it went they said they were not doing the 1k deal and just said that too get us coming there. So when that pissed us off He said " im not doing the deal with that attitude" " i dont need to sell the truck" well obviously you needed to sell the truck if you had us come down there too buy the truck. Dave is a liar and a mean Guy who doesnt care about his clients. He sold me a lemon a car with serious problems . I lost my job because of Dave and his lies about the car he tried to sell me. It broke down the first week. Had it towed to Daves shop and picked it up and it broke down the same day i got it out the shop. Then he put a plastic tie over the problem then it broke down again and so i took it to a place oin MARYSVILLE AUSTINS REPAIR AND when i got it back it was worse than when i took it. And tgis is all in less than 3 weeks of having the car .. i kept telling Dave i didnt want it bit he kept insissting that it will work out . I lost my job because of the car breaking down twice on me at work . I took the car back only to jave DAVE GIVE ME HALF MY DOEN PAYMENT ON A CAR THATBDIDNT RUN IN THE FIRST PLACE . By far one of the best dealerships I have been to. Dave is a great and fair man. He isn't all about the money like alot of car places are. While I was paying my car off the engine failed about half way through the payoff. Dave immediately jumped online and found me a new(used) engine and hooked me up with his mechanic for a great price. He also just added the cost of,it all to my total car bill so I could pay it off in payments instead if all at once. Ive seen people talk bad about this place but I can not see why. Dave (the owner) over the past 10 years has been by far one of the greatest, most honest of people I've met! Purchased a vehicle after having my first child,had 70,000 miles on an HHR and I put an additional 200,000 miles before upgrading to our 2nd vehicle from him. If you are not of white DO NOT GO HERE!! This man is prejudice ! I was skeptical about going to Snohomish due to at lot of racism in the area. And he definitely did not make me feel any different. First sign when I arrived he was very short with my husband and I never made eye contact with us and we had been going back and forth all day to his lot because he was never there even though the sign says they open at 10am. I gave him my license to test drive the car which clearly was an out of state license. When I fell in love with the car and I wanted to sign the deal that's when the bull shit started. He would not sell me the car without a Washington license which he clearly knew I did not have so why waste my time to let me test drive the car. I had the money I have proof of residency a full time job etc. but this man was rude. He has numbers posted to reach out when he's not on the premises which he never responded too so that was a waste of time. I spend 5 hours waiting to see him with hopes of getting a car and left disappointed and discouraged. I will not recommended anyone support this business. He clearly doesn't want everyone's business. I was recommended this car dealership by a friend a few years ago, And have been going to Dave ever since! Ive also recommended him to my friends and family, if they happen to be looking for a car!! Dave has never once sold any of us a "Lemon"!! The cars are Always in Great running Condition, And he was always honest and willing to work with me on my car payments!! The Only Reason im rating this dealership 2 stars, is Because of his GM, Susan Harris, Who Is Definitely the Opposite of Dave!! Since She started working there, a Few years ago, She's been nothing but RUDE to Everyone she talks to!! People who are buying or paying off a car, are being treated downright ugly, And Talked Down to, by her!! I dont know if the owner, Dave, is even Aware of how she treats and talks to his customers, but he should, being that he's the boss!! Regardless, The cars are Always in Great Condition, Run Awesome, and decently priced, the only issue is the GM's attitude and customer service!! DO NOT BUY CARS HERE!! First of all, they have HORRIBLE customer service!! I work in customer service myself and I know that without my customers, Im OUT OF A JOB! When I got my car that I paid FULL PRICE for, Dave clearly stated that it had been in to an accident but when I asked him if it was a salvage title he said NO, that it definitely was NOT. Then I come to find out it is, confront them and they say oh sorry, you signed a paper(that they never explained to me or mentioned any thing about the vehicle being salvaged) saying it is a salvaged vehicle!! WOW!! Then they have the nerve to tell me that anytime a vehicle is in a wreck it becomes a salvage vehicle with a salvage title so I should have known that.... Actually, I work for an insurance company and not all vehicles that are in accidents automatically become salvaged. Only the cars that are deemed a total loss and that would be too much money to pay for to fix!! OH and while Im trying to get an explanation for why I got ripped off, (because they sold the car to me for FULL PRICE) the lady tells me to look it up on the internet to find out what it means becaus eshe doesnt have time, she has other things to do... Now thats GREAT customer service... Really? Somebody has to be completly psycho or on drugs to run a business and treat their paying customers with such disrespect!! I recommended them to a few friends at first cuz I thought they were so helpful but I guess thats how sneaky people act that are trying to pull one over on you. Embezzlement is a crime! All their customer's accounts need to be thoroughly investigated. My car was/is in Repo status because my bank card payments where not properly credited to my auto loan account. I am missing credit for several of the payments I made over the last several months and need this updated immediately. I have included a detailed history of my prior payments, along with bank statements and screen shots. Asking to correct my account by crediting my payments made. I've received no response. I've been left no other choice. I've contacted my Key Bank Fraud Department. Also contacted my BECU Credit Card Fraud Department. Taking money from a credit card for unlawful uses is a crime! I've lost all trust and credibility with this company Dave's Car Connection! All customers accounts should be investigated for accurate payments posted. read more
