Old Sport is a hidden gem in the Queens area with the yummiest Halal Chinese food. Think bold, fresh Xinjiang flavors and also your Chinese classics. We got the Combo E (what an amazing deal if I may add) consisting of two of their top beef noodle soups and a lamb/chicken burger. Both noodle soups came with a delicious clear broth and tender pieces of beef, chewy hand-pulled noodles, and an abundance of cilantro on top. The roujiamo was the star of our meal as it was freshly made, crunchy, full of juicy meat and vegetables and an addicting sauce. Don't skip out on the roujiamo, for real. 100/10 stars, definitely will be coming back

The Lagman noodles was super delicious, with intense spicy flavors. This is what I would come back for. The lamb was spiced perfectly, and the accompanying peppers, dried woodear, and other veggies really meddled well together. The noodles were coated with the flavorful suace. The combo was a little disappointing though. Their signature lanzhou beef noodle was just alright. The wide noodles were soggy. The sliced beef was very little, and the broth was not as flavorful as I expected. Lastly, the skewers were really dry.

When we arrived, they said they hadn't received the order, citing an issue with their system. They told us it would take about 15 minutes. Unfortunately it really took about 35 minutes for the food to be ready. The wait time was definitely underwhelming. However they made up for it by giving us a free slice of tiramisu cake. When we got home, we were both surprised by just how much gnocchi they give. We both ordered the Senza Vodka. Other than the red pepper flakes on top, the sauce was really flavorless. I did like the gnocchi itself. The side Caesar salad was also very bland. My wife really enjoyed the food, so they made it worth it. But I tnink she'll have to order from here on her own moving forward, .

Just FYI , they have limited seats so if its busy you might have to wait . The place is new so it was very neat and clean . We ordered gnocchi pomodoro and basil pesto . The tomato sauce was perfect . I loved it . I had it topped with cheese and red pepper which made it even more tastier . The other dish we ordered was basil pesto we topped it with only cheese and it was equally delicious not too heavy not too light pesto . It was just perfect . The portion and price was also good and worth it. For the drink , we got tiramisu latte . It was very creamy , rich and delicious. Make sure to swirl it before you take a sip. Have half of the cream with the ladyfinger and mix the remaining cream with the coffee so that its not too sweet . Really loved this place , will be visiting soon again.

I went during Ramadan with my partner to break my fast, and they were so accommodating. Tip: call them to make a quick reservation beforehand. Next, onto the food. We ordered the dumplings, lamb stew with naan, and their special noodles. Everything was absolutely mind blowing. The lamb was perfectly seasoned and fell right off the bone. The bread was soaked in flavor. The noodles are perfect for a cold night. The noodles are mixed in house and fresh, and you can definitely taste the difference in fresh noodles and store brought. Their service was impeccable. Our host was gracious and greeted us in Arabic as soon as we walked in. He took our order fairly quickly, and the food did not take that long to come out. Whenever he spoke, he had his hand over his heart and was so friendly. I cannot speak anything but praise about this place. It's amazing and I plan to go there soon again with my whole family. Everything was delicious and this restaurant could easily be one of the top 10 restaurants I've ever been to in my life.

I wasn't very familiar with Afghan cuisine or what to expect from a halal döner kebab restaurant, but my experience was excellent. One thing I really appreciated was the open kitchen concept. As soon as you walk in, the kitchen is right there on the side, allowing you to watch the food being prepared. Everything feels transparent and fresh. I ordered the chicken gyro, which was packed with flavor and incredibly juicy. I also tried the lamb tikka and beef kofta. Watching the cooks prepare the meat on the large skewers over the grill made the experience even better. The meal came with rice and a side salad, making for a satisfying and well-balanced plate. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I'll definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu.

You get two tender thighs and a drumstick, all seasoned and spiced perfectly. The long grain rice is delicious, and the portions are genuinely massive for the price. The side salad and vegetables balance everything out nicely so the meal doesn't feel heavy. They include three sauces on the side, but honestly the chicken is flavorful enough on its own that I haven't really needed them. When I went in person to pick up my order, the place was really clean and well-kept, which I always appreciate. I also noticed they have desserts, so I'll definitely be trying those next time. I'd recommend ordering in person if you can -- you'll skip the extra Uber Eats fees and get the same great food for less. Hidden gem on Northern Blvd.

To be completely honest, I thought it was even a little better than the Union Turnpike location. I ordered the chicken over rice with white sauce, and they gave a generous portion of white sauce (which Halal Munchies is known for). I guess he is a growing boy! I decided to order myself some seasoned fries. Can pay with either cash or card. Told that it would be a few minutes. We moved to the side. They have a few high tables and chairs if people would like to eat there. Fridge with juices or sodas & cakes. Also a freezer with ice cream. Service was fast and we able to head out. The portions are huge! Nephew stated that everything was good. Also received white sauce, hot sauce and green sauce on the side so he can adjust to how much he wanted. Fries were good as well.
