First time at Dave's & we're pleasantly surprised. We ordered two of their #3's (1 tender & 1 slider w/fries) heat level lite mild/medium & they were very good. Chicken was flavorful and had a nice crunch to it. We had MacnCheese and cheese fries (reg fries as well) also, m&c was nice and semi thick with a good cheese flavor, the cheese fries were just that...cheese fries. If you're from Cali you'll be disappointed that they don't have ranch lol BUT the Dave's sauce is a good sub. Their level hot was a good enough amount of hot for me that still made it enjoyable. I'd say the best bang for your buck is getting the combo with the 2 sliders (I recommend adding cheese)! Not like those places that claim chicken but give you a portion that looks like it came off a pigeon. So I got the hot chicken one of five or six different levels fom bland to reaper.... . Had pickles flavored fries on two slices of bread. Oh before I forget some tiny ( not enough ) kinda orange sauce. The place was fairly busy for noon time but not overly crowded. First visit and wasn't disappointed by this sit down fast food joint. First off, I loved the fries ... great seasoning and served piping hot. And speaking of hot, Dave certainly named this place correctly. On this inaugural taste test, based on some sound advice from the counter staff, I went with the medium heat for my slider/strip combo and I was pleasantly relieved--although there was definitely a lingering kick, the heat didn't overpower the taste of the chicken sandwich. I cannot imagine somebody actually ordering the "reaper" heat level (I suspect you'll probably need to sign a waiver) ... but if you do, please be sure to rate the facility that performs your taste bud transplant. read more

By FAR my favorite hot chicken spot. I moved to UT a few years ago and this was the one spot that we seriously missed having, so much so we looked into opening one. I was trying to manifest it to come to Utah and BAM! They finally opened one...now if they could please open one in Centerville or surrounding area....ahem franchisees....I AM SPEAKING TO YOU..... My boyfriend and I both preferred this location to the Orem location. The chicken was way more crispy and seasoned really well. The workers seemed to be taking their job seriously and it showed in the best possible way. Boyfriend got the double sando combo and I got the sando with a finger combo. The fries were crunchy and seasoned well. The sandos were crispy and had a good amount of topping to them, the buns were fresh as well.
