Absolutely the worst dining experience I've ever had. The second we walked in, it was obvious nobody cared. There was a line of customers waiting to order while at least six employees stood around doing next to nothing. We all just stood there being ignored while one employee casually and slowly wiped down the counter instead of helping the growing line. I've never seen so many employees accomplish so little. We finally gave up and ordered on the app after getting ice cream next door. The app notified us that our food was ready, so we walked back in... and, surprise, it wasn't ready. Apparently the "ready" notification means absolutely nothing. Then everything else fell apart. They were out of enchilada soup, and instead of making it right, they refused to reimburse me for the tortilla chips, sour cream, and cheese that come with it when I had to switch to a different soup. So I paid for items I never received. Then they made my sandwich on wheat bread even though I specifically ordered white. The photo clearly shows the mistake. It's hard to understand how an order can be wrong when it's placed through the app. And somehow they were also out of chocolate-covered strawberries. Instead of offering an actual replacement like cheesecake or another dessert, they offered an extra roll. An extra roll? That's honestly insulting. I've never been to a restaurant that was this disorganized. They were out of multiple menu items, got my order wrong, refused to properly compensate for what they couldn't provide, and had some of the slowest, most indifferent service I've ever seen. This place is a complete disaster, and I won't be wasting my money here again. Management needs to do something. read more

Ordered online and got a confirmation it would be ready in 15 min. My husband went to pick it up arriving 10 min after the confirmed time. They hadn't even started. I received a text saying my food was ready and they hadn't even started. This has happened another time to us too. Their ordering system is horrible and service is not good. The lady told my husband that the "your food is ready" text is just an order confirmation, which is comical. As much as I like the food, it just isn't worth the bad service. This is the second time I've been there in a couple of weeks and the service was horrible both times. Not only are you always out of something, today was rice, the other day was apples, but the service is horrible. The people are extremely unfriendly. We had the misfortune of spilling our grandkids drink because we were trying to put the lid on and we told the People working there and asked for some assistance of which we got none. I could understand if everyone was extremely busy, but you weren't. We tried to clean up everything on the table ourselves, and I even came back and asked for a rag and still no one ever even attempted to try to help us, they just handed us a rag. We ate there and still the entire time we were there, No one even offered to help clean up the floor, which had spilled soda all over it. Someone was in training mode and they were so concerned about the quantities of the food they put in the salad that I think I received the smallest salad I've ever received at Zupas. Love their soup and salads! My only suggestion, there is NO unsweetened ice tea. You carry sweet tea, but not everyone likes sweet tea, let alone anything g that sweet. I ordered a crispy avocado chicken salad. It was awful. The lettuce was limp and they had some chopped up broccoli that was limp too. They had chopped up the broccoli stems too. The crispy chicken wasn't heated up enough. It was inedible. The people serving seemed really confused and had to ask us several times what we ordered. I know the answer, no one They kept looking at me and whispering. Then, after they brought me a new one (hairless) they were giggling Not super. food quality keeps dropping and restaurant is dirty and what you get for the money is quite mediocre. The quality of the soups have declined specially my old favorite lobster bisque. Its more tomato than lobster. My sisters roasted pepper soup smelled like rotten fish and had to return it and exchanged with a watered down potato soup that appeared to be out of a can. I used to really love this place, but for some reason I feel like the quality of food is not as good as it used to be. Don't get me wrong this place has a great variety of soups that taste amazing, but the sandwiches are below average. Whenever I go here I will usually only do the soup and salad because the sandwiches have left me feeling sick. The nuts about berries salad is always wonderful though with the poppyseed dressing. The tomato basil is also a great option for soup. I do love that they always provide a chocolate covered strawberry and roll with your meal, but the quality is just not worth the price in my own opinion. The service is usually great though full of highschool aged looking students and it's usually clean!
