I'm want to let you know that this franchise is really good. Especially if you love yourself some spicy chicken. Once I found out this location opened and since I was in the area, I decided to stop and make an order. Customer service was great. My cashier greeted me with a smile. I didn't have to wait long for my order. The chicken itself is amazing. It's seasoned very well. The chicken is juicy, and what a flavor bomb because of the spices. I really like that you can pick the spice levels or no spice at all. You really want this chicken because of how spicy it is. I don't care for this location much and probably wouldn't visit it often, but it does have enough seating to dine in, and from the looks of it, it will be a teenage magnet. Happy Yelping!

Yum yum yum! I tried the spicy chicken sandwich (medium heat) and it was so tasty and flavorful- just the right amount of kick, savory, crunchy, and saltiness added by the pickle and chicken seasoning. I would definitely return and get another sandwich. The Harlem location is clean and staff is friendly and attentive. It was my first time at Dave's Chicken and the gentleman behind the register didn't seem annoyed when explaining the different sauces available and the different type of heat you can add to your chicken. I went on a Thursday afternoon and the place was practically empty with only two other customers sitting and enjoying their meals. I would argue that this chicken sandwich is better than Cane's chicken sandwich which is very similar but doesn't quite have a leg up on Dave's chicken. It just has the right amount of heat and fried perfectly.

I stopped by one early afternoon and it was empty which meant no long wait time which I like because I was on a time crunch. I loooooved the spicy chicken sandwichThe chicken is huge and you can adjust the spice flavor I got medium. The slaw on the Sandwich is a perfect balance to the spicy chicken. I also tried the cauliflower bites and those were also very good. The fries I liked but I wish they were crispier and the Mac and cheese was good but the star of the show was the chicken sandwich.

    Great view outside.

Amazing manager great staff he is very nice and he is also very respectful and kind I give him a thumbs up for that. The food is great and I love it so much I would come here again and again. The ambience is clean and great to do when you visit New York City 125.

    Cool and urban vibes.

Ordered some chicken tenders to check out the taste of this new business. A Friday night for no fuss and fast food in Harlem is a good suggestion for this place. They are friendly at the counter and explain spice levels, if you're scared of spicy flavors and they have cool R&B/soul music while you wait for your order.

Okay so this spot has only been open for about 2 months at this point and they've done an excellent job. The decor is an edgy spray painted mural with a Harlem twist which keeps it in the ethos of old school. Harlem. Every time I've gone in or passed it, it is impeccably clean. The countertops are stainless steel adding to that very sleek feeling when you enter. The menu is very simple. You can either get fingers or sliders. There are a number of heat levels from no spice to extremely hot. Full disclosure, I have a sensitivity to chicken so I got mild. Needless to say, I enjoyed it. Because of return the next week. Now they start off with two chicken fingers, but before you think that they're skimping on you, those fingers are actually a little under a whole breast size. Joe, I actually didn't finish more than a single finger while I was in the restaurant. Now let's talk about the staff. They are extremely well mannered and give you service with a smile. Dare I say they are refreshing in a city where we're fast food service folks are understandably the stressed out and over it. They welcome you with a smile and generously offer condiments at no extra charge. Not over fried. This tends to irritate my stomach so I appreciate it not having that happen. I didn't want to be too conspicuous so I didn't take a picture of the menu, but the least expensive item is a little over $11 excluding the drinks and fries which are less

Decor/actual restaurant: This particular location is very small and tight with limited in-store seating. The interior is cute, I like the blue color theme they have here. For a restaurant designed for to-go orders, I believe that there could be more waiting room and a couple less chairs. Service: Like many "fast food adjacent" restaurants, the people who work there have good customer service but I imagine deal with the worst. I know they're doing great with the situation they're in. Kudos to them. Food: this is probably my harshest critique. I ordered a pesto chicken sandwich, and it was fine. I don't believe it was worth the $16 I spent though. The chicken was kind of bland, tasted similarly to frozen grilled chicken pieces you buy from a grocery store. I do wish there was more sauce. The pesto tasted good but overall there was too much bread. I fear you would be better off making something like this at home for a comparable price. The bread was good, just too much. I don't want to base the menu on this sandwich alone, a lot of the menu options sounded delicious, but this was just the experience I had!

There is a small table outside and barstools inside. My iced vanilla latte tasted great, and my chocolate chip muffin had chocolate filling inside which was a pleasant surprise! My only complaint is that it is a bit expensive - my coffee and muffin cost $12.25. With that said, I do appreciate its convenient location, as it is very close to Central Park.

Sadly, I am left to post our experience here so others know what to expect. I cannot recommend this establishment. We booked a reservation at Da Capo for a party of five to celebrate a family member's birthday, specifically coming on a recommendation for their skirt steak. Several people in our group work in hospitality, so we understand how service and kitchen timing should operate under pressure. What we experienced was a complete series of service breakdowns: Lack of communication: Three of us ordered the skirt steak. Only after our orders were taken were we informed that the kitchen was sold out--at 7:45 PM on a prime Saturday night. For a core signature item to be unavailable that early without a heads-up from the host or server set the tone for the night. Coerced order handling: We had coordinated our steak and pasta orders so couples could share. Rather than pausing and resetting the table's ticket when the steak ran out, the server locked us into the pasta dishes that were already started. The fallback burger was extremely subpar, and the rushed pasta arrived tough, dry, and clearly compromised from sitting under a heat lamp. Timing disaster: One guest's entree arrived a full 15 minutes after everyone else's. In a party of five dining for a birthday, one person sat with an empty place setting while the rest of the table had virtually finished eating. While the server brought a complimentary hummus starter and a round of shots, these small band-aids did not make up for a completely mismanaged meal. We expressed our significant disappointment directly to the server, but a manager never came to the table to check in, apologize, or handle table recovery. For a $248 check, this was an unacceptable standard of food, timing, and floor management. To make matters worse, management has completely ignored polite, direct outreach following the meal. Save your money and celebrate elsewhere.

There was a line, of course, there always is, and the wait was longer than what we were willing to endure for fare as simple and as common as a sandwich. It was worth the 20-minute wait. We ordered the Milano special, packed with cold meats, tomatoes, pickled peppers, cheese, and lettuce between two soft sesame rolls. It looked magnificent. It tasted magnificent. Proscuitto burtata (amore) - fresh fresh fresh and quality ingredients. The proscuitto was perfect along with the burrata, arugula and balsamic glaze on ciabatta which was sweet mix. We were deciding on this one and the proscuitto tomato but we are glad we got this one! 2. Chicken caesar salad wrap- I think I could easily say this is the best caesar salad wrap i've had. The dressing was light and not overpowering with the mix of the chicken, croutons and outside wrap was a truly stellar combination. Very fresh and wasnt soggy one bit. the cookies: small black n white cookie, rainbow cookie and chocolate sprinkle and all were hits! my favorite was the black n white because the icing melts right off the soft cookie texture and tastes more like a cake than a cookie. All were amazing and is a must try when visiting. absolutely rec when you're on the east side!
