I'll invariably end up grabbing groceries across the street after filling up at Eatery 125 so that I'm stocked and ready to meal prep next time, avoiding the lure of affordable and hearty fare every evening I stroll down 125th street with a grumbling tummy. read more

Fresh food buffet with lots of hot and cold options. $6.95/lb. Free garlic bread! Employees are extremely helpful and friendly. They serve Illy coffee at competitive price. Iced coffee and hot latte for $2.75. Haven't seen Illy coffee past 86th street, especially at this price. I'm always a fan of supporting local businesses and I'm sure this will be a popular place for grab and go. read more

Very much a place that's finding its way. Its newer and close to me, so I frequent it and my experiences have wavered over time - but enjoyable enough. Prices are ok - more expensive than a bodega, but less than a restaurant. I don't really think the area needs another buffet, with institutions like Manna's and the new Whole Foods, but the food is ok. I think the sandwiches/burgers are the main reason I go here. You can get a burger and fries for around $8-9. Ordering sometimes seems confusing. You can't order directly at the counter and someone has to put in the order for you, which is fine, but sometimes there is no one there. As i've been there a few times before, I get the rules - but someone brand new would be completely confused. Once you order, you need to pay and then go back to collect your food. There probably is a way to make this process be more efficient and make more sense than going back and forth, but I'll still chalk it up to a growing pain. read more

VERY AFFORDABLE This is my favorite grab and go place! Awesome place for buffet, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. The staff are super nice, they make you feel welcomed. I highly recommend their buffet, I'm obsessed with their salmon and coconut shrimp. Breakfasts are great also. read more

I want to support this black-owned business but my biggest struggle is the inconsistent hours of operation. Not sure when this place is open or closed. The food is ok. It is mostly pay by the pound. I ordered a meatless burger once that was dry and overcook. Not sure of that was the preparation or the product, but I didn't like it. read more

This place recently opened. I have come in for breakfast sandwiches a few times, and they do a good job. They are still working out the kinks, but they strive to provide good food at reasonable prices with good service. Definitely worth a visit. read more

The veggie burger is advertised as the Beyond Burger, but it's a, very mediocre, bean and corn burger which was missing the avocado. They were also out of two of the listed sides that I tried to order. read more

Cozy little spot in Harlem for a decent to go breakfast meal. Breakfast rolls begin from $3.50 and up with a complimentary oatmeal and or grits. Will be definitely back. A block from Metro-north too so that's a plus. No restroom though. Nice staff read more

I was walking by on my way to the train and a guy was hawking the place out front, "new restaurant", "you won't regret it", etc. I went in. They had a promo of a free small soup with any sandwich. I ordered a Beyond Burger and onion rings (sandwiche comes with a choice of onion rings or fries). They didn't have onion rings so I was offered a side salad. Great! The place is new, open for I think 6 weeks. It's clean with a friendly staff, and has a respectable buffet (though a little picked over at 1pm). It's grab and go, no seating. Did I mention a friendly staff? After ordering you bring your receipt to the register in the front by the coffee bar. After paying, I filled a self serve container of soup and walked back to the grill for my order. The side salad was only mixed greens, nothing else, not a carrot shaving or tomato to be found. Underwhelming and blah, better to have nothing than this salad. The burger was good, but there's no way it was a Beyond Burger. It was a regular veggie burger. It was fine, but not what I ordered and I can get a veggie burger for less than $10. And they didn't give me a pickle. Who serves a burger in NY without a pickle? While waiting for my order, a man in front of me ordered a burger and was asked if he wanted fries or onion rings. Huh? You have onion rings again in the less than 5 minutes it took for me to pay? Hmmm... The best thing I ate was the soup. The soup was very good. Try the soup. If this place lasts for 6 months, I'll come back and give them another try. I've never been so blown in my entire life. I place an order online only for them to tell me they never got it despite charging me. After getting that sorted out, I put my order in only for these people to have no salads, missing half the extra toppings and getting my order wrong. After explaining that they got my order wrong, the cashier asks the chef whether she cooked it properly and instead of giving me the correct order, insists that it's the correct order. After showing him that my food was literally incorrect, the man simply shrugged his shoulders. And to top it all off, the food I did eat wasn't even good. The chicken was tough and the sandwich kept falling apart. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but they certainly left a poor taste in my mouth. read more
