Trash. If I could give it a 0/5 I would. Third time here now I've been with my buddy who's a regular. Long hair guy is a good bartender and stand up guy. Today I went completely parched and some girl said she felt u comfortable serving me cause I was "slurring" mind you this was 45 min ago. Its about 8:30 pm now. I felt uncomfortable her serving me up because She should have her licensed revoked on how disgusting her attitude was. A true unprofessional and a rookie. First off I come here every once in a awhile I heard people say don't go back because they have new staff and let me start off by saying give them a chance Bryce was our bartender for the night he was new and can I just say so nice so sweet very attentive. He made sure we were taken care of the whole night. I had a bottle service set up with Criss his communication was on point answered all my questions it exceeded my expectations and they even added balloons as a nice touch my best friend loved his bday celebration and we will definitely be hosting some bdays again here. Been coming here for 7 years!!!. Sarah is was thee best bartender!!!. Chris is great as well. Some of thee new bartenders we have met thus far are great as well. My only concern that I would say for owners managers and bartenders coming to this location for the last eight years in general is whether their security entrance or not people that are 86th or too drunk with the bartenders, realize it or not kicked out or not they sneak in through the side back alley for the patio to the side door by the bathroom and they get away with coming in and locking themselves in the bathroom or starting drama because they're 86 or not because nobody's watching the back alley Entrance plus the front entryway to except we've seen somebody who was 86 and talking in the bathroom and when we left, he was fully exposed in pee on David's building right next to the entrance door after being kicked out we come in three times at least per month or every other month and we encounter this sometimes bartenders are on it sometimes they're not security or not. Only one side is being washed and I'm not OK with that. read more

Fuuuuuuuck Dave's! I WILL NEVER BE BACK! Super rude bar tender. The young lady who was working the bar didn't even look my friend and I in the eyes. There was a beer sitting at the bar in front of an empty stool. My buddy tried to move it, but was scolded by the bartender when he did so. The gentleman took our order & our two beers, came out to 10 bucks. Our beers being cheap is about the only redeeming quality that Dave's has. Old head atmosphere, schizophrenic playlist, and one pool table. Dusty and outdated. Major skip for anybody born after 1990! Oh, and not to mention, parking sucks at Dave's too. I have fond memories of Dave's. Every Thursday I would show up with my sax and try to hitch a 5 minute ride with talented guitar players and song writers. Criss kept us happy with just the right pace of pints and shots. But please Yelp managers, update your website. Dave's has not hosted an open-mic night since Covid took its toll in 2020 . The bartenders are all amazing, Sarah is a sweetheart, Chris is always full of fascinating insights into the movie world while he pours my favorite drinks. And Gabe! Long overdue poor review for this terrible place. Four people in the bar on a late night. Had to endure two girls singing karaoke during my visit. Offered one guy a few games a pool and he obliged. Then after buying him beers and paying for a few games of pool he took issue that I was wearing a mask. Passed by this little bar here in Glendale called Dave's. It was pretty cool. They've got a juke box to listen to and couple of TVs with sports and old time black and white films going on. Not really any food, except for dogs and popcorn. The pool table was nice for a couple of games. The bartender Sarah was awesome. Free pool & hot dogs on Sundays (on a small pool table & there's only one table but never a long wait), karaoke on Wednesdays, Friday's & Saturdays, 80s & electronic music DJ on Sundays, free pizza & pool on Mondays, live band music on Tuesday, and open mic music Wednesdays. The bartender is awesome and staff are always nice. I really love Sunday night electronic music night! I am not a bar goer, BUT THIS PLACE IS WONDERFUL! I can't stress this enough. I have been here 5 times now and I can't say enough about this place. The entire staff is super chill and friendly. The ambience here is lovely. The patrons are really neat too. I have met two different bartenders here Chris and Sarah and they are nice and on top of things, GREAT mixologists. I can't stress this enough about them! The karaoke station is bomb. This self serve concept is really cool. I have never seen this before. The restrooms are CLEAN as well as the rest of the bar. Security is polite and doesn't mad dog people. The place in and of itself has plenty of character. If you like neighborhood bars that are clean and classy THIS IS YOUR SPOT.
