    Finally got my beer
    Mike M.

Is a pretty cool place to hang out. I and my friend usually come here every now and then to catch a game of pool. I usually grab a beer, and we chit-chat and game. This is pretty cool during the week or early in the day when the price is just 7 bucks an hour and it is not that crowded. On the weekends and late after 6 pm the price increases to about 20 bucks an hour, and it gets busy. Although it is not crazy crazy busy, it is still enough for the waitresses to not be able to keep up. On my last visit it took 25 mins into my hour for a waitress to show up and take my drink order, and that's only because I flagged someone down and asked why no one had shown yet. They are supposed to go around all pool tables and take orders. I saw multiple pass by us and take other orders but never took ours. This was pretty disappointing. I've had good experiences here before, but usually before 6 pm. This was my first time coming at 7 pm and dealing with this, and I am not a fan. I would say coming early is cheaper and better service.

Met with my old colleagues for dinner and to play pool. I had a fantastic time. The food was good and the service was excellent. The atmosphere is nice they just need to upgrade the furniture and carpet. Note: Their wings are delicious.

This is my third time coming here. It's a real gem in Burbank if you want a casual spot to eat, drink play a few games of pool. Or even to watch sports. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. Restrooms were very clean. Pool is $7-$19 per hour depending on day of the week and time. Really cool spot. Plenty of tables and screens all around.

First off, This here is a classy joint. Follow the rules, share the space, be respectful & have fun. If you got some rowdy/sloppy drunk ghetto friends .. just take your @$$ to Lynwood/South Gate bruh!! Plenty of ice-cold drinks on tap. Service was phenomenal!! Definitely coming back.

Highly frustrating experience with both management and service during the USA vs. Bosnia game…read more I called ahead and was explicitly told this location operates strictly on a first-come, first-served basis for major soccer matches and does not take reservations. Yet, when I arrived 1.5 hours before kickoff, I was told the stadium seating area was fully booked. The area was clearly half empty, and management gave me a vague, inconsistent explanation when confronted about the policy. To make matters worse, we were then assigned a bartender who completely ignored our table for a solid half-hour while serving the tables right next to us. She was checking out because her shift was ending and completely abandoned our table without a handoff. I eventually had to flag down a waitress who had given me excellent service on a previous day to ask what was going on. She confirmed the bartender was supposed to be serving us and immediately went out of her way to transition us to a new server. This new waitress took over and was absolutely superb! While these two helpful waitresses saved the day, management seriously needs to fix their shift change protocols and provide honest, transparent communication regarding their reservation policies.

I explained that I just wanted to watch a game and be out of the way and they could not have been kinder through my whole time there! Daniela was my server and she was so kind! Best service and I didn't even order food. The second experience I had was going pretty well! My boyfriend and I took a friend who had just put down one of her dogs. She took her other dog with her since he has never been left without the other dog. :( we were really hoping to cheer her up with an outing. It was unfortunately super hot outside and so we asked the server if we'd be able to sit inside with the dog. No problem! The dog was in a stroller and we took a table right by the patio door. We really enjoyed our drinks and food and talking to each other. Our server, Kailey, made sure we had water and drink refills as needed. We had been there over 2 hours at this point, watching a World Cup came that had about 10 minutes left, when someone came up to us, I'm assuming a manager, but she never introduced herself to us, and told us the dog needed to either be on the floor or in the stroller (he was in our friends lap at this point) and then told us the stroller was a fire hazard unless it was on the other side of the table. We were very receptive, no problem, but very confused why this would come up after we had been sitting there for over 2 hours. This employee disappeared after that and we didn't see her again! It was just bizarre. Anyway- the servers were friendly and the other people there watching the game were fun. I loved the carnitas nachos and the Baja seltzer! I just was very confused by this "manager" coming up after 2 hours of us being there (she had seen us there at least 30-40 minutes before approaching us). Up front it wouldn't have been confusing! We're happy to follow rules and such and the dog was fine in his stroller. It just put a bad taste in our mouth, especially when there were only about 10 minutes left in the game we were watching. Felt a little too late to approach us? I wouldn't let this hinder my coming back. All the servers I've had were so great, I just don't know why a manager type would wait so long to present a customer with where a stroller can and can't be. We had made sure to ask up front about it, too and there were no issues! For those reading- check this place out! Fun to casually watch a game of some kind and get a drink and appetizer. The servers are amazing!

Definitely ordering it again, I can do without the chili cheese fries. It was good but it wasn't amazing. Their bread pudding was HUGE and I can see why it's one of the popular items here. I ordered at the bar like always, and the bartender took my order and then walked towards the kitchen. Now I know they usually give you your drink right then and there, but they were busy and I assumed he was going to take care of something else first, which is completely fine! What I didn't expect was this other bartender, who was on the complete other side of the bar and didn't communicate me with at all, was actually filling my drink. I didn't realize that, because he didn't tell me, so I turned to walk back to my table. This rude bartender thought I was abandoning my drink or something, and used his big boy voice to yell "YOUR DRINK!" so loudly that everyone at the bar stopped to stare at me, and some were laughing. Now I didn't know that intentionally embarrassing your patrons is how you guys do business, but ok, whatever makes you feel important I guess... The original bartender who took my order came by and checked and on our table later in the night, and he asked us something that neither my friend or I could hear, so I said "I'm sorry, what?" and he rolled his eyes and walked away. Alternatively, a few months ago, my husband and his friend came here and they received the complete opposite treatment - free drinks, conversations with the bartenders, and were welcomed. I never come into a restaurant/bar, especially a small business, expecting anything for free, that isn't my point at all. I do however expect basic manners and respect. Based on our very different experiences recently, there does seem to be a hint of misogyny going on here. It's like this event was made for me: First of all, it was close to home. Secondly, it was vegan. Lastly, no matter how much I was eating that day, I couldn't get full. This sounded like a good solution. Parking, the bane of any Angelenos existence, was free on the street. I was lucky and quickly found one on a residential street. I came a little early because, again, I was hungry. It gave me time to figure out by listening in to other newcomers that we needed to buy a ticket from the bar. The ticket also serves as a punch card because you only get one bowl from each vendor. It's also how you vote for your favorite because it has a QR code for that. Unsure of how things worked, I asked how many different types of chili I could try and was told "All of them." Not bad for $20 since I ended up eating 5 bowls of chili. The bowls are a little small, but times that by 5 and that's a lot of chili. I went from being so hungry to coming home so full. I wish they had given us a tray because what I wanted to do was have all 5 bowls in front of me, take a spoonful from each one, then make my decision on my favorite. What I ended up doing was precariously carrying 3 bowls on the first trip, finishing those off, and then coming back for the last 2. I was planning to eat outside, but the small patio filled up fast. I appreciate the fact that this event gave the bar a more family friendly vibe since people also brought their kids who were playing with the board games the bar had on hand anyway. This was my first time coming here and my first time going to a chili cook off, so even though I didn't stay long since I basically scarfed all 5 chili bowls down in a matter of minutes, I enjoyed myself.
