I drove over, checked in, dropped my keys off, and waited. He told me it would be about an hour (which turned out to be an accurate estimate). The good news is they said they were able to patch up the tire and I didn't need to buy a new one! I was surprised and relieved. Very nice service, let me use the wifi and stay inside on a very cold day. Well, it only occurred to me later, after the car was diagnosed properly at my normal service place - when a car runs out of transmission fluid, might there not be a leak? Shouldn't a good technician realize that and check for a leak? Apparently the fluid was pooling in the tray under the engine. Mike's didn't see that? So A for friendliness, E for effort.
