About a year ago I needed to replaced my cars bumper. Brought it to Davey Auto Body and had a very nice experience. Mike helped me, he matched the color of the bumper needed. It would take a couple of days for him to order a new bumper and have it painted. I needed my car so he said I could bring it home and he would call when the bumper was ready. This is the best body shop that I have been to. ​The staff here are efficient, courteous, and very professional. I have a couple of classic cars that I enter into at local car shows​ as a hobby of mine. My 1976 Stingray was involved in an accident. Mike Davey worked with the other persons'​ insurance company and managed to get everything that was damaged into the estimate. When he called me and told me that my car was ready to go, I went to examine the work that they had done on the car and I was amazed at the work that was done. ​The car looked brand new. You have to realize that the car is 42 years old. They matched the color perfectly with the rest of the color that was already on the car. I know that I will never have to vet any other body shops. What I appreciated most was the respect and positive attitude I received. Mother Nature decided to drop a tree branch across the hood and front left fender of my 1967 VW Bug. No other body shop in the area wanted to even try to repair the damage at a reasonable price; few even had the capability to repair a classic car. Most body shops simply want to replace damaged parts with new parts straight from the manufacturer. The '67 Bug is a one year model. Original parts for replacement are extremely rare and are definitely not available through VW. Mike Davey and his crew took on the job and exceeded my expectations. They repaired the damage without replacing parts and brought my Bug back to life. read more

Nice guys but they didn't do the work they were supposed to. The whole panel should have been taken off to paint. I even asked if a scratch would be covered because of the paint job. They said that it would (not that they were supposed to take the scratch out, it was just a curious question because it was near the dent) it clearly hadn't been painted. Not only that, the damage spot that was "fixed" bubbles pretty badly. They do warranty their work but there was no way could leave my only car for another week to get fixed again. Very disappointed in the work. It seemed rushed. read more

Ive gotten service from mike at a shop where he previously worked now that hes gotten his own the service has gotten better I just visited the shop out of trying to locate him since he left west coast auto body I was given a tour and the same day got quoted and some pieces removed off my Kia to be painted, work from 0 to 100 in 48 hours no job to big or too small for these guys pieces were put back on my car to give it a custom look couldnt of been done any better. Mike and the guys down at Davey's Auto Body are as good as it gets. I was involved in a rear end collision and needed most of the back end replaced of my 2004 BMW M3. As well as fixing the rear end, Mike helped repair some existing damage to the front side of my car as well.
