    Fresh strawberries
    Susan G.

I came here from a blackbird promotion and got the fresh strawberry ice cream. It was fresh, delicious and I can taste the strawberry bits. It just what I needed on a summer afternoon. The location isn't hard to find, located right inside Moynihan train hall. I definitely want to try the other flavors next time!

My Davey's Ice Cream Party was a huge success. I had Vanilla and it was delicious. I haven't had M&M's in forever! I also added coconut, chopped peanuts, and hot fudge on my Sunday too. I completely forgot about getting a cone. They have Vegan Ice Cream made from Oat Milk and Almond Milk. I wanted to try each flavor but there were a lot of people and children. The employees from Davey's were very nice. The server said I could post her photo. They were on time for the party and all set up ready to serve ice cream before the guests arrived. Everything was handled professionally. Make sure if you have them at your party you plan for enough of the ice cream, cones and toppings for everyone! I'm also recommending you visit the nearest Davey's to try their ice cream first. Everything may have just tasted good to me because I haven't had any of the Sunday sweets or ice cream for so long!

This location in Moynihan is my favorite and the staff is super nice and friendly. With the blackbird promotion, they tried to ensure you were scanned in before the time of the promotion passed. The staff made this location my favorite. The portion size is generous and the flavors are great. They even let you sample them so you aren't stuck with a flavor you don't like.

Came here with a friend for their BlackBird app special back in August. The ice cream was so good! I tasted the coffee flavor which was so rich and smooth. Only downside is there are no seats because most areas are only opened for ticketed passengers only! Technically not Davey's fault, but just keep in mind you might have to grab and go or eat standing nearby.

Buttery smooth ice cream as you wait for your train. It's a little pricey but that's what you get in any train or airport for the convenience. The small cup was $7 and the scoop was enough to share.

Delicious ice cream while you wait for your train, what more could you ask for? I had a single scoop of roasted pistachio, and it was a generous scoop! This ice cream had more pistachios than I ever remember seeing in other ice creams!

Great addition to Moynihan food hall. Thick milkshake $11. First time trying Davey's, I know I'm late to the party. Prices are comparable to other places like Ample Hills or Van Leeuwen and quality equally good or better. Flavors are more on the classic side but very good. Shake was very thick and tasty, the "chocolate chocolate" flavor was like a dark chocolate which I enjoyed

Came here on their opening day and got to taste their strawberry ice cream. They had many great flavors to choose from but if you like simple flavors, I'd definitely get the strawberry. It was very creamy and didn't melt too quickly. The waffle cone also had a good crunch and held well. The servers were also super sweet and I didn't have a long wait either. If you're in the Penn Station area and need a little dessert, this place is the place to go!

Over $9 for a basic cup with one taste. I get that you're inside the new Moynihan Train Station, but prices in the food hall are outrageous.

Great ice cream option in Moniyhan. Cookies and cream was on point! Speculloos was also good. Wish their hot fudge was not as runny.

There are different types of cold treats: gelatos and more slushie like consistency frozen confections that are served in a cup. My vegan friend appreciated that he could choose from multiple vegan flavors, not just be limited to the one and only offering, which is what most places usually have. Melon flavor was incredible. Tasted like frozen melon was crushed with ice and chopped into an ice/smoothie blend. Super refreshing. Very sweet, though. All flavors are very sweet, so a small portion can be shared and you will feel satisfied. I personally enjoyed their in-house special flavor of gelato: honey cream with crushed almonds, pistachios, and hazelnuts. That was bombastic! Love how nutty the consistency was. I love nuts, so this almost reminded me of a chunky peanut butter situation: just more fine grained and smooth, with gelato being the base. Highly recommend trying this flavor! Focacia was okay. A bit too dry and bland for my liking, but still decent. My favorite item was the pistachio bombolone which is officially now my favorite dessert. This was magnificent! The yeasty dough was so light and airy--perfectly light and balanced. The filling of pistachio cream was very delicate and not sweet at all, which was such a nice surprise. I do not like saccharine dessert. The fresh raspberry jam was a perfect balance to the pistachio cream. I never like jams in my desserts, but this was a perfect complement. Woooow, what a treat! Can't wait to return for it and to try more of their other flavors--hazelnut & chocolate, coconut, white chocolate, tiramisu. You could taste the superb quality of the ingredients. Highly recommend.

And I'm from Maryland (Murlyn), I don't mean a sno-ball. I mean that flaky, instantly melting ice carved mechanically using some kind of drill motor with all the torque, off a block the size of a dorm fridge and then topped with syrupy fruits and condensed milk and such. And this wasn't that either, but I now need to find a place for this near me. It was more like regular ice cream at a soft-serve consistency, topped with all the things-- that part was as expected. Hubs & I were thinking of getting two different things but we both wanted the mango madness, and then the checkout person said it was the size of a quart container. So just one then. I wish we got to see it being made up but it was full in there (at 10p, after the theaters let out), and they seated us and gave us a buzzer that went off almost immediately. We almost didn't finish it even between the two of us. Absolutely delicious, just overwhelmingly enormous. It could be a low-grade food challenge to complete it! And with all that fruit, actual mango chunks and a banana, it's practically a healthy snack. Gotta find one of these closer to home!

I was just walking by when they were handing out samples, took one bite, and immediately turned around to buy a full serving. It was THAT good. In fact, I went back the very next day... no regrets. There's just something special about their gelato--especially when topped with that rich pistachio sauce. On a previous visit to their Times Square location, I had one of their more decadent creations: gelato with waffle sticks and pistachio sauce. It was absolutely heavenly and incredibly delicious. This time, I didn't have room for something quite as indulgent, but I still wanted something sweet after dinner at La Basque. The closest Amorino was in Greenwich Village, just a 10-minute walk away. That walk alone is always a treat--Greenwich Village is charming, pedestrian-friendly, and full of outdoor dining and energy, especially on a September Saturday afternoon. I grabbed my gelato to-go and chose the amarena and hazelnut flavors, topped with the signature pistachio sauce. They poured the sauce at the bottom of the cup, and it hardened slightly to create a delicious shell underneath the gelato. I enjoyed it while walking through the Village, soaking in the late-summer atmosphere of the city with gelato in hand. Simple, sweet, and exactly what I needed.
