David recently photographed and shot video for my proposal and let me tell you, he was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. 1. David is the consummate professional: days before the proposal he took the time to travel to the proposal venue with my fiancé (unbeknownst to me at the time), and block photographs, video and the proposal itself. He had so many ideas on how to do things... things he and I frankly never would have guessed - from hidden cameras to capture every minute, to drone video (which we got and looked awesome!) He also advised on how to get the best shots during the whole proposal (my fiancé had him mark an "x" in rose petals showing him where to kneel prior to the proposal). 2. David is beyond thorough: apart from getting the best angles, David was at the venue to set up 1.5 hours beforehand so as to (a) make sure everything was set up correctly and tested and (b) to make sure the surprise was not ruined. Again, it is without a a doubt that David prides himself in his professionalism. 3. Everything ran seamlessly: from the (four!) photographers we had at he proposal to the drone camera we had shoot video, David made sure that nothing went wrong. 4. The pictures and video look absolutely amazing. I am not exaggerating that our friends and family were moved to tears watching the finished product. We can't thank him enough for capturing not just the moment of the proposal, but the spirit of the day as well. 5. The price was beyond reasonable. We had a vision of what he wanted to do and David helped us achieve what we wanted. When it came time to talk price, David was ultra-reasonable and every dollar we spent was completely worth it. He captured the raw emotion of each moment. He then put together the most incredible proposal video for us in just two days! David deserves 6 stars if it existed. He brought on a team of video experts, including a drone operator to shoot my Surprise Proposal which included a Flash Mob. Since it was a Flash Mob, he had to get several different shots including the Flash Mob dancing and my fiance's reaction. Once it was done, he turned the video around in less than 1 day, and met with us to make any changes that we wanted. He's very professional, friendly, and reliable. Couldn't have asked for anything more. From the start, David had ideas, stayed responsive and was eager to help in every way. David shot our proposal video but it felt like much more than that. He's clearly experienced but not in the "I know what's best, you should listen to me" kind of way. He stayed flexible with tweaks and details and proved what's important is the client's process through it all, not his own. I really appreciated that. In addition to his work style, his work product is fantastic. Our video came out perfectly and the turnaround time was unbelievable. The proposal took place early afternoon and he had the finished product ready before 8pm that same day. We asked him to try another song in the video but, in the end, his original product was better than our own suggestions. Again, proved he really knows his craft. He also has the resources to make you happy. He was able to round up another cameraman on short notice and on a holiday weekend. He has everything you need.
