Great experience, I scheduled an appointment and worked with Sophie the whole time this past weekend. I went in with a game plan and she worked with it selecting three different types of styles and other dresses within those styles to narrow it down. I tried on about 5-6 dresses and found the one. When I couldn't decide between two dresses, Sophie didn't have a problem letting me try on a dress I previously tried on again just to confirm. She "jacked me up" adding accessories and a lovely long veil and, voila, it was it... I had found the one (again). Sophie was patient, kind and did everything with a smile. read more

I was the Maid of Honor for my sister's wedding 2 weeks ago. The location in Washington where I ordered my original dress mis-measured me and ordered the wrong size dress. Since my dress was being discontinued, reordering was not an option. I lost weight to try and fit in the dress, but didn't lose the inches where needed. With 5 days left until the wedding, I went into this location, explained the situation and that I needed a floor length dress in Iris in my size. Jan went straight to work. She searched every dress and pulled out every option they had for me. She set me up in a fitting room and with a consultant, and then came back over numerous times to make sure everything was going smoothly. The only complaint I have, is the ladies in the back with alterations weren't very friendly or understanding. They seemed mad that I wasn't allowing much time for my dress to be steamed. Regardless of the situation, I had just gotten into town and immediately went in. Exchanging the dress or not, it still would have been the same 5 days to have it steamed. And my sister gave them fair warning ahead of time. I know that's not ideal, but giving me dirty looks and an attitude are totally uncalled for. I took the dress straight off the rack, as is. I'm sorry to write this. When my daughter picked out the dress, the lady helping us acted like it was an inconvenience. She was helping another girl also. So that was the first issue. We have been attempting to return this dress, never worn, tags on it, for MONTHS. Before Covid ever hit. The number for the Westminster store has a recording on it saying it is disconnected. Before then you could leave a message but we never got a return call. The website will tell you to text for immediate assistance. We have done that twice with no response. I finally got a hold of a live person at another store. Told her a little of what was going on, and she looked up the date and said absolutely no returns. I haven't been able to explain anything to anyone. In my opinion, as MOB, they don't care. Once they have your money, you are just another number to them. They were not very accommodating in the beginning, but now they definitely are not. If we were able to get through to somebody in the time frame, it would not have been a problem with the return. I would be careful purchasing here. If I could do no stars, I would. Sorry for writing a review like this, but the public needs to know. And since there is no way to get ahold of anybody, maybe this will work. read more

I just had the worst experience in a davids bridal! My wedding is this weekend and I just went in to look at some head pieces with my maid of honor. We were doing just fine by ourselves when TAYNA came over and asked us if we needed any help which is fine, however when I just said we were just looking for head jewelry she looks at me and says "ohhhh...... for prom?" With a sarcastic tone and shit eating grin on her face, then proceeded to look me up and down and goes "have you looked in the clearance?" Just because it's my day off and I have a concert t-shirt and a pair of jeans on doesn't mean I don't have money. Thanks though. THEN when I was checking out JAN asks my maid of honor if she has a brides account with them, and when I said I was the one getting married she completely ignored me and kept trying to get my maid of honors phone number for the computer. Then when my maid of honor pointed at me and said I was the one getting married she looked at me rolled her eyes and goes "oh...." I have never felt more disrespected in any establishment. I came in today to find a bridesmaid's dress for my sister's wedding. Having recently lost over 100 lbs, I have a very difficult time finding items that show off my figure but hide the work I have left. Chantel, was incredible. I decided to try this store before purchasing TWELVE dresses we had already chosen: 6 bridesmaid dresses, 2 Mothers of Bride/Groom dresses, 2 Grandmothers of the Bride dresses, and 2 flower girl dresses; not to mention various accessories that we had picked out to go with all of these dresses. Major disappointment. I made an appointment to try on my dress and was promptly greeted with a "Hello ... What's your name, when's the wedding..." I was then shown the dresses from which to choose, and was pointed in the direction of my dressing room. The employee said she'd return to check on me, then started to walk away. She didn't introduce herself, so I had to ask. I thumbed through the dresses, having to find the label in the back of each one to find my size (suggestion: Put sizes on the hangers). I finally found a few dresses to try on. The dressing rooms have no mirrors to allow you to see yourself privately - you have to step outside the dressing room to view yourself. The dressing rooms did not have a chair or a bench on which to sit while taking off shoes, or for laying your clothes. I had to drape my clothes on a hanger peg sticking out of the wall. The store was not busy at all. After trying on each of the dresses, stepping out of the dressing room, and looking around for my "helper" each time, it was clear she had other priorities. I changed my clothes and walked out. Why did I have to make an appointment to be ignored? I'm glad I scouted out this store in person before each of the 12 of us started coming in to secure our dresses & accessories. David's Bridal just lost a huge account. We won't be back. read more

Where to start... my experience at the Aurora David's Bridal was painful. Save yourself the trouble and don't go here for wedding gowns. The first time my sister and I went in just to look around. We were unaware that you had to have an appointment for bridal gowns and were just intending to look--it was the first time I had ventured into a store, so had no idea what to expect. They sure set the bar low, so ladies, don't settle! We wandered around for over 15 minutes before anyone came over to ask if we needed help. Fast forward--made the appointment and came in with my mom and sister. When I checked in (on-time), I was notified there weren't any consultants available. Huh? What's the point of making an appointment? 20 minutes later, they finally found someone to help--Victoria. She introduced herself, but made no effort to ask about who was with me or anything about my wedding beyond the date. I told her that this was my first time looking and had no clue what would look good for my body type (short and curvy!). Subsequently, she told me to go wander the racks and pick out 4-6 dresses. Again--huh? I just said I didn't know what I was looking for. Also, turns out she was helping five other girls at the same time! Needless to say, she couldn't be very attentive or helpful being pulled in that many directions. Maybe if you get to work with Victoria on a day when she's only helping you, perhaps she's perfectly helpful and good at her job. This occasion, that was not the case. Left the store feeling overwhelmed, unsure and unhappy. Not a good first dress shopping experience. read more

As far as selection goes David's does have quite a lot of choices in a range of sizes that is better then you're going to get in most places in the Denver Metro. I've been into David's a few times before and not much has changed so they do get points for consistency. The problem with David's is that they pretty much carry two styles of dresses. You either go really plain Jane or you get a poufy Princess dress. Most of their stuff has appliqué, satin or taffeta on it and is A-Line. David's does boast a more impressive variety when it comes to wedding party apparel; unfortunately for them this time around I'm not looking to outfit anyone but myself. This location was clean and the staff was friendly, but it was kind of a ghost town when I was in... there weren't a whole lot of people around to help. David's does have very cheap dresses; if you are looking to spend under $500 on your dress it's probably the place for you. read more

I have had previous experiences with David's Bridal in the past and was vehemently against using them for any reason when I got engaged a year ago. After searching online for months for bridesmaid dresses, I finally decided on a Vera Wang dress. I could not find any store in the Denver area besides David's Bridal that carried the line. So, I made an appointment, a major error in judgment. I don't know if it was because I only had 2 bridesmaids, or if it was because we look young (which we are all in our late twenties), or maybe because they didn't think we had money to spend, but our customer service was horrible. We were immediately greeted when we walked in and the woman was nice. That's where the friendliness stopped. We waited 15 minutes to meet with our consultant and another 15 for her to come measure my bridesmaids. She didn't even get their sizes close to right--she put one of them in a 10 and she ended purchasing a size 4. She pulled the Vera Wang dresses and a couple others that we liked. That's where she stopped helping us. I pulled the smaller sizes needed, as well as some other dresses, as we narrowed down what was flattering. Once we decided on dresses, I found the color chart (the consultant didn't even offer to show us other colors). I picked a few colors and asked to see them. She couldn't find dresses in the colors and told us they didn't have samples. My sister rifled through racks of dresses until she found the 3 colors---the ones that they supposedly didn't have samples of. My best friend lives in Hawaii and we had a very limited amount of time and ended up purchasing both dresses. When we began questioning about alterations and having one of the dresses sent to a Hawaii store, we could not get a straight answer. I wish that's where our experience ended. When the dresses arrived at the store, my sister received multiple emails informing her that they would return the dress to the store if she did not pick it up. We went to the store a week after she received the first email, so you better make sure you don't let ANY time pass if you want the dress you paid for in full. Our service was worse the second time around. We waited 30 minutes just to pick up a dress and not one person checked back on us. I waited at the front desk for 15 minutes to sign some paperwork. Our service was so bad, we decided to find someone else to alter and steam the dresses so we did not have to step foot back into David's Bridal. In the end, I should have listened to my own instincts and found bridesmaid dresses elsewhere. Although the prices are decent, we would have paid quite a bit more for a better experience and for me not to have done the job of someone else. read more

Rude. Over-priced. Freaking lame. Too long to tell my story, but ladies, seriously do not waste your money or your time.

I had a horrible experience shopping at this store. The wedding consultants just care about the sale, not about their customers and they side and defend each other instead of apologizing for their lies or lack of effort on their part. Here's what happened in my situation: I went onto the David's Bridal website and researched the dresses/styles I wanted to try on. I went to a store on a Friday night and the store only had 2 out of the 7 dresses I wanted to try on in my size. I suggested trying on one of the dresses I liked in a size bigger than I normally wear just to see how it looked. I ended up liking the dress, however they needed to order the dress in my size and it wouldn't arrive until a few weeks before my wedding. I asked if any of the 2 other local David's Bridal locations had the dress in my size since I really wanted to see how it looked when it fit me right. After the wedding consultant "checked the system" she said none were available in my size locally and I had to order the dress by the end of business day in order for it to arrive in time for my wedding. After feeling the pressure of possibly not getting the dress, I caved in and agreed to buy the dress and have it ordered in my size. The very next day, Saturday, I decided to double-check and called the 2 other David's Bridal locations nearby to see if they had the dress I just bought in my size. Coincidentally, one of the stores had the dress in my size! What a "miracle" since the consultant I spoke with the night before told me there were none in my size anywhere else and this one miraculously appeared the next day on a Saturday morning at a different store! So I went to that location and tried on the dress in my size. I asked if I could take this dress home since I didn't want to wait for my dress to arrive at the other store only a few weeks before my wedding. The consultant spoke to her "supervisor" who told her it is too complicated to do it that way and to just wait since I shouldn't worry since the dresses usually come sooner than the expected date. I left that store feeling frustrated and after the weekend was over, I confirmed that I wanted to go back to the store where I ordered my dress and try on different dresses since I felt restricted with the limited number of styles I tried on in the first place. I went back on Monday and got the same wedding consultant to my dismay, but I bit my tongue about the earlier situation since I wanted this experience to be in good spirits. I took it upon myself to go to several racks with all different sizes including my own and chose several different styles that I wanted to try on and see how they looked on me. The first dress I put on was 2 sizes too big for me, however, with the help of a few clips in the back to hold it in place, I knew it was "The One". I knew this since I had that those "feelings" people say you get when you know it's the right dress, which I didn't have with the original dress I purchased. I got teary-eyed, happy, excited, breathless, and I didn't want to take the dress off! I was able to exchange the dress and, same as the first dress I had purchased, this dress needed to be ordered in my size. The problem was, my size wasn't going to be available until AFTER my wedding. The only available size that would arrive in time for the wedding on was a size SMALLER than I originally wore, which meant I would need alterations after it arrived unless I lost weight. I took my chances and decided to proceed with the order. My wedding date is 8/29/09 and the dress was scheduled to arrive on 8/07/09. The consultant told me I had enough time to make alterations to the dress if needed. On 8/10/09, I still hadn't received a call from David's Bridal about the arrival of my dress, so I called them myself. The consultant on the phone advised me that the dress arrived on 7/02/09!!! OVER A MONTH EARLIER!! She stated that they "emailed" me. I never received an email!! After arriving to the store and speaking to the manager, she told me that all stores have switched to automated responses and they no longer call customers when dresses arrive. You'd think that after over a month that the dress was sitting there they'd make an attempt to call since the email wasn't successful. On top of that, I found out they had inputted the WRONG email address in their system so if I hadn't called to check on the status myself, the dress would have still sat there!!! FORTUNATELY, I had lost 15 pounds for my wedding and the smaller dress size fit, which was the only good outcome out of this fiasco. After advising the manager of the unnecessary stress I had due to the fault of their consultants, the manager had the attitude that I was overreacting and sided with the consultants. It gave me the impression that this was a common practice at their stores. If you Google "David's Bridal reviews", you will see even worse experiences than mine. read more

HORRIBLE service. My friend and I got engaged a few weeks ago and we both haven't had time to look for a dress. She surprised me and picked me up today and said we're going to find a dress. I was so excited. We went into this davids bridal and a lady saw us come in and asked if we needed help and we said we're just walking around right but would eventually. I found a dress and my friend found one too, so we went to the dressing room to try it on. A few moments later a lady come knocking on the door, yelling at us saying we needed an appointment and she would need to see if she had any availability (there was one other girl in the store trying on a dress) and was SO rude. It killed our first experience looking for a dress. If she had been more polite and explained to us the process and that we needed an appointment we would've totally understood and apologized and made an appointment, but yelling at your customers who have no idea and when looking for a dress it's a special experience now tarnished by someone's rudeness. Please try to remember that the next time you go off on a girl trying on a wedding dress. read more

Wow. Rudest people ever. I walk in and start looking at the bridemaids dresses, I saw FOUR people that worked there walk pass me and they didn't ask if I needed help or have been helped. Finally I asked a lady walking by whom I had seen already if she could help me, then she called out another ladys name a said "can you help this woman?" And walked away. She had annoyed written all over her face. So the lady she had called out asked what "she" had decided for the colors. I had to tell her I am the bride. Not that big of a deal, but assuming makes a you know what out of you and me. The final straw was, I had pointed out a color and asked what it was and she said "oh but I love the plum so much!" Trying to change my mind on my own color for bridesmaids dresses. I didn't ask her opinion in the first place. Least helpful people on the planet, I would have better luck at Wal Mart. read more

I've come in several times as a maid of honor and a bride and it gets more and more disappointing. This November I went on and purchased my dress off the rack and ordered my bridesmaids' dresses. We didn't receive the $20 off on one of the dresses and were treated very rudely by the staff. We were told we would be notified when the dresses came in and HAD to pick them up within a week. Early February one of the dresses came in and the girl was notified, but we hadn't heard about the others. I went in last night (3/5/16) to ask about it. They had the wrong last name on the order and the dress had been sitting in their back room for a month without a call to us. When I questioned why we hadn't been called, the associates got very rude and very loud to the point other shoppers were staring at us. It was humiliating. I will be going to Park Meadows for the rest of our alterations and accessories, even though it's 20 minutes out of our way. read more

I came in here with my groom and a bridesmaid to browse bridesmaid dresses. I was also in the market for a long sleeve bridal gown. At first everyone was very helpful. After browsing the wedding gowns I found that they did not have any long sleeve gowns in my size. I did find a dress on clearance that was made out of a beautiful dotted chiffon. I thought, what the hell, I need to try on a few different styles to see what I like, might as well start now. I asked an associate for assistance and made sure that I was not a burden and I even offered to schedule an appointment at a later time, but the girls were all very helpful at first and assured me that they had plenty of time to help. A woman came to help me, found some appropriate under garments for me and clipped me into this dress. The first wedding dress I ever tried on. It was a halter. The only thing it exposed were my arms. The only reservations I had were that I wanted a long sleeve dress in Ivory. I loved the look of the dress, it was mostly the fabric that I fell in love with. Immediately she started bringing over veils and jeweled belts to pair with my dress. It was as if the associate decided that this was the dress I was getting married in. After I expressed interest in the full style but was still worried about there being no sleeves my associate got pulled away and put with another bride. I was left alone in this dress for a long time. I didn't love it, it was the first dress I tried on.. and it was sleeveless. After my bridesmaid had to track down our associate she came over with a bell, told me to close me eyes and asked me if I could see myself getting married in this dress. I told her yes , its on clearance so why not and rang the bell, before she even found out if it was available in my size. My associate was rushed and flustered and very short with us during this later process. After a little commotion she found the dress online in my size. But you better believe my groom was livid.. all this time and we don't even know is the dress is available? Overall i felt very rushed and pressured into purchasing this dress. My associate told me that I could return or exchange anything I was adding on, such as new undergarments, fashion belts, veil, or accessories. The only thing I knew was that with a clearance dress, if you order it, its yours. Next thing you know I have a david's bridal credit card with my name spelled incorrectly, purchased a whole bunch of stuff and am made to sign a final sale receipt. What just happened? Like really... what just happened? What was I just pressured into? A cheap dress with a $130 belt? A $159 veil, and you guys charge HOW MUCH for a garment bag. Not including a garment bag when someone pays hundreds or thousands of dollars for a dress is in extremely bad form. Yes in the end it was my decision to purchase the dress, but the hundreds of dollars of add-ons were a surprise and I was led to believe that they were all returnable/exchangeable. Overall it was an unpleasant experience. I found the dress I wanted on Davids Bridal dot com and purchased an Oleg Cassini for $1100 last night. I know I will be more than happy with it. It has everything I described the first time I walked into your store. I just hate that I had to spend $700+ of unrefundable money prior to finding it. read more

My sister got married last month and we made the mistake of choosing to work with David's Bridal out of convenience. We will never do that again! Horrible service, less than personable staff. They really give you the impression that they don't care at all... and they don't. Our dresses took about two months after ordering to come in. We were assured that we would receive a call when they got in. We were starting to worry as the wedding date was approaching so we called in to check. They had been sitting there waiting with no call from the staff. A week AFTER we had already picked up the bridesmaids dresses, we started to get multiple calls to tell us that the dresses were ready to pick up. To add to that, the dresses stained with WATER if they got even the slightest bit wet (of course it happened to rain a bit on our outdoor photo shoot). I was told by the store and by corporate office that it is NORMAL for formal wear to stain with water and that there would be no compensation even though there was no warning labels on the dresses. Apparently with these dresses, you are expected to steer clear from rain, sweat, condensation, and even washing your hands throughout the hours of wedding celebration. Good luck with that. Or you can order elsewhere and not deal with these crazy people. :) read more

After a HORRIBLE experience at the park meadows location, this location was a breath of fresh air. The manager, Rebecca, is amazing and so sweet. I came to her in complete distress due to how badly if been treated at park meadows and she fixed EVERYTHING. Lucy, in alterations, is such a doll too! I heard Rebecca talking to the park meadows manager who was complaining that some girl was an inconvenience to them and Rebecca said, "transfer her over here. We'll make it work. " That is a perfect illustration of how poor park meadows is and how wonderful Auroras personnel are! read more

HORRIBLE customer service! This is crazy....you are greeted at the door by somebody sitting at a podium telling you to have at it...there are the dresses! Very little help once you are in the dressing room. The associates were all busy with their smartphones laughing it up sharing text messages and pictures. Guess you get what you pay for. If I could give a zero I would. Two months before our appointment with my 7 bridesmaids I picked out the dress I wanted them to wear and it was entered into the computer. Show up on the date of appt with 7 girls, one who drove 2 1/2 hours one and all who took of work, checked in and nothing was said. Filled out the paperwork, nothing was said, got to dressing rooms again nothing was said. THEN I was told the dress I wanted was discontinued. No other cotton dresses offered. The manager said "look you can take a picture of it and find someone to make it" NO help at all. I was completely stressed out everyone came for me and now they didn't have it. Not once was sorry said to me not once did anyone grab another dress that looked similar to even see if I liked it, in 10 min I was asked "so what do you want to do" by 3 associates. So rude, no compassion, no solutions. My girls had to go looking through the dresses to find other similar dresses! The manager was a complete bitch to me to be frank. The lady who sized my girls (older, short blonde hair, extremely loud) kept arguing with the girls what size they were and making rude comments about their body figures, I was appalled by her! Nothing was made right, no discounts offered for THEIR mistake, no apology, none of them made me feel like a bride let alone made me feel like I mattered at all. The only person who tried to help me was Jamie the check in hostess but unfortunately didn't have the authority to make things right. They do this because they know they are the only such place with options for bridesmaid dresses at a reasonable price. I pray that some competition comes along! I will never use this davids bridal again, not because the discontinuation which was out of their control, but becasue of how rude they were to me and the 7 women in my life that brought them in over $1000! ~Skylar Smith read more

Not only were we never acknowledged once, we had to search for a staff member that could at least just answer a few questions. She was incredibly rude and in a rush. I'm sorry, but there was only 1 other group of customers in there and they were being helped by another lady. How busy are you? When I told her what I was looking for, she said, "Ugh, nobody makes anything like that." Funny, I found the exact dress I was looking for at another dress shop. Customer service is awful. I had an appointment at 7:30pm. Sue was supposed to be helping me. I looked at dresses for about 20 minutes before she took my measurements. I had the wrong size dresses picked out so she just took them back and hung them on the racks. I thought maybe she would help me look for similar ones in my size...nope. She told me to look at dresses some more and NEVER came back. A few ladies asked if I had been helped and I explained the situation and instead of getting me a room set up, they just looked for Sue...Still couldn't find her. I'm sad to see that the reviews of this David's Bridal are so low. I am getting married in March 2019 and went to this store with my mom, my sister and my best friend to find a wedding dress. Our experience was incredible! Jennifer was absolutely amazing. Not only did it feel like she was just another one of my friends helping me in and out if dresses, she was so fast getting me in and out of dresses! She didn't let me overthink it which was so nice because I didn't have a clue as to what I wanted even though I had already been to another store to try on dresses. We found the perfect dress and all four of us cried! She also stayed much longer with us to help me find my bridesmaids dresses and my mothers dress which was so great because now I don't have to worry about any of that. Slow does not even come close. Be prepared to wait. Even on the slowest of days. Every time I have gone into this place it has been like pulling teeth while I sit and wait for service to pick up, or pay, or just ask a question. The Straw that broke the camels back. After purchasing my dress here I went back at a different occasion to quickly purchase a slip to go with the dress. Bad idea. I walked in an was greeted. I told the woman what I needed, and she wanted to sit me down to get all of my information. I said I just want to quickly pick up a slip for my dress, and I did not have time for sitting down and taking my info. She asked if I knew what kind of slip I needed, I said yes. She took me to the back of the store, I picked out the slip and the woman told me to go up front for them to check me out. Keep in mind that this is the same woman who was behind the counter, I guess she did not have time to walk me back and ring up my purchase. I went up to the front where the manager was helping another client, and their was a sales person sitting in the middle of the store doing nothing. The whole time I am waiting the manager never even looked up at me or let me know that she would be right with me. The manager was talking with the client and told her she would need to go to the back and look through something to find what the client was looking for. I asked the manager if there was any one that could ring me up for my slip and she said I would have to wait. Being that I was already rushed as it was I left the slip on the counter and will not return. I have spent to much of my life already waiting at that counter. I will make sure to let all of my friends and family know that this is not the store to shop at. I understand a one time thing, but consistently getting the same thing with waiting is just bad service and management. I never even got a call letting me know the bride's maid dress that I paid for had come in. I had to stop in and ask if was there. Surprise Surprise it was. I expect more from a national chain. Maybe local bridal shops are the way to go. read more

We went to David's Bridal, Aurora, on a busy Saturday afternoon, everyone in the store was very friendly and all were willing to stop and help any customer that had a question. I also had a dress altered and Lucy, the seamstress was amazing. I would highly recommend this store. read more

Lucy, we love you! My daughter got her dress at David's in Park Meadows, but their alterations schedule was full, so they sent us to the Aurora store for alterations. We couldn't have been happier. Lucy was amazing! We were thrilled we found her. From start to finish she was kind, energetic, capable, creative and upbeat. She worked with us patiently to come up with a creative busting arrangement that my daughter was completely satisfied with. We truly loved the entire experience. read more

I had a great experience at David's Bridal. Amanda was very helpful, energetic and had a really good idea of what I wanted. I think this store is understaffed (I saw now hiring signs posted). I also think that it's best to make an appt rather than just walking in. I made appointments when I went in and didn't have a problem. read more

This was the most disappointing shopping I have ever been involved with in my 65 years. Our salesperson was 25 min late, disappeared for another 15 minutes to help someone else and then brought all the WRONG sizes for undergarments, as well as wedding dresses and we were told to "imagine" what it would look like. My daughter-in-law was in tears. Don't go here, it is an insult to happiness! read more
