Dresses are fine and I did appreciate the overall experience with staff helping me find a dress but their return policy and lack of transparency about was really upsetting. I'm also aware that it's likely a corporate policy but basically I bought two dresses a few weeks ago. One I bought off the rack and a second was ordered by associate because the store didn't have the color I preferred. Within 24 hrs of being notified that my dress was in, nearly two weeks post ordering, I went in and tried it on the store. I decided on the spot, before leaving the store even, it did not fit right. I went to return but was told I could only get store credit because it was outside their 7 day return window... even though I ordered it through the store and had gotten it within 24 hours of notification. If you are unwilling to change the policy at least train staff to communicate such policies before purchase. Sleezy transaction. read more

There is so much to say about David's bridal being as I have been dealing with them since February. My first appointment a couple months after getting engaged wasn't the best, I wouldn't say it was aweful but not what I had hoped for. I made an appointment and was expecting to get a good deal of attention but found myself standing in the middle of the store in a dress I wanted to take off with no one to be found, I did buy my dress from here but at that time my consultant wasn't very pleasant, I just got the vibe that she could care less and hated her job. My second appointment I was told that my previous consultant was no longer with the store and that I would be with another employee which immediately made my stress level go through the roof thinking it would be worse than before. Luckly I was placed with Michelle and I am so Greatful for her. I was there on a busy Saturday and she was swamped but she ran her butt off to make sure all her customers were happy and had what they needed, all with a smile on her face. She completely changed my previous opinion of the store. 3rd and 4th appointments were in alterations where I got the pleasure of meeting all the wonderful girls in the back (some of them should be on the floor more interacting with customers, they are so friendly) on my last appointment I had a great time with Trimble in alterations, she's such a sweetheart, on top of that Michelle even came back to say hi to me even though I wasn't with her that day and wanted to see my dress after the bussling. I feel like people look at the bad to often with this store from what I've read and I really wanted to point out the positive experience I had. If your needing a dress make sure you make an appointment with Michelle, you will have a blast while shopping! read more

So this was my second time going into David's bridal and it was WAY better than the first time.. India was GREAT!!! I need a dress and bridesmaid dresses she brung me two different bridesmaid dresses and I fell in love with them just like that!! This place has the worst customer service if I wasn't on a tight budget and could find a dress anywhere I would NOT go here. I've gone in here 4 times over the course of my bridal purchase and 3 of the 4 visits I left crying with tears of pure frustration. Please please please make your purchase at ANY OTHER bridal shop! Go out of town if you have to. If you MUST go here, do not go on a weekend! There is no one on one service and your helper will desert you and might come back 20 minutes later. People and kids are everywhere including your try on area. My order was wrong and wrong again. They did not have what I ordered in the system but had several other items I did not order. The rep argued with me on my second trip to make a payment saying I haven't paid for my dress yet. Thank God I had my receipt to prove otherwise finally she says oh I guess you did. I live 45 min from here and made a trip each time for their corrections and even the manager argued with me. I'm so glad I finally got everything (even though one item was not what I ordered) and I'm done here. Going back for alterations? Heck NO! Finding a local seamstress. This is probably the best experience I've had at a David's bridal BY FAR!!! Our previously ordered bridesmaids dress order with a different company fell through and we have only 3wks left. These women (Erin, Jess, and Lindsey) waited on us hand and foot. Erin, our consultant, was nothing short of amazing. She couldn't find our dress in store and called around to find them in 3 different stores across the nation to find it. We were in there for two hours and with their help and God's grace, we were able to get ALL of our dresses and they will be delivered in less than 2 wks! You ladies are amazing!!! I was a little skeptical when my daughter booked an appointment at David's Bridal. I was relieved that we had another appointment at Henri's. Much to my surprise our experience at David's was fantastic and Henri's was a huge disappointment. Deah worked with us and she was a total pro. She pulled a great variety of dresses based on the few parameters we gave her. She knew just the right sashes and veils to pair with the dresses. My daughter fell in love with a dress, but Deah did not pressure us to 'say yes to the dress.' She knew we had another appointment to go to and let us know she would be happy to work with us if we came back. Henri's couldn't compare to the customer service. Shopped at the Davids Bridal location in Hoover Alabama for a "mother of the groom" dress. We had a little trouble at the beginning because the store was jam packed and no one was helping us but once we got a stylist she was great. From the start of ordering my dress, there were issues. I ordered the dress at this location and was told that they would be able to ship it out of state to me without a problem. With the pandemic going on, they did not communicate with me at all on the status of my dress. I was given three different dates that the dress would be guaranteed in store by, and each date passed without a single communication from the store or David's Bridal. I kept calling to try to get an update on the dress and was told four different times that the store would call me back, and they never did. When the dress finally did arrive at the store ten days before the wedding, they did not contact me that the dress in. I ended up calling them a week before the wedding to see if it was in, and the dress had been sitting in the store for four days. I was told repeatedly by David's Bridal and this location that they would alert me as soon as the dress arrived in store, and I lost precious time before the wedding due to this error. When I was on the phone with them, they proceeded to tell me to come in store to pick it up, even though it was on the order that the dress needed shipped out of state. They ended up shipping it a week after it arrived in store and never sent me the tracking information. With the dress arriving 3 days before the wedding, I have to pay to get rush alterations at a different place since they will not do the alterations for me. Overall, they have a huge communication problem with their customers. If you are looking for a store that will keep their customers updated and be honest with them, I recommend looking at a different store and different company. read more

Davids as a company, is garbage. Cookie cutter dresses, every wedding ends up looking exactly the same because everyone buys cheap, poorly made and even more poorly altered, dresses. I've shopped for bridesmaid dresses and have been to many a bride fitting at various Davids locations. They're all kind of meh but this specific location takes the cake for being THE worst. Super rude staff that stands around while they're obviously not busy yet won't help anyone. I honestly felt assaulted when I left that awful fitting. I've never felt that after any shopping experience in my life. I will never give another dime to Davids as a whole, but specifically this location with their extremely lazy and rude staff. I think all the Columbus Locations hire from the same terrible pool of canidates! I made this appointment knowing I was flying up from FL for a short weekend to try on the bridesmaid dresses for my Maid of Honor, 2 bridesmaids and 1 JR BM. We get there and the girl was occupied with other things and just kind of pointed her hand this way and that as to where to find anything. I want to say her name was Katie/Krista something with a K. SHE WAS AWFUL! 1. we were told to just find whatever, so we went in search of the dresses we all decided on via the website, found very few of them and in size 10's. when asked if they have smaller, she goes "uh no." okay...we can clip, thats fine. When asking for additional dresses, or where to find a certain style she goes, "here in the catalog" So I asked, do you have it in the store?" She said "well, I'm sure...I can I guess look for it if you're interested" WHY YES I WANT TO SEE IT! ITS YOUR JOB TO GET THIS FOR ME!!!!!!! I was so frustrated, I couldn't believe this girls lack of work ethic and lack of customer service. 2. She had my girls try on size 10's and when I asked if she would measure them so we could insure the proper sizes (my little sisters are BM's in my wedding and are NOT anywhere close to a 10) and she goes "no, we'll just guess off the size they tried on!" UM...there is something really wrong with "guessing" a size when I'm spending the money to buy a dress! So I asked her to measure...she gave a huff and puff so my mom stepped in and asked if she wanted our business cause we definately could go elsewhere...and she just looked at us, like David's bridal is the only place to buy. My mom went in search of a manager and the Sales girl came over to me, mind you I'm standing in front of a credenza with drawers and she goes.."You could move.......please" I was SO livid at this point I told her to drop her attitude before we litterally walked out. 3. Then the manager, Viviana, she was very nice came over and all of a sudden, Katie/Krista/K-whatever became all nice and "oh I'm just measuring, Oh I love these girls" WHATEVER In the end, they lost our business, we stopped by Alfred Angelo on our way home and didn't even have an appointment and were wisked in for Spectacular service. HOW IT SHOULD BE! David's Bridal needs to learn a thing or two before they loose lots of business. read more

David's Bridal at Easton was TERRIBLE. Not only was the sales woman pushy and didn't listen to anything I said while shopping for my wedding gown, but I left almost in tears. AND THEN - they sold my personal information. DO NOT FILL OUT THEIR CARDS. EVER. I declined several times to fill out their information card, before the woman assured me that it was NECESSARY for them to keep track of the gowns I liked and ASSURED me that my personal information was safe. I checked the box on the card for them not to contact me. THEY STILL SOLD MY INFORMATION. I have been getting phone calls CONSTANTLY. TERRIBLE business. I was super nervous about dress shopping because I am so picky. Ann listened to every single thing I was saying about the first 4 dresses I tried on. What I liked, & what I didn't like. And then she left and came back, and she smiled at me because I think she knew deep down she had picked the perfect dress for me. She was right. Went prom dress shopping for my junior prom with my mom yesterday. We were worried the experience of prom dress shopping would be a difficult one but the Manager Jessica was very helpful. She helped us decide which dress to get because we couldn't make up our mind. She helped us find the right shoes and accessories. We got the perfect dress that didn't need altered or anything and it was just in our price range! All in all, it was a very great experience and I can't wait to show off my dress at prom. OK, before going to Davids I read the bad reviews, it did not sound promising. One day I was over in that part of town and went inside anyway. I was helped immediately, assigned a sales person, everyone was kind and helpful. The clerk who helped me find a dress was fairly new, but did a great job, thank you Grace. I felt that I needed to try on several different styles just to make sure that what I thought wanted was truly the best choice. We went through quite a few dresses, and I found my PERFECT dress that afternoon! Grace ordered it for me and said it would take approx 7 weeks to arrive. Also got a longline bra, petticoat and veil. I came back a couple of weeks later to show my son the dress I had chosen (tried on the one in stock), and had a more experienced clerk helping me. Turns out I should have had a different kind of petticoat. They exchanged on the spot without batting an eye. Then I had a minor issue with the fit of the bodice, one of the alterations seamstresses (I think she is Gina?) came out and showed me how to fix it with minor easy adjustments to the longline bra. Amazing! Soooo very helpful! As I was leaving they realized that MY dress had just come in that afternoon, well ahead of schedule! Finally, yesterday I took the dress back to get the bustle put into place. The alterations seamstress, Sarah, offered a type of bustle that I wasn't aware of, that was perfect for my full ball gown. When completely pinned up it was so beautiful I cried. Again. The back of my dress looks like a beautiful peony in full bloom! Her work is/was beautiful and perfect. I go back in about 4 weeks to pick my dress up again and am extremely pleased. (side note: the alterations area dressing room is nice and big the way all of the dressing rooms should be.) Why only 4 stars? Because the dressing rooms are WAY too small. And there are no three sided mirrors out on the floor to see the dresses from all sides and back. There's lots of mirrors, but not set up for full viewing. That's it, those two things. Davids is not the fanciest place, but I went to one of the "Upper Class" bridal stores in downtown Columbus and it was awful. They acted so snooty and above me, I was appalled. I went in really wanting to spend my money there, and I was willing to PAY for my perfect dress, but they apparently are so well off that they didn't need my business. Davids also has a few dresses that would be perfect for cocktails, you just need to look through the "brides-maidy" stuff to find them. Davids can get a bit crowded, if possible, don't go on a weekend. And keep in mind that they want you to find your perfect dress too! They will work for/with you. Their prices are good, they have a good selection, and they are down to earth and helpful. All in all, I most definitely recommend Davids Bridal on Morse road. And afterwards run over to Easton to celebrate with a good dinner! read more

Found my wedding gown after trying on just 3 dresses. I had an appointment and went right when they opened on a Sunday. So if you aren't into crazy, wedding-obsessed crowds (like me) then go at that time. Deah helped me out. She has been in the business for over 20 years and knew her stuff. I told her my size and what style I was looking for right away. She had me in a dressing room within 5 minutes of arrival to give me some time to fight my way into the corset and slip while she went around the store and collected a few gowns matching the style of dress that I wanted. She was conscientious of my budget (which is laughable if anyone has ever been to Wendy's Bridal in Dublin, they were rude and snotty to me for not wanting to spend more than $1,500...I'd rather take a swim with a school of sharks than ever step foot in there again)... sorry for the tangent. Back to David's Bridal Easton, I read the reviews on here before I went in today and was a little nervous. However, I brought it up with their manager because I was confused as to how I could have such a pleasant experience when yelp contains scathing reviews. THEY HAD A RECENT MANAGEMENT CHANGE. Repeat, they have recently changed management. It seems as though they have plucked the bad apples and are now in the grips of solid leadership. I would refer anyone here, and can't say enough good things about Deah. She did not try to up-sell, and was a straight-shooter. Good luck, and may the odds forever be in your favor ;) read more

I called on a Thursday morning to make an appointment, and found out they had availability that day. When I arrived at my appointment time, about 10 minutes early, I was greeted by an employee. The first thing I noticed is that there were ZERO customers in the store. I was met promptly by my consultant, Maddie. I told her what I was looking for (a modest dress with sleeves) and we began pulling dresses together. Maddie was very attentive to what I wanted in a dress! She helped me put on my undergarments, then got me into my gowns. She was so respectful of my modesty, by making sure to open the door slowly, and knocking first. Once I tried on a gown I liked, she "jacked me up" with a veil and accessories. I truly loved the gown! However, one of the sales associates passing by said, "It isn't going to be perfect. Heidi Klum didn't walk in and find a dress that fit her perfectly. All dresses need to be altered." I don't understand her need to share this comment with me, as I was admiring the dress. I obviously was aware that the gown would need to be altered. It does seem like the are overstaffed during the week. I am sure they are busy on the weekends, or during the week after 4pm. I would recommend going during the week, if possible. I would also truly recommend Maddie. She pulled only what was within my budget, and swiftly helped me out of a gown without questions if I had any doubts about it. In no way did I feel like she tried to talk me into a dress. It felt like I had a friend with me, there to help me pick out a dress I loved. Maddie's great! I will say that the few times I have called back to speak to someone, I have experienced rude customer service. One woman unprofessionally referred to me as "honey" and "sweetie" on the phone, which I felt to be condescending. Another woman cut me off as I was asking a question regarding their return policies. All in all, this was a good experience! Maddie is what made it a positive and enjoyable time for me. I also liked the slowness and quietness of the store during the week. read more

I had a very good experience at David's bridal. We went to universe bridal a few months ago and had a terrible experience. They did not help me or my bridesmaids whatsoever and they were rude. She we tried David's bridal. The experience was soooo much better. The consultant we had was named Ann. She was very nice and organized. She immediately wrote down all of our names and sizes pulled the dresses and made sure we all felt comfortable. She knew what she was talking about and even helped my one of my bridesmaids that hated the dress feel confident and showed her that the dress could for her shape too. She did this in between having another bride as well. They were even very busy and she still tended to our every need. Thank you Ann!!! read more

When I first walked into David's Bridal, I had not made an appointment. I was just there to look around and figured out that it was best to set up a time to try on dresses. I talked to a wonderful associate, Ann, who really put my mind at ease about the whole process. I immediately wanted to make an appointment with her, so I did! When I went back to the store a few days later, the woman at the front acted as if she had no idea what was going on, even after I told her my name and that I had made an appointment with Ann. So, instead of putting me with Ann, they put me with another associate. We were already a little put off because I really wanted to work with Ann, based on her enthusiasm and how easy she was to work with. This other associate did a lot of talking and acted as if she did not know how to measure me, which is something Ann said she would do to start off the process. After mentioning that Ann said she would do this, the associate apologized and said that she would see if Ann was available since this was obviously her sale. Thank goodness I was able to work with Ann! I really did not have an idea of what I wanted, nor did I think I would be buying a dress that day, but because Ann pulled so many different styles and was so encouraging, I was able to find a dress after only a few try-ons! Working with Ann was such a wonderful experience and I know I couldn't have done it without her. I will be going to her for everything else I need at David's. Thank you, Ann! read more

The in-store experience was fine; the woman at the front of the store found our appointment and an associate to assist us quickly. However, since we had an appt I would have assumed that someone would've been assigned to us beforehand and a sheet with all the wedding party info would've been on hand, but it did seem like someone was randomly picked. I filled in the info about the color and style the bride had chosen, and the associate was very helpful in picking a few selections for a very reluctant bridesmaid (yes, I wasn't in the best of moods but I'm southern and didn't let it show--until the bride and her mother were 20 minutes late to our 30 minute appt). The associate wasn't pushy, she was helpful and very knowledgeable about the stock, and she graciously left my mother and I alone to dissect the final decision dress, then quietly seethe while we waited for the bride to show. When the bride came and didn't seem sure about the dress I let her know this was completely her affair and she could go pick other dresses out with the associate and I would try them on--the associate smiled and didn't rush us even though the appointment was almost over. The 2 stars off comes from the utter uncomfortableness of the store's aesthetic and the poor shipping. The front of the store is the stock and the back half are The. Mirrored. Door. Dressing. Rooms & Walls--it's ALL mirrors, Except inside the dressing room! So, before I could see myself in the dress I had to step out in front of everyone trying on dresses and their parties. It wasn't comfortable and the rooms and waiting area for the parties are quite cramped. Finally, though we paid $250 for a gown, shrug and shipping we couldn't get a color swatch to take for free?! It's a difficult color to match to makeup and accessories so it would've helped to have this. Also, there was some confusion over the shipping and my dress went to the store for pick up; when I was called there was some confusion finding the order and the address because they kept asking my name yet everything was labeled by the bride's name. When my dress finally came it was on a hanger, with plastic over it, thrown into a shipping BAG and thus in a ball--wrinkled! That was better than my shrug which didn't even get a hanger but was crumpled tightly into a ball in the shipping bag. Ultimately, I feel the business needs to acknowledge the actual buyers more; very few brides pay for their attendants nowadays, and it would've been nice if the services provided matched the payment and reluctance most buyers are (secretly) feeling in this situation--pack a $250 gown accordingly, don't make customers paying hundreds of dollars also pay shipping costs--especially if it's an $8 UPS bag, and provide a complementary color swatch. read more

I was very disappointed with my first experience I had at David's Bridal. The store manager was rude. I came in to pick up two dress that were paid for already and to find a strapless bra to wear under my maid of honor dress. The stylist got my zipper jammed. I believe after the 4th bra fitting my stylist was getting tried and did not take the time to properly zip up my dress. She didn't directly tell me what the issue was but stated she had to grab someone from alteration to help out. While waiting 5 mins I took a picture of my backside to see what the issue was. I could noticeably see my zipper was jammed and I seen the gap between the zips A lady approach me that I thought was a floor stylist. She asked what she could help me with. I was very confused. "I stated I'm waiting on my stylist to come back with help because she jammed my zipper". The lady stated we can help you get out the dress but we cannot fix the zipper and she walked away. My stylist came back with no help from alterations, as she mentioned she was going to get someone. I asked her if she could get the manager. The same lady that approached me with that rude remark, came back addressing herself as Manager Sarah. I asked to speak to someone higher than her but she was the only manager in the store. I stated I've tried this dress on 3 times with no issue and my stylist has zipped me up and I'm not sure what she did wrong the 4th time but she broke my zipper. I asked if they can fix my zipper and do it as soon as possible because I'm a maid of honor in a destination wedding in Hawaii and we leave close to two week. Sarah, advised she spoke with district manager and since my dress was not purchased from their store they could cut the zipper or help me pull it over my head out the dress but mentioned they will not fix my zipper. I went back into my fitting room and text the Bride and telling her I'm in the fitting room crying, my zipper on my dress is broken and it's the stylist fault and they won't fix It. I sat in the dressing for 13 minutes after I sent a text to the bride. Thanks to the bride contacting the store, the manager came back offering again to pull the dress off me. After approx. 7 minutes we managed to pull my fitted dress over my head. The manager offered a non-matching zipper and to get it done by next Friday. I feel like since it was their stylist mistake they should have made sure the zipper matched and offered a sooner date to fix their mistake. The Bride or I is still waiting to discuss this issue with the distance manager as they took down her information. I was hurt to be treated that way and embarrassed I had to leave my fitting room with red eye from crying. On top of that I'm a maid of honor and waiting over a week and half for a store mistake is unacceptable, that's delaying my dress fitting I have with bridesmaids and delaying my packing for my attendance to Hawaii. read more

I had an excellent experience with David's Bridal on Morse Road. Ginny was my bridal consultant, and she did such a lovely job of listening to what my vision was. I was impressed with her professionalism, knowledge and kindness to myself and guests. This store also had a large selection of sizes 2 and 4, so I was able to try on many dresses in my size (other bridal stores I visited had a very small selection in those sizes). Kelly helped us checkout after I found the perfect dress, veil and headband. She was so sweet and professional as well! I can't wait to return for bridesmaid dresses! :-) read more

I came on Sunday so it was way too crowded, but I also would recommend they get a second bathroom - not have trash bags laying all over near the bathroom, and have somewhere for the guests to sit. I just purchased my wedding dress this past Friday from David's Bridal, although many of the reviews I had seen online about them were quite negative. I went in without an appointment with my Maid of Honor after seeing a few of the dresses I'd been looking at online had gone on sale. We walked in, and at first I was a little nervous. The first two women I encountered were not very warm and welcoming, and throughout my visit, one particular associate continously stared at me and made me feel uncomfortable. It was almost as if it was a "I can't believe she is trying on wedding dresses" kind of vibe I was getting. Maybe it's just me, but first impressions are everything, and brides are already stressed enough without having to deal with a negative attitude. They asked me to sign in and look around while they tried to find someone to help me. Overwhelmed, my Maid of Honor and I browse through the seemingly endless rows on dresses until an associate came and assisted us. Kat was wonderful. I went in with screenshots of what I had been admiring, and she knew exactly what I wanted, helped me in and out of the dresses, long bra and slip. She was encouraging and didn't make me feel forced to purchase something I didn't want. For now, my review is a 3/5, simply because the first couple of women made me feel like I didn't have a right to be at the store looking, trying and buying my wedding dress. I'm hoping that when I return to look at bridesmaids and Mother of the Bride dresses, and finish getting my accessories, that my review won't lose stars. read more

Tiauna was a wonderful consultant to work with! She was so kind, and patient. She really took the time with me to try on a large selection of dresses and help make the fit look right. On the selection of my favorite dresses she helped find the perfect accessories and shoes to have a more final look. This was a really great experience especially after having a not good one at the Sawmill Rd. store, where I had an appointment but felt like the lady was rushing me. At the Sawmill store the consultant didn't even get a full length bra and slip to try on, which is recommended to get a better idea of how the dress should look. read more

I came here looking for a bridesmaid dress, and was completely underwhelmed. The store itself is rundown and depressing, the carpet is dirty, and the fitting rooms are straight out of Designer Fashion Warehouse. Even worse was the service. It was a week night, and there was only one other person shopping in the store, but the employees were chatting in groups, on their cell phones and completely unhelpful. I picked a dress myself, and although the fabrics are cheap and the dresses aren't especially well made especially for price point, they have the advantage of having a ton of colors and sizes, and I was desperate. Once I was able to finally get someone's attention to ask about shipping (they don't have inventory in the store so everything except the sample dresses have to be ordered), she said the color I wanted wasn't available to ship in time for the wedding four weeks away. I checked online, and not only was that color available in my size, it also gave me the option to return the dress if needed. As an FYI to other ladies shopping here, the store is final sale only, but online purchases have a two week return policy and free shipping. I ordered online, got free shipping, and received the dress within 10 days. Unfortunately, the size was way bigger than the same size sample I'd tried in the store and I'm returning the dress. The return process itself is unnecessarily complicated- you have to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) by going to their website, clicking on Returns and Exchanges at the very bottom, then entering in your order number and email address. This takes you to another page where you enter your reason for the return and submit your request. After you submit the RMA, you wait for the email they send you with the return instructions and shipping address. You have to request the RMA within 14 days of the shipping date (not delivery date) of your item, and once its requested, the item has to be delivered to David's Bridal within 14 days of "issuance". The RMA number has to be clearly written on the return box or it will not be accepted and will be returned to you (after which presumably you won't be able to ship it back againif its be outside the 14 days). You must ship the box with tracking because if they lose it, you're out of luck. If the dress is inspected and the return accepted, you'll get your refund within two credit card billing cycles. As someone who buys a fair amount of clothing from a lot of places, this has been the worst overall experience with a vendor, at both the local store and corporate level. Lazy staff, low quality fabrics, and a return process that makes the hunger games seem enjoyable means that not only will I never shop here again, but I will actively deter anyone I know from spending their money there. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. It is not worth saving some money on your dress to deal with the stress of this place. The store is dirty, the bathrooms are gross. They double booked my appointment, so we didn't really have much help. When I finally got her attention I told her I wanted a sparkly belt to see how it looked. I had to ask 4 times before she finally brought me one. So then I had to ask two more times if I could just see them all.... Found my dress, it was way too long and would need taken in, so we ordered it, and made an alterations appt. It came in about two weeks later, which was awesome. I wasn't able to pick up the dress within 7 days, and when I called, I was told that after 7 days, they were not "liable" for the dress. (Still not sure what that means). Got home, tried the dress on, and only half of the bottom part was gathered. I called and was told that alterations would fix it. I explained I was not going to pay for alterations to fix a dress that came ruined, and the woman got very snippy with me. So I took it in to the store, they ordered me a new one. Picked it up, got home and it was so tight I could barely zip it, and it was about 4 inches too short. The sparkly heels I had bought looked ridiculous because it was so short. I called and was told that "since the dresses are mass produced and factory made, they will not all fit the same..." I . Was.livid. it clearly was a petite size but they wouldn't do anything about it. I ended up taking it to a local alterations place where I had to spend WAY too much to have the dress let out and lengthened. Took it to David's for a free comp steam/press and was told it takes a week, even though on the phone they told me it would take a day or two. Oh, and for the entire time I've been working with them, they have my wedding date as October 24. I'm getting married Sept 21. 5 diff people have told me they would change it, never happened. read more

This location absolutely stinks!, today was supposed to be one of the best days for me to experience buying my wedding dress along with bridesmaid dresses , instead i had a consultant who was completely rude, rolling her eyes constantly, made sighs everytime i asked her any question regarding a bridesmaid dress and didnt make my appointment anywhere near how it should have so instead i took my business to the st. Clairsville location where have never failed me, they are friendly, professional and make me feel beautiful, calm and make my appointment feel special. read more

Unlike a lot of the other reviewers, I had a wonderful experience here! I was very indecisive when finding the dress, but everyone was very kind and accommodating. I tried on probably 7 dresses and when I found the one that I really liked, they didn't force me to commit and even encouraged me to order a sash that it loved and come back to try it on again (they didn't have any sashes that I liked). I liked that the dresses weren't overly expensive so I could actually focus on the dresses rather than the price tag. Other high end salons tried to make me feel as if my only option was spending close to $1500 for something nice. David's bridal didn't make me feel any pressure at all and I loved it. read more

I went to David's bridal on a Sunday afternoon (I didn't have an appointment) and wow were they busy! so I ended up scheduling an appointment for the following day (a Monday). When I went in for my appointment Lianna was there to greet me. The store was not as busy and she spent 3+ hours with my mom and I. I tried on so many dresses until I found the perfect one for my wedding day! My dress was around $850 (which is pretty cheap considering the other places I went to). I couldn't be happier with the customer service I received here! Even the store manager came over to check on us and give her input to make sure the process was as easy as possible! I scheduled my appointment to look for my wedding dress a week in advance. I was nervous being a plus size woman to find the dress for my wonderful day. I brought styles that I watned to try on and Ginny found them for me. Ginny was amazing and very helpful. I am very thankful she was assigned to work with me. I didn't want to wear Ivory but she encouraged me to try it on and that was the one I chose!! It was perfect and I absolutely can't wait to wear it on my wedding day. 1st time bride and 1st appointment to shop for a dress~ I was highly impressed! I was serviced by Erin, she was AWESOME--very polite and patient. She knew the products well and was able to pull dresses within my "want list" and my budget. I could not have asked for a better experience. Everyone, including other customers were all very friendly~ the store was clean~ there was multiple accessories to use, a HUGE selection of both wedding and bridesmaid dresses.
