I tried on many , some with belts and others with a veil which I hadn't even considered. I narrowed it down between two! Although I didn't say yes to the dress I think I'll go back to try another of my faves at a different location hoping they have my size! Prices weren't too bad, the prices for the alterations were pretty pricey! The expert was nice but it didn't make sense for me to buy a dress and the trim and add bushel was just as much as the dress.. Overall I appreciated the experience! I came in on very short notice, needing a dress the SAME DAY. They had a lot of options but the one I really wanted was on a mannequin. The manager had no problem taking it off so that I could try it on. Sadly it turned out to be a size to big. The manager called around for me to see if there were any others at a different location but it turned out that they had stopped making that dress in a smaller size so she went to the back and asked her alterations team if they could possibly help me last minute and they were very happy to help! They fixed my dress perfectly and I was in LOVE. They were all so kind. They even helped my find the perfect shoes. In the end I ended up paying half the cost of everything thanks to all of there deals! I thought I would be be spending at least 1,000 and ended up paying under 400! That's with the dress, alterations, shoes and a garter! And all within time frame for my impromptu wedding. I definitely recommend this business and team. They were incredible. read more

On October 18th, my sister and I came from California to assist her daughter and two granddaughters. My niece is getting married, with her daughters serving as bridesmaids. This was our first outing looking for dresses and it was like herding cats. We all had different ideas, or no idea (of course). We went to your store in Peoria for our appointment and were met by a lovely young woman, I think her name was Mallory. She listened completely, and very patiently, and began showing the bride different options. The bride is an older bride and self conscious about different issue. Mallory worked miracles and found many "fixes". She then assisted the two daughters of the bride, who also had many issues. Mallory's kindness, patience, and overall happy, smiling, gentle approach made the whole experience really positive. We took a break and had lunch and decided that they were all overwhelmed and would go home and take a few days. My sister and I came back to California, but I believe her daughter and granddaughters will go back to your store and pick the final dresses. I want to thank Mallory VERY much. Let's start out by saying I had an appt for Saturday 10/4. I canceled it after my short visit on 9/30 just to see what the store offered. As I entered the store, I noticed a gal at the counter on the phone with a customer They were chitchatting laughing, and obviously she was on the phone to help the lady with something thru customer service is what I got out of it I was a a little shocked when I walked in and got no greeting. Like, I'm on the phone. I'm helping this customer. I'll be right with you. Were shorthanded. Something she could have said something. Instead, I was completely ignored. All of use in the store got nothing. So I walked around the store and I noticed there was probably five or six other people in there looking at dresses looking at the kids dresses. I saw a few over in the bridesmaid dress area and Nobody was helping them either. So about 15 minutes into the store, I noticed the gal coming through the front door with two coffee drinks all dressed in black and she headed straight to the back of the store no eye contact no nothing as I stood there, looking at the dresses towards the back. So I kind of waited for her to come back out again no eye contact with any of us. She went right to the little podium by the front door got on the computer totally ignored the customers. So I finally asked another customer that was looking I said have you been helped by anybody she replied no we've been in here. 45 minutes and nobody's helped us. And they were just taking bridesmaids dresses off the rack and going and trying them on. So then I noticed that the gal that was at the front counter is now over at the Little podium by the front door area. They were talking and laughing. Neither one of them helped any of us. So as I was walking out neither one of them said a dam word as I walked by. I turned and I said hi I have an appointment on Saturday to try on dresses. How long do we get? The lady replied oh you only get an hour with our stylist and I replied back. How can you pick out a dress out in an hour? That's all we give you. So I said, thank you and walked out the door. Went out to my truck and canceled my Saturday appointment if people can't acknowledge you in the store and say we'll be right with you. We're shorthanded. I'm on the phone will get to you as soon as we can. Absolutely no customer service skills at all. And then they stand at the little desk by the front door and laugh and chitchat when you have a half a dozen people in the store that need help. Get some better people working there that have customer service skills I'm sure by canceling my appointment on Saturday. The store won't close down without me buying dresses. Excited my grandson is soon to be married. I loathe looking for a dress. Purchased dress on July 30th, my grandsons helped me pick it out. Problem: The representative asked me if I wanted to take the dress off the rack, absolutely not. If I wanted a used dress I would of went to goodwill. I want a new dress what i'm paying for. It was on sale and NOT FROM CLEARANCE RACK. She ordered my dress, and it would be in at the end of August. David's Bridal called me couple of days later, saying, my dress was ready. So I went today 4th of Aug to pick up the dress. It wasn't a new dress and I asked the manager was it a new dress because it came quickly. She started to give excuses for what they did blaming me because it was not available anymore. I was very angry about that because they said they ordered the dress. The people who represent David's Bridal are liars and cheaters. I do not like doing business with them because of what they did to me. They gave me a dress off the rack. I went in for a dress consultation yesterday, May 20, 2025. I did not make an appointment. I just walked in and I got to meet Audrey and Tabatha. Let me just say these girls deserve a raise. They made my whole experience a dream come true they went above and beyond expectations. They were lighthearted and patient. They were helpful and they made the whole experience fun. They didn't miss a beat. Nothing was a concern for them. They were willing to help. They had great suggestions. You can really tell these girls love their job. I plan on going back to get my veil and I really hope these two are working. I will try to go the same day because that's how much I enjoyed the experience with them being there. After reviewing the yelp reviews from the last several months, I didn't expect to have a bad experience at this store. To my surprise, this is the sign that I came across when trying to enter the store. I was assuming that they had closed the store for appointments only. No. They claimed that they called everyone that had appointments for today and either spoke with them or left them voicemails advising them that the store was closed however that was not the case because while standing outside of store waiting for additional people in my three other appointments had came and we're not aware that the store was closed. Obviously everyone is very upset as wedding shopping is very crucial to weddings, bridesmaids brides, bridal parties, etc. parties, etc.. do better David's bridal. It's a shame that you just lost several customers due to Marissa and her attitude and apparently she is a store manager with that kind of attitude I would be fired from my job. read more

HEED MY WARNING BRIDES-TO-BE: Under absolutely NO circumstances should you have your wedding dress altered at this location (Glendale, AZ) even if they offer you a discount!!! You may very well end up paying more money for alterations than you did for the dress! I was absolutely outraged by how the seamstress, Miryam, treated my best friend who is getting married in January. First of all, she completely dismissed the bride's request for specific alterations to her wedding dress and pushed her into additional alterations that she did not want. She bullied my friend into adding straps to her wedding dress when she DID NOT WANT THEM and expressed multiple times to Miryam that she did not want straps. Instead of listening to her, Miryam kept going on about how her boobs would fall out of her dress while she was dancing if she did not add straps. My friend has zero plans to get wild at her wedding and she doesn't even know if she's going to dance at all since it's not really her thing. But Miryam was so incredibly pushy about it that my friend relented and let her put straps on the dress. She paid $55 for STRAPS THAT SHE DID NOT WANT. Miryam also dismissed my friend's request for specific alterations, namely to let out the dress at the hips out so she could sit in the dress. It was clear at the second fitting that this was not done, as she still could not sit in the dress. But Miryam actually tried to ARGUE with her that it was LOOSE and she could move and sit just fine. I'm not even exaggerating when I say that my friend literally had to pull up a chair and show her that she could not sit wearing the dress. She had to go back for a third fitting just for this simple request to be fulfilled when it should have been done the first time. My friend was NOT informed about the cost of any of the alterations and was stuck with a $600+ bill that cost her more than the dress itself. She was also told that since she purchased the dress from David's Bridal, she would get a 10% discount on alterations done through the store. But it was a whole ORDEAL for her to have the store apply this discount and she didn't realize that it could only be used on specific alterations. She only ended up getting approximately $30 off the entire bill. At Miryam's insistence, my friend also paid to have the dress steamed, bustled, and bagged. When she received the dress after her third fitting, it may have been steamed, but it was clearly not bustled and it was tossed carelessly in a ripped bag that was also TRANSPARENT. It was NOT the same bag that the dress had come in, which was opaque and much better quality, and would have crucially prevented her fiancé from being able to see the dress before the wedding while it sits in their SHARED closet awaiting their wedding day. My friend felt more frustrated and disheartened after every fitting when she should have been elated and excited to try on the wedding dress of her dreams. She is an incredibly kind and considerate person who is the very OPPOSITE of a bridezilla, which is why I am writing this review for her. It is my sincere hope that other brides-to-be may learn from her terrible experience and avoid making such a drastic and costly mistake. read more

If I could do it all over, I would not have bought my dress from this place. The dress I tried on in store fit me like a glove and they ordered me the incorrect size (I think on purpose). When I went back to exchange the dress for a different size the employees looked at me like my head was hanging off my shoulders. That really annoyed me but I brushed it off. My alternations were not to my liking. Which I do think this location has several issues with their alternations department. While I was there, two gals were complaining about the fitting on their dresses. Last thing, each time I had called this location, I felt like the person on the other didn't even work here by the way they were answering my questions. It was very confusing. The quality is just not there in the way the dresses are made and for the cost of the pricey shoddy alterations. Such a disappointment imagine being in a wedding party and part of the PRICEY $200 you paid in alterations comes undone before you walk down the aisle! Thank God a friend had double sided tape to temporarily hold strap up! That straps alteration was crucial to the front of her dress supporting her cleavage and the front drape falling properly. Then you're walking down the aisle and the crap attached strap that has a hook and 2 snaps front and back comes undone in the front! My poor daughter literally cried walking down the aisle of her best friend's wedding. After the ceremony I had to seek someone out for safety pins at the venue to now hold together both sides of the dress. Livid doesn't describe how I felt! Avoid this place like the plague! And when I complained they only gave me a partial refund for the alterations (if that's what you want to call them) knowing all that she went through! Nothing for the crap dress strap that also fell apart on the other side. And when I contacted corporate absolutely no one got back to me via social media and you can't even find a phone number to speak to someone. My youngest is getting married next year and she said no way am I using David's Bridal. Absolute nightmare! read more

I was able to find a dress 3 weeks out from my wedding and the alterations team is wonderful, Wilhelmina and Miryam helped me get alterations done in less than a week, and then I found out last minute I needed to change my sleeves and they got me in same day so we could discuss the alteration and only extended the pick up by 3 days! They did such a lovely job working with the delicate lace in my dress and helping me replace an open back with it! Davids Bridal saved our wedding day! My fiance visited this store after having a nightmare unfold with her previously purchased wedding gown at an alternate alterations shop. Our wedding is coming up in two weeks and her current dress alterations were not going well nor on schedule so she had to very quickly find a plan B dress. She came home frustrated and right away called David's Bridal. Let me begin by saying the manager got on the phone to solver her odd last minute request and was very sentimental to her situation and booked her a one on one appointment for not even an hour later! They waisted no time to get her in right away! They got her into the store fast; she called at 7pm and they said to come in by 8pm. The store closed at 9pm. In one hour they found a dresses! They were the quick solution that my fiance needed. The young woman who helped was named Meg. She was very insightful about the styles of dresses my fiance was looking for and very quick to take things off the rack to try on. My fiance was not sure what size dress she wore but Meg hit it on the nose, every dress she pulled for her fit. As a matter of fact, the very FIRST dress that my fiance tried on was the one that she went home with. It was almost made for her personality and it fit like a glove. Even though all of the helpful girls in the store knew that the first dress was unbeatable, they did not pressure her decision like some shops do. They supported her and kept bringing in other gowns to try in so that my fiance could be sure. They also hyped her up in the dress and gave her continuous compliments which gave her the confidence she needed to be happy in this situation. In ONE HOUR Meg and Kaitlyn helped my fiance find her dress AND the belt and headpiece that went best with it. One hour, it blew both of our minds that her entire wedding wardrobe was finished AND stunning. David's bridal has been very helpful through the entire process. Their alterations department got her in within a few days and theybhave a quick turn around. Even though the dress fit perfectly, the bustle still needed a button or two so that the train can be raised for dancing. Again our wedding is in two weeks time so we were under the impression that the charge for one button might be double for a "rush" fee. Well the lady helping her waived the fee and was very understanding that almost no work needed to be done to the dress. They did not rip us off like other companies would have, instead they understand the project. The seamstress was also very respectful to our mothers as they were there to witness the dress try on. The seamstress verified that she went to school for this, was certified and had 15 years experience. She knew what she was doing. Additionally I would like to add that a few days later my fiance realized that the belt she purchased was not in the bag with the headpiece. Neither party knows what happened to it but desspite her panic, David's Bridal came up with yet another quick solution. They told her to come pick up another replica of the belt at no charge. We are so grateful. David's Bridal has mad my fiance so happy and now she can breath and be excited for our wedding. David's Bridal made it easy for her experience, were very helpful and knowledgeable as well as ACCOMIDATING. It is convenient that both the Bridal shop and alterations are in the same location. Also the price for her dress was more then reasonable, $500 after tax. Over all, she likes this 500 dollar, no work, plan B dress better then the $2,000 dollar first dress that is being ripped to shreds at another alteration store. read more

If I could give a zero review I would. Worst customer service. Alterations department is horrible and charge WAY TOO MUCH for sub par work. AND IT WAS DIRTY. If you're doing fittings for alterations, make sure your floor is vacuumed. And I wouldn't have even had to get my dress altered if i was not persuaded to buy a bigger size. Even reached out to their customer care team and manager after I came home in tears picking my dress up and got a call a week and a half after my wedding (because I reached out to customer care. Ignoring that I called 5-6 times the days before) offering to clean it up and preserve it. THAT DOES ME NO GOOD IF MY WEDDING IS PASSED. I was even blamed for it being my fault for waiting too long or buying off the rack (I ordered from the warehouse because I am plus size). But every time I called in to talk to the manager she was magically out of office. If you want a fairy tale fitting like in say yes to the dress. Don't go to this location. read more

Let's talk about a company who doesn't know how to properly provide customer service. Writing on behalf of my sister because she doesn't have a Yelp but she went to the Arrowhead location on 9.23.2020 and found a pair of shoes she wanted to purchase, the Arrowhead location didn't have her size and Avondale had them. My sister offered to drive and Shantel W. INSISTED on ordering her the correct size to the store saying it was easier (ploy for commission clearly.) She was called on 9.29.2020 at 1PM saying her shoes had arrived and she had no later than October 6 to pick them up. She picked them up on October 1 only to realize they didn't fit so she went to return them and they wouldn't accept the return because on the receipt it states you have "7 days from purchase date to return the item" so before she even had them in her possession they couldn't be returned. Shantel also incorrectly told her she had 7 days from when the store received them to return... Aka the "you have until October 6 to pick up" She has called multiple times and no manager/assistant manager has returned her call. And was just told "I'm so sorry but there is nothing we can do but exchange." by corporate. S/O to David's bridal for ruining a fun wedding week for my sister. Also fix your return policy, it's embarrassing and proves how cheap your company is. read more

Terrible, impersonal experience. Appointment was very rushed. They do not let you know that your appointment is ONE hour long. We were told to pull only 4 dresses (we had about 5 min to do so) and the consultant would pull a 5th. My Neice wanted to try more and we were told we had "time for one more" about 40 minutes in to our appointment. It was a Friday and they were not busy. The bride was not asked about wedding location, budget, or style. The sample dresses were frayed, dirty and just poor quality. When the appointment time was "over", we were shuffled out. Just had a wonderful experience here last week. I walked in with no appointment to browse on my own but they squeezed me in for a scheduled try on. Kennedy was my stylist and was so kind and helpful. As a plus size bride I was nervous about getting squeezed into dresses that didn't fit or not feeling my best. I tried on a few dresses I had my eye on but didn't love how they looked on me. So she found me several others to try as well that suited my figure well. She helped me find my dream dress and made sure I felt incredible in it. This review is for ALL David's Bridals, not this one in particular. I purchased my dress at a store in Indianapolis and have done 2 fittings at two different stores in Arizona. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CHANGE YOUR APPOINTMENT! For the first fitting I called to change my appointment, spoke to alterations, received an email confirmation of the change. When I showed up to the store in Scottsdale the tailor acted huffy because "my appointment was 2 days earlier and I didn't show." I proceeded to show her my email confirmation and she fit me in, but she wasn't pleasant at all. My second fitting at the Glendale location went fine but I had to change my pick up date due to my work schedule. I made the change to my appointment on 9/12 via the website (moved from 10/15 to 10/8). Again, I received a confirmation email and the week of the appointment I even got a text message. Showed up to the store at that time and my dress isn't ready...they have no record of my appointment change. The ladies in alterations made me a new appointment for late on the 15th and I appreciate them working with me to set a time after my work day (and being calm and kind!). Obviously this is upsetting since this has happened more than once AND according to the alterations department has happened to others.
