Yikes - even looking at reviews from MONTHS ago regarding overbooking and not being efficient...doesn't look like much has been changed in this location. Luckily, it wasn't for my wedding but I know I will NOT be coming here for that. Pretty frustrating experiences and I've only been here three times. One to find the dress, have it altered and now to pick up the dress. The seamstresses in the back should not be responsible for booking their alteration appointments as they have now twice overbooked at my appointment time. They are really nice and can't say no, as they want to please their customer. However, if they have appointments made for a reason, they need to be strict about them and not allow walk-ins or random drop-ins to be respectful of those time who made an appointment. Will not be using them in future and would rather go to a local alterations place. read more

I went to this location twice. The first time I bought a dress and a veil. The second time I went with my bridesmaids and I found a dress that was even MORE perfect! So I purchased it. I went home to to get my veil to return it with my original dress. At first one of the employees tried to tell me I can only get store credit then I told them their policy says I could get a full refund if returned within 7 days (they're really lying to their customers???!). The employee that completed my refund was Taryn Z. She was rude to me as soon as I told her I was there for a return THEN she was trying to guilt me stating (why didn't you return this when you came in the second time?? Why didn't you use the same stylist!? Now she's out of a thousand dollar commission!" So I not only had her return my first dress but also my second dress and I will not be going there when my 10 bridesmaids get theirs! So thanks Taryn Z. Tam made me feel like no matter what, she would make sure I loved my dress and how I looked on my special day. I purchased my dress and upon trying it on at home I rushed back to the store in tears thinking I had made a huge mistake by picking a dress with a plunging neckline. Kristen was so quick to reassure and comfort me once I arrived. This is when she introduced me to Tam. Tam then altered the dress while it was on my body to show me what she could do to make sure I felt comfortable and in this moment I fell in love with my dress. Tam worked diligently to make my dress one of a kind, she even sewed small pieces of fabric (by hand) to the inside of the straps to make sure the jewels would not irritate my skin. Not only did I feel beautiful on my wedding day but throughout the whole process I knew I was in the best possible hands. I cannot thank Tam or Kristen enough. read more

Store: David's Bridal is as you would expect from a generic dress factory. They have lots of dresses to choose from. Some are quite cute, but IMO, not well made enough for the prices. If you can get one on clearance discount, might be worth it. The shop has a Sears department store dressing room feel. It's crowded and busy. Service: average. Right now they have a 2 guest (3 including the bride) for a bridal appointment. I planned to bring my mom & sister. Last minute, my sister asked me if she could bring her (under 10) daughter to see the dresses. I didn't think they would allow it but I called to ask anyway. I basically said, "I know you have a 2 person policy but.." proceeded to about the child. The lady on the phone's response was. "That would be 3 people." "I'll take that as a 'no'? Thank you!" and hung up. I just felt that was not a very professional answer from the lady. She could have said something more along the lines of "I'm sorry, we can't make exceptions." And it would have left less of a bad taste. So I went in there already doubtful I would purchase a dress from them. Once I got there everyone was nice and helpful, but it's definitely not an intimate experience. You could only try on 5 dresses and can not touch anything in the store. The "health precautions" were just over the top IMO. Anyway. Not horrible. Not great. I'd consider it a last resort option if you're on a budget. read more

She listened and brought ideas to help us with our decision on what dresses looked good together. She was knowledgeable on the fabric types and styles of dresses. I had the best time getting my bridesmaid's dress altered here. Tam is wonderful and such a kind person, she talked to me the whole time and even though she was working with me and one other woman, I never felt like I was being abandoned or left standing idly. I called on a Sunday (Father's Day) and they said they could see me that afternoon (YES!). I was taken to the alterations department and had brought the shoes and other accessories I would wear on the day of the wedding. Tam went straight to work and was a professional about it all. After that was done, we talked about how much it would be and when I could come pick up the dress. I needed to have it done before July 1st so it was a rush. They were all so nice. I paid and left knowing my dress was in the best hands. Fast forward to today, I had originally set up my pick up time for 4:30 but called and asked if I could move it to 2:30. They said yes. Can you say flexible? Yes, yes you can. I went in, tried on my dress and it fit perfectly. The hem was EXACTLY where I wanted it and felt like a dream to walk with. Tam did an extraordinary job and if I ever have anything I need altered again I will go to Tam and this David's Bridal. Thank you so much for doing such a great job and having great customer service! I had a wonderful experience at David's Bridal. From the girls that helped me try on the one and only dress I wanted, to the amazing ladies who altered it for me, this was a fun and easy experience! I loved Tam in the alterations department because she made sure every part of my 100 yards of tulle and lots of beading was taken care of and done right. A whole team of women helped get my dress out to the car and made me feel so special while I was there. I would recommend making an appointment and giving yourself plenty of time for both picking your dress and get your alterations done. Thank you to the team at David's Bridal! With Yelping as long as I have, I don't think I have ever been so disappointed in a company. So to update you future brides/bridesmaids this is what has happened since my last review. Please keep in mind I have reached out to Kim (Manager who posted a message to my original review below) 3 times to ask a few questions and try to get some answers. Every time I call no one can help me and they say they will leave a message for her to call me back. She has not gotten back to me. After purchasing my bridesmaids dress through the store, the other bridesmaids decided to wait. Come to find out they were able to order the same exact dress online, it was cheaper, they were given the option to ship the dress straight to their home and have already received their dresses! It took 5 business days to get to them! Keep in mind we all ordered standard sizes, because that is all Davids Bridal allows you to order, each size is in stock and they are all the same dress/color. I paid more for my dress, I have to drive an hour to the store to pick it up and it will not be here for 6 weeks!!!! Please tell me how this makes sense or why anyone would want to shop at this store? Ladies.... do not waste your time! If you happen to come here and find a dress you like, snap a picture of the tag and order it online! Easier, cheaper faster and no bad customer service experience! Here is the BIG kicker!!! Not impressed. Not helpful. Not knowledgeable. Not efficient. Not excited. Calling to make the appointment was quick and easy so I was hopeful. The nice girl on the phone told me I could go online, set up an account, and add dresses to my favorites to try on in the store. When I get to the store, the story changes. I proudly tell her that I followed directions and added the dresses I liked to my favorites. She responds with "Did you bring the print out?" Um, no . . . what is the point of saving them online if I have to bring in the print out? She then told me she had no way to access my favorites and I had to give my ID and password to my MOH so she could use their computer, log into my account, and print out the dresses I had saved. The girl helping me was also helping multiple brides and only bringing me one dress at a time to try on. Needless to say, I was having to wait 5-10 minutes before getting a new dress to try on, which is very frustrating in a crazy busy store with a bunch of strangers staring at you in a dress you don't like. My other option, to go stand in the dressing room by myself and leave my crew out there on their own. After about five dresses that I didn't like, I kept comparing them to a dress at another store that I didn't LOVE (read - NOT THE DRESS), but was so far the best one I had tried on, she proceeds to tell me that she can continue to bring me dresses, but it doesn't sound like I am going to like any of them anyway. Thank God I'm not the bride. As it was, if the sales clerk had not walked away to never return again, I would have ended up arrested for assault - that's right, I would have beat her up with organza and taffeta and big ass bows. I'm the Maid of Honor in a wedding taking place out of state, with the bridesmaids all over the country. So a chain makes sense, everyone can go in, try stuff on and we are all happy, right? Well, apparently David's Bridal only keeps a dress in stock for a few weeks at a time, as every dress we liked was discontinued as soon as we reached a consensus. Finally, we had the dress picked out, and I went in to try it on. I'm generously endowed up top, and not all dresses are cut for girls with boobs (that's right, I'm willing to admit it.) So anyhow, I should have been an easy sale, I walked in with the model number of the dress, and just needed to try 1-2 sizes on. The girl told me that it was my fault they couldn't find it in better sizes or colors, because "I chose to shop on the clearance rack." Excuse me? As I was standing there in shock, still awed by the gargantuan bitch-tasticness of this little twaddlebag, she handed me a size 20. A SIZE 20. Guys, I don't expect you to understand that, but ladies, I'm a 12-14 - so maybe not empty envelope thin, but still - that was just downright rude. Either the murderous look in my eyes kicked in her fight or flight instinct, or she's even ruder than I thought, as she said "I'm helping OTHER customers" and walked away. I found the dress in the wrong color but right size, tried it on, no help, took my own photo in the mirror (bride wanted to see it) and left the store. I bought the dress online, with a coupon code I found. No commission for the little clerks, and I by the time I shared the coupon code with all the other bridesmades, it was pretty much like getting a whole dress for free. So I'm getting married in less than 2 weeks and decided several days ago that I didn't like my dress and it didn't fit quite right. Even though I signed the big "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" line on my receipt, I decided to call and see what could be done - be it alterations or a new dress. I walked in with my dress and was told I could walk around and pick out some other ones to try on. I did. Being picky, I was not finding anything I was looking for. Two other women (managers?) joined my consultant and racked their brains for the perfect dress for me. After several misses, they found me "the one"!! Form fitting, mermaid style, a size 4, in stock and never been worn....what more could a girl want?!?!?! Oh wait, a girl could want it to be less expensive than the one that was being returned! Guess what? It was $150 LESS! Could the stars be more aligned right now? David's Bridal doesn't give cash back, so I had a $150 credit to spend in store. This past weekend my sister, future sister-in-law, and future mother-in-law flew into town just to come with me to look for a wedding dress. Our first appointment was a David's Bridal and I was excited to have everyone there with me and I have only been to this store in the past to get a bridesmaid gown. Well needless to say our time spent there was awful... First, the place is really gross. The carpet is so dirty. There is one spot on the bridal stage that looks like someone spilled something and dirt has just been tracked all over it instead of it being cleaned. The dresses you try on are really dirty too. Which I understand because hundreds of ladies are trying on these dresses week to week but it was really hard to get excited when there were stains all over these beautiful dresses! Then, our customer service was TERRIBLE. Her name was Deborah and to start, she reeked of cigarette smoke. The last thing I want is to be in this tiny room trying to try on dresses and smell that... And she was really rude in the process. I had 6 women with me who were being very polite and helpful and she was huffing and puffing, rolling her eyes, and was even talking crap about us to another employee there. She in no way seemed like she was happy to help us at all. Thankfully her assistant was nice and made the experience worth staying for. In the end I did NOT find my dress at David's Bridal and I'm glad I didn't. My girls will be getting their dresses from there but only because of the color. I got my dress in Gilbert at Suzanne's Bridal Boutique and they are AMAZING over there. I would highly recommend them to anyone! **UPDATE** (4/18/2014) Just so all of the yelp users know... I was HORRIBLE harassed by someone through yelp messages about my bad review on David's Bridal. They claimed to have been another bride looking for dresses on the same day as me. They said my family was awful, ruined her experience, that she posted a video of how bad my family was, and everyone clapped when we left. I told her she had the wrong person and asked her what day she was there. It took her a while to tell me the date and when she finally did she had the totally wrong one! When I told her she had the wrong date she responded with "Oh ya, it was that day!" Ummm hello? How do you not remember the day you found your wedding dress! And I was there on a Saturday and she claimed it was a Monday... BIG difference considering I was at work on Monday. She has yet to give me the link to this "video" she claims to have... Needless to say I think it is someone from David's Bridal who is just upset that I didn't have anything nice to say about their store because this "user" just set up an account this month. If it is someone from that store I hope the manager reads this posts and realizes that she needs to makes some changes with her staff! read more

The worse possible experience I don't recommend to anyone. Spent $1000 on a dress. They told me it can be altered cause it was to big on top. gave them $250 for alterations picked it up and it was done poorly. They all stood around and looked. Knowing it was wrong. I left with it and felt so defeated. I found someone else and she couldn't believe her eyes. Now I have to pay more money to have it realtered. What a mess. No phone call or anything. I cannot stress this enough....DO NOT GO HERE!!! The experience I had during my wedding planning with David's Bridal was a nightmare. First, it started with my wedding dress alterations. When I called to make the appointment, I was never informed or asked if I had purchased my dress from David's; so, I get to my appointment (2 weeks later) and the alterations woman asked if this was a dress purchased from David's. I informed her that it wasn't and she said that they do not do alterations on dresses purchased elsewhere! I was so upset, and my mother and I spent the rest of the day driving around the valley to find someone to do it! Had I known this, I would have gone into somewhere else sooner, so that I wasn't stressing about the dress being done in time! Then a week or so later, we went for the bridesmaid fitting appointment. The bridesmaids dresses I found online were not available in the store, so I showed the link to our "attendant" and she took us to a beautiful dress that she ensured us, "was just different at the top." We got my bridesmaid fitted and ordered the dress. We asked if there were returns available, and she simply stated, "yes." We were also informed that the dress would be in in 2 weeks. Fast forward 2 weeks, and no call. So I reached out to the store and they informed me that it would be there by SEPTEMBER 7!! WE ORDERED THIS ON AUGUST 8 AND WERE TOLD 2 WEEKS! Luckily, I received a call about a week later that the dress had arrived! I was so excited to see it...but it was NOTHING like what I was shown. It was a COMPLETELY different material and VERY poorly made. I was heartbroken. Here I am, less than 2 months our from my wedding and I have to order new dresses. When I went back into the Ahwatukee location, I was met by the RUDEST manager I have ever dealt with at any business. She was completely unwilling to listen to me and was degrading me and making this out to be my fault. So of course, after this interaction, all I wanted was to return the dress and go elsewhere. Then was informed that full refunds are only granted within 7 days of purchase! That would have been a great thing for the woman to tell us when we asked about returns...had I known that, I would have ordered different dresses knowing I couldn't see them until after this time frame. The manager gave me the (wrong) customer service number to call to work it out. She never apologized for the inconvenience or miscommunication or anything. I was appalled. My experience with customer service was also terrible. They were much friendlier, but TOTALLY unwilling to help or give me a refund. "It's our policy." That's what I was met with. A million or billion dollar company can't refund me less than $300 for their mistake? I am completely taken aback with the treatment and policies of David's Bridal. I URGE YOU TO LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR BRIDAL PARTY NEEDS! From me walking in with NO appointment, Andrea was sure the give exceptional service based on my style and worked me into her already existing appointment, to help me find my gown! Alennica was an absolute JOY, she made me feel exceptionally important, rushed my alterations, had my dress ready the day before my wedding, on short notice. I can't say enough about this welcoming staff, but I would recommend them 10 times over. Having been a David's Bridal bridesmaid more times than I care to admit, I have been in this particular location several times over the years. I have always found it to be a little dark, a little dirty, a little dated, and ALWAYS full of brides and children. It is often loud and the staffers always come off a little fried and frazzled. David's Bridal is definitely not my favorite place to shop. However, without going into details that could incriminate me with one of my bride friends, they recently saved my butt, bending their own policy to make my life easier. The lesson I learned - be nice and don't be afraid to ask for an exception. I never dreamed they would help me. Not only did they help me, they bent over backwards. I decided to make this my first stop on my never-ending quest to find the perfect wedding dress. I thought this would be a good place to start since it would have many different styles in a variety of price points. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. First, when we walked in I got the same feeling I have anytime I go into Sears. The carpet was dirty, the dressing rooms were barren, and it smelled like feet. Second, our consultant seemed to be clueless. I gave her a few ideas about what I was looking for (a-line, under $800, illusion neckline or sleeves). She really struggled finding anything that fit these requirements. After I tried on 3 dresses and wasn't impressed she asked "Well, what do you want to do?" Really? This is my first time trying on dresses. I'd like to try on a few more. Overall it was a very uninspiring trip. My hopes were probably too high, but I had expected some small degree of pampering. Instead it felt like I was inconveniencing the salesperson with my "outrageous" demands. Also, the selection of dresses wasn't as large as you would think. If you want an inexpensive strapless gown I'm sure you could find something. If you want anything else you would do better elsewhere. read more

Afer my final alerations appointment yesterday...this place gets 1 star. Waited 15 mins before being helped when I had appointment at 6. Was told at previous appointment by one of the alterations ladies to leave my veil and slip with the dress and the slip was lost and somehow I was being blamed for this. The alterations lady helping me was extremely rude to my wedding planner! No excuse me or please just "move!"and "Get out of the way!" I know right?! Rude! I was also rushed out of my dress so she could stitch something because "I need to go home". Who says that to a customer?! This rating is based on our consultation and wedding dress fitting session for my best friend. Our appointment was at 9:30a and although we were running a few minutes late, all of the ladies who were in the store greeted us and quickly directed us to the showroom area to view all of their wedding gowns. Lani (who was AH-mazing) introduced herself, as we were browsing and told us to choose (3) gowns for the fitting. After we chose our top (3) gowns, she took those to the dressing room and proceeded to take measurements of my friend while me, her mother and sister waited patiently. My friend tried on a total of (3) dresses and one dress was a gown Lani had personally picked out once she knew the style of dress she liked. Lani was VERY professional and knowledgeable of the various dress styles, materials, cuts, designers, etc. My friend ended up saying "yes to the dress" Lani picked out for her and I could instantly tell she LOVED her dress. Lani made us all feel very welcome and had answers to every question we asked (even about bridesmaids dresses). I was surprised at how much thought and attention Lani put into my friend's session. She was Mindful of her budget and made us feel like we were the only people in the store at the time. The seamstress also came out to look at my friend in her dress and gave her recommendations of alterations. Lani thanked her for allowing her to be part of this special moment in her life and told her to "ring the bell" after she said "yes to the dress". We enjoyed our experience so much that we scheduled our bridesmaids dress consultation for next month with Lani. We were not disappointed with the service provided at this particular location at David's Bridal. I would highly recommend requesting Lani for your consultation needs. She is very honest, genuine and will be sure you leave finding THE dress and not A dress! read more

This review is for an appointment with a consultant for bridesmaid dresses. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of our consultant. We were there late in the evening in their latest appointment slot, so the place was fairly empty. I had half of my bridesmaids with me ready to try things on, look at color swatches, and report back to the other half! My Matron of Honor is currently expecting twins, and she will be about 35 weeks along at the wedding. Needless to say, we needed to find her a dress with plenty of room. Our consultant was very attentive to making sure she got the right kind of waist, pros and cons of different styles considering the different sizes she will be, and even brought the seamstress out to have her help make recommendations on what size to buy and how she'll help her fit in it, and look beautiful too. While the other two girls had fun trying on different styles of dresses, our consultant came over every so often to check on us, grab a couple more dresses, and answer questions. She didn't hover, which allowed us to relax amongst ourselves, but she was easy to find if we needed her. She was happy to recommend colors and explain fabric differences, check on availability of dresses and sizing options, and all the other things you'd expect a consultant to be able to do. At the end, our consultant took down the names and dress information of each girls' favorite dress(es) so it will all be on file when they are ready to place their orders. I truly had the BEST experience at this store! My wedding date is April 8, 2017 and I called them in September to make my appointment for October. I was really concerned that by the time I went to try on dresses that it would be too late for them to get my dress on time, but they reassured me and made me feel at ease. The day of my appointment my stylist's name was Sayge and she was sweet, funny, and very mature. I say that because I thought she was way older than she is because of how knowledgable and intuitive she was during my appointment. I went with my MOH/twin sister, my mom, and my MIL. Even though this store isn't set up like a boutique, I felt like Sayge's full attention was on me and like I was the only bride in the room! Really a special feeling when you're shopping for one of the most important events in your life. When we got to the store we were greeted right away, and they showed me around their show room with all the gowns that I could try on. It was clean and organized and super easy to look around. I showed Sayge a few photos of specific dresses and styles that I wanted to try on, and she found the exact dresses I hoped for. She was so easy to talk to, she asked questions about my wedding and fiance, and my mom and sister loved her too! I also showed her some photos of my favorite dress from another store, and she found one that was almost the exact same thing (and less than half the price of the other store!). I was so excited that they had the style I wanted, and when she zipped me up I knew it was the one! The material is so much more beautiful than I thought it could be and I just about cried from happiness. OK, I did cry. To top it off, the girls at this store also helped me and my sister find her MOH dress! We ordered from them right away and guess what....my dress came in less than two months later! I had a not so great experience with our original bridal consultant when I was purchasing my dress in January . She did not inform me that she was adding the petticoat which was the wrong size and overpriced to my total. I felt she misrepresented cost just to make the sale. Now the reason I gave Davids Bridal 5 stars was because Tam in alterations fixed everything that did not work for me on the dress. She even helped me save money by having me pick up my own tulle at Joanns . She is really in tune with what people want their ideal wedding dress to look like. This rating is for the alterations department since I ordered my dress at another David's Bridal. When I went in there was a small section to get changed. Once I put my dress on, they realized my dress was too small by just a smidge (I had ordered it online). They helped me out by exchanging my dress for the next size up and it was perfect. Just a little loose but it is always easier to take in than let out. The woman that did the hem work on my dress was great! She was super friendly and made sure everything was perfect. My dress was very puffy and had multiple layers but she did it wonderfully. She also added a train as well. While my dress was being altered, it was a little hot in the back room. This made me extremely sweaty and uncomfortable. I hope in the future they add a fan in the room. Luckily the woman who was hemming my dress gave me a mini paper fan at least. The price was a little high but they seem to know what they are doing. I'm picking it up a week before the wedding so I'm hoping it's perfect. I cannot wait! read more

I wasnt happy w/ my 1st dress selection. the more i put it on at home, the more I realized it wasnt me. This DB location was so nice to me. They let me exchange my unaltered (it had fit me to a T) dress for another one that was just perfect. Their alterations didnt do exactly what I wanted the 1st time (that girl is no longer there Im told) but the second, they did. And 3 days before my wedding too w/ no rush charge. I am surprised to give this 4 stars...after my experience in the PV location, I wouldn't have expected this. I went in to order a bridesmaids dress which I had already tried on before - just needed to order it in a certain size, color and with an additional sash in a certain color. The staff when I walked in was friendly, and when I went to do a quick last look at dresses I was asked if I needed help by 2 different people and they were very willing to assist me (I went in on a Saturday at around 4pm, if that's relevant). I went to the counter to order the dress and I believe the name of the young lady who helped me was Erin (my receipt says Erin E). She was SO friendly and very helpful and pulled out different colors and types of sashes for me to make sure I got the right look. I took a little bit of time deciding and even went an grabbed a dress to mess around with the sashes and she remained with me helping me the whole time, and was so helpful and friendly. I really appreciated her great customer service. Now let's just hope my dress arrives in time! read more

Lani helped my sister pick out the perfect dress for her. There was no issues at all. Great prices. I didnt think my sister find a dress today but she did and was pleased with the customer service Lani gave. A+ not sure why the ratings is low because everyone was extremely friendly. I feel very fortunate to have gotten Janelle as my consultant. David's bridal wasn't my fist choice to try on wedding gowns because of all the bad reviews i read on Yelp, but my mom was in town for the weekend and it was the only place that was opened later during the weekend. I had a great experience, Janelle was awesome she made me feel so welcome and comfortable. She went above and beyond for me. She is very personable and knowledge. My mother and I even went back the next day to try on a few different styles we didn't get around to the previous day. Janelle never once made me feel rushed or pressured to make a decision. My sister's wedding is over. It was beautiful, she was beautiful, we were all beautiful. But I'm not ready to give DB too much credit for the outcome. I visited the store four times from start to matron-of-honor finish. The dress that was chosen was not a fabulous one for my less than fabulous bust line, but that is nobody's fault but my own (drat small chest genes). When I tried it on at the initial visit, the service was good. The store wasn't too busy, and I wasn't too needy. I tried on a few different sizes, chose the one that fit my hips, and prayed alterations could take care of the rest. It took 3 weeks from initial try-on to get the dress in, another 3 weeks to get it back from alterations. (Note to girls getting alterations -- you don't need to stand in that silly line by the front desk, just go right back to the alterations room.) By the time the dress was altered, it was a week before the wedding. The alterations' dressing rooms were all full, so I had to take my dress across the store to try it on. Without anybody to help with the zipper, I had to trek back across the store to the alterations lady to have her zip me and discovered my arms were squished like sausages out the now-tiny sleeveless arm holes. The alterations lady told me, "well, we had to take it in on the sides and that's what happens." She must have seen the panic in my eyes and promised to fix it by that afternoon. When I came back, the dress fit. The alterations lady helped me unzip, and I boogied out of the store, dress in hand. Fast forward a few days. I got the dress out to show my husband. In my hurry to leave the store, it had been left unzipped in the bag. As I went to zip it up, I notice the zipper doo-hickie was hanging on by a tooth, but it lost its valiant fight to hold on. Another panicked trip to the store to get the zipper fixed (and reinforced, upon my insistence) and my experience with DB was complete. I must say the alterations ladies did everything they needed to do to make things right. I just wish things had gone more smoothly. It's lucky I checked the zipper before the wedding, otherwise it would have been a disaster. read more

Honestly, this David's Bridal Location completely overwhelmed me with joy and warmed my heart! Back in High School, I got both my junior and senior prom dresses from this David's Bridal location, as I have always had good luck with them. So, when I recently got engaged, it was only natural for me to give David's a call to schedule a bridal appointment. To make a long story short, an honest human mistake was made by my bridal consultant due to a mismarked price tag, and it resulted in myself being obsessed with a pricey dress (which I had already tried on & fell in love with), yet distraught over the fact that it was outrageously over my budget. I put on a good face and decided I would try another bridal boutique to search for a wedding dress that was better than the over-budget one, and left David's empty-handed. After a couple other appointments, I could not get the pricey dress out of my head and felt like I would never find another dress that would top it. I scheduled another appointment with Trissa @ David's to take a look at the pricey dress again. My mother, knowing my situation, spoke to Trissa on the phone, and explained what had happened. Trissa knocked down the price $230 for me! I couldn't believe what I was hearing and was completely shocked. If that wasn't enough... when I met Trissa & Mickie (another AMAZING consultant @ David's) later that day, and retried on the dress- Trissa saw the reaction of my family, and how much I was in love with the gown, so she took ANOTHER $120 off the dress and offered to order me a BRAND NEW one offline. When a company makes a mistake, it is their choice as to how to handle it. I was blown away with how generous David's was to my family and I, and how the situation was handled. Great company, FANTASTIC employees. I would recommend this location to anyone and everyone, hands down, 100%, every time. David's, you've got a customer for life! I'm so glad I came here. Honestly, I was only going to try on dresses to get a feel for what I wanted. KRYSTAL helped me and she was amazing. I had to shop alone because all my family and best friends are in another state. Krystal took her time with me and even took pictures of me to show my family! She was so honest with her input which I truly appreciate. I had no idea how to put the slip on but she was so kind to help me with it. She was so understanding when I had to wait for my family's input. I almost didn't but the dress I wanted but I'm so glad I went back in after walking out. She looked so happy to see me & helped me out right away! I'm so glad I found the dress that makes me feel like a princess. Thank you David's Bridal and thank you Krystal!!! read more

Overcrowded. Unprofessional. Less than enthusiastic. I'm done with this place. I have been into this store countless times--with friends, family, and most recently myself. Hoping to find some dress options quickly and reasonably priced, I decided to give it a try, and I really wish I hadn't. First off, the appointment was originally for my MOH to find dresses. However, due to a change in my schedule, I thought it might be smart to try on dresses while I was there with her and kill 2 birds with one stone. The rep on the phone booked our appointments at the same time, which we thought was great so we could stand next to each other in the dresses and see how we would look next to each other. Note to anyone who wants to try this in the future....don't. The consultant we had focused on me, the bride, while telling my MOH to go pull her own dresses. While other girls--eh'hem..bridezillas--might be flattered by this gesture, i was furious. My MOH was just as important as I was when it came to this appointment. When i interrupted and said "I'm sorry, aren't YOU supposed to help with that? I don't work here, and therefore don't know how your dresses are organized. How should she know what to do?" She explained there was a system and that if the MOH wanted to wait, she could help her when she was done finding my dresses. Um, no thank you. We don't have time for that, I--the bride--will help my friend since your lazy a** wouldn't. After pulling the dresses for my MOH, the consultant continued to pull dresses that didn't fit me, even after asking her not to bring them If they wouldn't fit. Not only that, but when describing my style and vision to her, she managed to pull ONE dress that was somewhere close--but wait, it didn't fit! After a few dresses and still being steamed about the situation with my MOH (her face said it all..i.e., she was she was uncomfortable, and was upset about how HER appointment turned into an appointment about me. Quickly getting change, and declining to purchase any of the dresses I tried on, we finally left David's Bridal, with NO desire to go back. While their prices are great, their service is AWFUL and just isn't worth the aggravation. I'd compare David's Bridal to the Wal-Mart of wedding dress shopping. I'd much rather pay a little more for a better service and experience than pay less and get treated like dirt. It's your choice, but if I were you, I'd decide against it. read more
