Food is great every time. I Order ToGo and food comes Fresh and seasoned very well. I ordered Al pastor torta with everything, Al pastor tacos with onions and cilantro and steak quesadillas. Oh, and their Rice and beans. I was also serviced a complimentary Chips and Salsa. We always ask for their EXTRA Hot sauce too. It's fire! Literally. Everything is So good! Great customer service. We needed a restaurant close to family for a quick take out lunch and saw this place off of Roselle Road in the Valli's grocery store plaza. Looked up reviews here before stopping in and they looked good so we stopped in. First impressions is it is bigger inside then it looks outside.It was very clean inside. Bathroom decent and clean. The only guy inside was maybe David who is the counter guy, cook, table guy, pretty much everything. Short staff aside I didn't notice any drawbacks because of it. "David" was very nice, took our order quickly and cooked it up quick. After we had placed our order and were about to sit down he asked us if we wanted a free sample while we waited. I was shocked in a very good way! You don't have to ask me twice for free food. He brought two tacos for my partner and I and chips and salsa were included. The chips, salsa, and free tacos were delicious. We took the food home immediately and when we checked it over saw everything was packed very well. Surprisingly so I thought all by the one guy. Food was delicious. I would say better than burrito bowls you can get from Chipotle with fresher ingredients. I would definitely order from this restaurant again and I highly recommend it for tacos and burritos fare. read more

The food is amazing, we got 2 breakfast burritos, as we waited the sweet cashier gave us chips and salsa as we waited. And he also brought out 2 el pastor tacos he wanted to us to "sample" it was not a sample, it was more of a meal. Hands down the service was amazing just for us waiting for our food. I am so disappointed. I have gone to this place many times but I think I have hit my limit. I have been wanting to trying there steak burrito because their steak was pretty good. This was one of the worst burritos I ever had. Especially for $9.80. My steak burrito was more like a microwaved rice and lettuce burrito with a tablespoon of chopped steak. Just terrible. I don't know what is happening with this place. They advertise $1 taco Tuesday but really all the tacos are over $1. On the menu my burrito said it we $7.99 but ended up costing $9.80. They also charge an additional fee if you don't pay in cash. With the tons of competition in the Mexican restaurant sector in the area. David's is doing a bad job of making it to the top. read more

I stopped in there tonight and I had the chicken milenesa torta it was so delicious but let me tell you they offered me to try their Al Pastor tacos. They gave us each two complementary tacos. They were the best tacos I've ever eaten in my life. The Al Pastor was seasoned so amazing., I couldn't finish all of my food so I brought it home and my daughter took a bite and couldn't stop eating it. One of my coworkers swears by David's Burrito Express! I hadn't ever been there before but we popped in on a Tuesday and wouldn't ya know, they had a Taco Tuesday special! $1 each for many types of proteins. I had Chicken, Carne Asada, Al Pastor and Bistec all for just $4! It was so filling, I had to skip the shells after one and just stick to eating the meats. I wouldn't call them the most amazing tacos of my life but they were indeed tasty and I have no qualms at all with them! So, I ordered tacos pastor, agua de horchata, a green tamale and elotes. The tacos were ok, but definitely could use more spice cuz that's what you expect from a pastor meat. I like the horchata. But that's about it. The tamale was flaky and with almost no filling. Tasted kinda bland too. Such a shame to use canned corn.. so the elotes were not good at all!!! I frequent this restaurant often for lunch. It's definitely one of the better MEXICAN restaurants in the Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates area. They have $1 tacos on Tuesdays which are delicious. They are just smaller than their regular tacos so beware when ordering them. The food is delicious. I've tried several things here and have always been satisfied. They tend to get pretty busy during lunch time so if you walk in you may not find a place to sit or if you're calling in an order, you may get the busy signal and have to keep dialing. Overall this is a good place to come for lunch or something more relaxed. read more

This place has just opened and I am so happy there is a great taqueria in this area that is predominantly an Asian and Indian restaurant area. The prices are great, the restaurant is roomy and the employees are very friendly! I ordered the steak burrito and man was it good! They also have a great breakfast menu if you are into that. My second time trying this place and it's decent. The tostadas were a little stale so I ended up using the chips that it came with that were super fresh. Everyone is so friendly here. Steak is pretty good, could use a little more seasoning, but I like that it isn't greasy. I hope this place sticks around, they could use more advertising as they weren't very busy as far as sit down customers.
