My AC unit stopped working yesterday. I reached out to Davis and Green this morning for service. I made the call and was greeted with a very pleasant and courteous lady that took all my information. She was very professional. She said that the technicians were on other calls and would be there as soon as one was freed up. I got a heads up from the tech, JT Prinnell an hour or so later that he was on his way to service the unit. He arrive about 20 minutes later and proceeded to troubleshoot the problem. He was very pleasant and professional and checked many things from the outside unit to the air handler in the attic, which is on the third floor. He did a very thorough job. Luckily it was only a bad thermostat. He had one in his vehicle and the job was done shortly thereafter. He also had shoe covers so not to track in mud. I was very pleased from start to finish with all that transpired. I will also get them to do an annual maintenance schedule going forward. A good value overall. I highly recommend Davis and Green! Travis with Davis & Green repaired our AC unit today. Last week our unit started making a funny noise - and the house was not cooling down like it should. When Travis came out, he tried everything he could to repair the unit for minimal expense. Ultimately, it was the compressor, and the part had to be ordered. (And we had to get the money together). He did confirm the part was under warranty - so we were able to save a lot there! He worked with us to save every dime possible, giving us not only great service, but ensuring the best price. And he did all of this with compassion, humanity, and EMPATHY. My husband is sick. I worked with two great technicians. Jack came out to investigate what I thought was an electrical issue with my HVAC system. He was very thorough, staying for almost 2 hours to check out many possible reasons for my issue. When it became clear that it wasn't an electrical problem, Jack set up a follow-up HVAC appointment for me. I then had Kruger come out to look at the HVAC unit. He was also thorough and explained everything in an easy to understand manner. He showed me pictures of the issues and made it clear that It was my choice whether or not to go on with further repairs. The explanation of pricing was clear. Davis and Green are very communicative regarding appointment and arrival times. They are also flexible with scheduling. I asked Davis & Green to send a technician to our home to check on a light fixture that was not functioning correctly. This firm, with which we have dealt on a number of occasions, came through as always. The representative who took my call was very professional and very helpful. She scheduled our house call on a date and time convenient to me and sent Evan Mabry out to check on our problem. He called to let us know that he was on his way. Upon checking the light fixture, Evan quickly found the cause and was able to make a rapid repair. Evan has done work for Davis & Green at our house before, so we were very glad to see him again. We've had two recent appointments with Davis & Green to service a generator. Both times, the technician Conner W. was very knowledgeable, timely, nice, and respectful with a great attitude. He performed maintenance and troubleshooted why not working, which he figured out in record time. In the last 30 days, I have used three Davis & Green residential services. 1. ELECTRICAL - Jack and his crew did an excellent job installing a new ceiling fan in a bathroom and one in a bedroom. 2. SHEETROCK - I needed sheetrock installed, and Nick did a superior job turning a circle into a square and then painting the room. 3. PLUMBING - Luke and his crew stopped the leaks in all the bathrooms and installed new parts. All toilets are good as new! JT Pinnell just helped me out today and I immediately redownloaded Yelp to make this review. He provided astounding service. Everything went as smooth as can be and he was very helpful, as I had an additional issue. Originally, I just needed my gas valve fixed since my heat wasn't cutting on, but I also had a leak. I was able to immediately get my heat back on after his visit and all issues resolved. He was also informative of everything I needed to know and made sure he didn't leave without me having any questions unanswered. The overall cost was great for all of the hard work he put in. Our generator was serviced yesterday and we were completely pleased with the services that were provided Davis and Green kept us informed of everything they were going to do. We loved that they sent a picture and a little information about them and the person who was to provide the service. Nae Anderson was the best. She was on time and took us through the steps of what work would be provided. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. We experienced a plumbing issue this week, due to the unusual cold weather. We called Davis and Green and their plumbers arrived the same day to assess our issue. The issue was an outside water leak that they immediately repaired. The Davis and Green immediate appearance at our house to repair the leak was so much appreciated. The result saved us plenty of $ and lots of frustration. The service person was as polite as we could have asked for. I definately will call Davis and Green again should we experience another plumbing, HVAC or electrical issue. Service at this level is very difficult to find. Thank you Davis and Green! read more

On 01/18/2024, Doug Fisher performed the annual maintenance service on our Honeywell Standby Generator. Doug spent 10 to 15 minutes explaining the work he would perform and answering questions I had about the service.
