I hadn't had a haircut in over a year and I was really digging having long hair. I went in and told the older guy that all I wanted was about an inch off to shape up the back and a beard trim. He immediately cut about 4 inches off of my bangs and then only about an inch off the back! It honestly looks terrible. The beard "trim" he gave me also was completely lopsided. My right side of my mustache is obviously shorter than the left side and the cheek area of the beard is much longer on the right side than the left. Not only did she cut my bangs uneven, she used texturizing shears to thin the bottom without asking if that was what I wanted. I've needed a haircut for a month or so, and decided to go here since they did walk ins. My roommate got his haircut here a week earlier and didn't like it, and I probably should have listened to him and gone somewhere else. I told them a 6 on the top and a fade on the sides. It looks like a 3 on the top and they didn't do a fade on the side. The guy didn't really take the time to cut it, just took sheers to my head and shaved it off. Jeff is wonderful. I came in a few days ago with a special needs child. His first haircut. Jeff was so kind, patient, and respectful with him. He gets kids. He knew it would not be good to insist that he sit in the chair when he was not sure about it. So he started the haircut while my boy was sitting on the floor playing with one of their awesome toys. The old guy with the dark glasses and white hair was very rude. He was clearly irritated at me before I even said anything. I ask for a taper on the sides and back and he rudely said thats all they do. It took about 5 minutes in total to cut my hair and he didnt even bother looking over my hair for quality assurance. Also, he didnt ask how I want my sideburns and just trimmed it off short. I felt like I was not welcomed here, may be due to my ethnicity. Simple hair cut for me. Requested a #2 on the sides and a small trim up top. The barber didn't even use scissors once. He did the entire haircut with just his trimmers. Got home and looked in the mirror and realized my sides were totally uneven. Will not be back. read more

What's wrong with these people? I walked in with my husband so he could get his hair cut and there were 6 adults and 4 kids waiting. One person was in the chair just yacking it up with the barber but no hair cut was happening. No one looked at us or greeted us but we decided to wait. Soon after we arrived, 4 adults left with 1 kid and the guy in the chair was very slowly getting his haircut. A friendly dog came out and sat with us and a second barber appeared. He took one of the other guys that was waiting. While I petted the dog, my husband went to use the restroom and 2 more people came in for haircuts, one blabbing endlessly on his phone. The second barber finished the trim in 3 minutes and quickly took the guy who came in after us because my husband was not yet back from the restroom. He didn't even ask who is next! I am shocked at how unfriendly and unprofessional the staff were, but if you want to waste time just petting a super nice dog but not getting a haircut then this is a great place. I didn't get a chance to have my hair cut because they skipped me over in queue when I took a call while waiting. I took the call on their skate-bench outside in deference to the patrons and barbers, and made sure to keep an eye on my turn at a chair from the window. My normal barber was closed, and I really needed a haircuit so i though why not check these guys out. The old man who cut my hair just cut my hair the way he basically wanted to, not the way i wanted it. I asked for a fade, and when he was all done it looked like i had a military mushroom hair cut. I went in and was greeted gruffly. Following having to wait for Russ to finish his lunch, I told him to "keep it long but professional". He told my girlfriend, who'd come to help gauge length, to "sit down", with strong sexist overtones. He then promptly lopped off all of my hair, leaving me with the shortest haircut I have had since the day I was born. Definitely a place to avoid, for more than just a bad haircut but also an unprofessional, unfriendly worker. Will never return. read more
