I called Mike because I believed I had rats in the attic. He saw the droppings and confirmed the issue. He found some potential areas they were entering. Week one he set traps. Week 2 he cleaned out the traps , reset them, and sealed the potential entrances. Week 3 traps were removed and no more rat issues. I called Mike for noises I heard in my attic, there were signs of mice. I live close to an open field. Mike came, set traps and the noises stopped. Somehow a little rat family managed to thump their way into our newly acquired wintertime home. He has able to exterminate all the Bee's and we they were all exterminated by that night. I liked that he was concerned about my family and dogs safty. He called to check up 3 days after. My experience with Davis Pest Control was amazing. I was able to make a appointment a week in advance and they showed up at their scheduled time. Once they arrived at my home I was overed a comprehensive summary of what services they offered and my best course of action for ridding my condo of ants. Davis Pest Control sprayed the "hot spots" in my home and in a couple of weeks my ants were gone. I plan to use them again in the future if I have any further pest issues. read more

This review is strictly based on the 5 minutes of interaction I had with Mike upon what is supposed to be an initial inspection for termites. I did not use his service. First of all I must give Mike extra credit for being fast, prompt and responsible. I called him after finding termites in one of our bathrooms. He was able to answer my phone call right away, give a brief explanation and agree to come out for an inspection within a few short hours. While I really appreciate the fact that he was willing to come all the way to do an inspection for free, his reaction upon finding out our house was sprayed by another company less than a year ago was extremely bizarre and somewhat disturbing. We bought this house in November 2016 and the previous owner had the house fumed in June 2016 I believe. I called Mike because I was never notified that the same company from last year should be responsible to treat the termites, and that we have absolutely zero experience in pest control since this is our first home. Mike did not ask for any information regarding previous treatments over the phone. When he arrived, he asked me when did I buy the house and I told him November 2016. Suddenly he got full-on triggered, completely went into counterattack mode and began to shout at me loudly in an almost violent tone, saying that he wanted ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with anything here because they got into some sort of huge lawsuit involving a person and another company because something this person did with his pest control report and the other company took the opportunity and came after them, etc. etc. etc. some kind of legal drama. He kept repeating that he absolutely would not look at anything and that he wanted absolutely nothing to do with us and this house and everything in here, and basically spent the next 5 minutes or so shouting at me like he caught me trying to get him and he's ready to put up a fight, all while I'm standing there in shock trying to make out what just happened. And then when he finally was about to leave, he even made sure he demanded for his business card back like he really need to prevent us in the future. Ok I guess??? Needless to say this is the most bizarre and disturbing interaction I ever had with a professional. I understand he is human too and might be deeply traumatized by his previous experience with the lawsuit, and that he has the right to refuse service for whatever reason, but i feel like he could have easily prevented our interaction by asking a simple question "when did you acquire this house?" over the phone, or telling me he is legally not responsible for the termites here and walk away. Maybe he assumed everyone who gave him a call is highly experienced in home ownership, but to have THAT BIG of a reaction at someone whom he knew for only 5 minutes is very unprofessional and way too extra. And to make things worse, I was having a cold and couldn't even talk loud enough to ask him to calm down, so all I could do was standing there and staring at him. Well one thing I know for sure is that I'll respect his choice and never contact them again ever. It seems like you would have a great experience with this company if you are highly experienced in home ownership and pest control stuff and don't get on his nerves. read more

Very great service from Mike and his wife! He did a FREE estimate for termite inspection . We only needed a local chemical treatment. While he was there, we asked about spraying our house for bugs. I had gotten other estimates and he offered he best price, but what got him the job was his evident knowledge of the business we explained the proces to us in detail and was always available to answer our questions.The fumigation went without a hitch and we are very happy with the results. I am not an active Yelp-er. I will do so, however, when I have received stellar customer service... We highly recommend Davis Termite & Pest Co. We spoke with Mike, the owner who was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable and scheduled an appointment; he "knows his stuff". We have lived in this home since 2002 and this was our first and only time experiencing rats in the attic and garage. Mike (and his wife-a great team!) found the entry points and set up several "safe traps" which were not harmful to our dog or cat in any way, shape or form. This was important to us given that we are concerned about the welfare of our animals. Within a week, prior to his next scheduled visit, we contacted Mike because of an odor coming from the attic. He responded quickly and removed 4 dead rats and reset traps. He returned two weeks later and removed 2 more dead ones. Last visit. No more rats! We strongly recommend that you give Mike an opportunity to serve you, if only for an estimate, when you are faced with pest control issues. read more

Mike is very knowledgeable and prompt. He came out to our house and treated the affected areas with subterranean termites caused by a water leak. I called him recently because there were termites again in the kitchen area. He checked for termites and they were the flying kind; not the subterraneans. He said to exterminate the termites, we would have to have the house empty for 3-5 days but if we could not do that, he assured us that the flying termites are harmless and should go away very soon because it is at the tail end of termite season.
